We have plenty of new content available this week as Uldir, Mythic+ dungeons, Warfronts, new world bosses, bonus rolls and the Warsong Scramble PvP Brawl became available!

Highlights

  • Uldir is available on Normal & Heroic difficulty. Check out our updated Class guides!
  • Mythic+0 dungeons are now open. The max cap has been raised to ilvl 400 (Mythic+10 Titanforged).
  • Alliance players control Arathi Highlands and have access to a world boss and various quests that reward War Resources and reputation with 7th Legion.
  • Horde players must wait and gather enough resources to attack the Alliance. The region-wide effort will take approx. 3 days and quests reward 600 Artifact Power each as well as reputation with Honorbound.
  • This week, many quests that grant reputation with War Campaign factions have opened up, so it should be easier to complete it.
  • Bonus rolls are now available. Seals of Wartorn Fate now work at the end of Mythic+ dungeons, but are more expensive.
  • An unintended bug caused players to receive ilvl 380-400 items from Mythic+ chests that weren't supposed to spawn.

Mythic Keystone Affixes

Plenty of changes to Mythic+ have been introduced in Battle for Azeroth. We have a new level 10 Seasonal affix that will be active each week. Tyrannical & Fortified are now level 2 affixes, and you can no longer swap gear in M+ runs. Here's a list of this week's affixes:

Weekly Quests

  • Azerite for the Alliance & Azerite for the Horde: Collect 40,000 Azerite from Island Expeditions to receive 2,500 Azerite and 1,500 reputation with Honorbound/7th Legion.
    • Both factions are important if you want to finish the War Campaign and unlock Dark Iron Dwarves and Mag'har Orcs.
  • Call to Arms: Tiragarde Sound (A) & Call to Arms: Tiragarde Sound (H): Turn on War Mode and defeat 10 players of the opposing faction to receive 75 reputation with Honorbound/7th Legion, 250 Honor and a Steel Strongbox.
  • Purchase 2 Seals of Wartorn Fate for Gold, Marks of Honor, or War Resources.

World Bosses

Warbringer Yenajz is the first boss up in Battle for Azeroth. Search for the epic world quests "The Faceless Herald" in Stormsong Valley. The faceless monster drops ilvl 355+ loot and completing the quest will net you 250 War Resources and 75 reputation with Honorbound/7th Legion.

Dark whispers shroud Stormsong Valley, as rumors of eldritch creatures spread throughout the countryside and families mark their doors with runes from the local scribes. Often dismissed as exaggeration, sometimes housewives' tales fall far short of the true horrors that lurk in the realm beyond our sight.

Doom's Howl (A)

Doom's Howl was created from stolen Alliance engineering plans. Used to transport hordes of troops into the worst combat conditions, this gigantic vehicle can also transform into a powerful siege platform capable of decimating enemy fortifications.

Do you have a flag? Warsong Gulch has always been the scene of an epic capture-the-flag battle, but what happens when you can capture your enemy’s flag without your own at base?Or if there are multiple flags at each base? Find out when you step into this PvP Brawl! We’ve also added a few more power-ups to the field of battle to stir things up a bit. To win, your team will need to be the first to capture 10 flags.

Question: If a faction seizes control of the Warfront a day before reset, and I do the World Boss, will I be able to do it again after the reset if my faction still controls it?

Likely so, seeing as it was the case with Nether Disruptor in Legion.

Lady Jaina Proudmoore was not dropping any Glacial Tidestorms on Mythic difficulty after they buffed the drop rate to two mounts per run. As a result, she has been reverted to only drop 1 mount until the underlying issue gets fixed.
Blizzard is currently investigating a bug that affects Mythic Jaina in the Battle of Dazar'alor raid and she now only drops one Glacial Tidestorm until further notice.
Customer Support won't be granting additional mounts while the drop rate is reverted, according to the official support page.

We should have received two mounts after today's hotfix, however after we kill Jaina we receive no mount at all.
We identified an issue were Lady Jaina Proudmoore was not dropping any Glacial Tidestorm mounts on Mythic difficulty. She has been reverted to now drop only 1 mount again while the underlying issue is investigated.

Customer Support will not be granting additional mounts while the drop rate is reverted.
In the latest round of hotfixes, Blizzard buffed the drop rate of Glacial Tidestorm and Ny'alotha Allseer to two per run, because it took up to 20 weeks for a full Mythic group to get the mounts for each member. You can find more details here.

Head to Dalaran and talk to the Archaeology Trainer to receive the The Right Path quest where you are sent to Thunder Totem in Highmountain to collect Bone Fragment of Eche'ro for the Spirit of Eche'ro mount. Note that the quest is available only once every six months, so don't forget to complete it before it's gone!
Download MapCoords or some other addons that displays coordinates on the world map. Teleport to Azsuna from the Stormwind/Orgrimmar Portal Room or use your Dalaran Hearthstone to reach Dalaran. Go to 41,26 find Dariness the Learned and learn Archaeology if you already haven't. Accept The Right Path quest from the Archaeology Trainer and fly to Thunder Totem in Highmountain. Talk to Lessah Moonwater to accept Laying to Rest. For the quest, you must collect 600 Bone Fragment of Eche'ro from four digsites in Highmountain. Redditor Arang_Choi is back with two more recreations of Warcraft lore icons in Minecraft, after his Lich King one we've already covered. We get to see how Illidan, Ragnaros and Deathwing were made in their truly massive scope (or megabuilds, as they're called), and they're really impressive.
While I'd say Ragnaros came out the best of the three, Illidan is really great as well, even coming off a little Protoss/Zeratul-y with the low details in his face - or maybe he's just wearing a Defias mask:
Ragnaros is his old fiery self, but it seems this version is post-Molten Core, as some raiders have taken Sulfuras from him and/or doused it in a whole lot of Eternal Quintessence!
Deatwing is appropriately gigantic, and maybe we can get him and the Stormwind recreation together to re-enact the ending of the Cataclysm intro cutscene.

      Which one is your favorite?

In the latest round of hotfixes, Blizzard increased the number of Mythic mounts that drop from BfA end bosses to two, meaning Jaina will drop two Glacial Tidestorms and N'Zoth two Ny'alotha Allseers, instead of just one.
It took a whole raid group up to 20 weeks to obtain Mythic mounts from BfA end bosses, so Blizzard decided to increase the number of mounts that drop on Mythic difficulty to two given that both mounts will have their drop chance reduced to 1% once Shadowlands goes live.
Glacial Tidestorm drops from Lady Jaina Proudmoore on Mythic Difficulty in Battle of Dazar'alor.
"Though she commands a variety of magical powers, Jaina has always been most proficient at summoning powerful elementals of water and ice."

Ny'alotha Allseer drops from N'Zoth on Mythic difficulty in Ny'alotha the Waking City.
"To find him, drown yourself in the Circle of Stars."

You can find more about Visions of N'Zoth mounts here.

We have a whole lot more Mythic mounts coming in as both Jaina and N'Zoth are dropping double the amount, more nerfs for healers in Horrific Visions (in groups of 2), as well as specific Stormwind vision nerfs, a brawl switch for PvP and more.

For Classic we have a fix for a disconnect issue when queueing for a Battleground.
      February 14 (source)
      Dungeons and Raids
Battle of Dazar’alor Lady Jaina Proudmoore now drops 2 Glacial Tidestorm mounts (was 1) when defeated on Mythic difficulty. Ny’alotha, the Waking City N’Zoth the Corruptor now drops 2 Ny'alotha Allseer mounts (was 1) when defeated on Mythic difficulty. With these mounts becoming quite rare once Shadowlands comes out, taking 20 weeks or more for a full Mythic raid group to get the mounts felt excessive. Horrific Visions
Reduced the health of enemies for groups of 2 or more that include at least 1 healer. Developers’ note: We expected that groups with a healer would gain efficiency by taking more risks, but we've found that this gain is offset by healers shifting focus from damage to healing as group size increases, so we're adjusting creature health accordingly. Stormwind Alleria Windrunner Darkened Sky now drains 40 Sanity (was 60 Sanity). When the Trade District bonus objective is complete, Chains of Servitude is now cast once during the fight (was twice). Items and Rewards
Corrupted Items Fixed an issue which prevented items from being forged with the +12 Corruption version of Ineffable Truth (Corruption Effect). Player versus Player
The upcoming Teeming Islands Brawl has been replaced with Temple of Hotmogu. Temple of Hotmogu Brawl’s bonus movement speed and haste have been increased to 50%. WoW Classic
Fixed an issue that could cause the player to disconnect from the game while waiting in a long queue for a Battleground.
