Events for this week include Cataclysm Timewalking, Brewfest, and opening of Uldir's second Raid Finder wing.

Highlights

• A new round of hotfixes has been deployed to live realms. 
• Raid Finder Wing 2 is now open and players can queue up for Crimson Descent.
• The Horde will soon lose control over Arathi Highlands! Don't forget to kill the boss and complete your quests.
• Cataclysm Timewalking is great for gearing up your alts (ilvl 335+ gear).
• Don't forget to get your 2 Seals for bonus rolls!

Weekly Quests

• Azerite for the Alliance & Azerite for the Horde: Collect 40,000 Azerite from Island Expeditions to receive 2,500 Azerite and 1,500 reputation with Honorbound/7th Legion.
• A Shattered Path Through Time: Complete 5 Timewalking Dungeons to receive Cache of Uldir Treasures (contains a piece of gear from Normal difficulty Uldir) and 750 Artifact Power.
• Call to Arms: Vol'dun (A) & Call to Arms: Vol'dun (H): Turn on War Mode and defeat 10 players of the opposing faction in Vol'dun to receive 75 reputation with Honorbound/7th Legion, 250 Honor, and a Steel Strongbox.

World Bosses

Ji'arak

This mighty pterrordax has a roost high up in the mountains of Zuldazar, where the air is too thin for most lungs to draw breath, and life struggles to take hold. Occasionally she descends upon the swamps below in search of heartier meals to bring back to her brood.

Overview

Ji'arak uses her massive wings to assault her foes with wind, drawing enemies in and pushing them away.

 Damage Dealers

• Hurricane Crash inflicts lethal damage to all targets caught in the center.
• Clutch can be interrupted by crowd control effects.

 Healers

• Hurricane Crash inflicts lethal damage to all targets caught in the center.
• Storm Wing inflicts significant damage to all party members.

• Protect allies from Ji'arak Broodling summoned by Matriarch's Call.
• Hurricane Crash inflicts lethal damage to all targets caught in the center.

World Events

Cataclysm Timewalking (September 25 - October 2)

Timewalking items have a base item level of 335. The weekly quest rewards a piece of ilvl 355 gear. All bosses have a chance to drop Reins of the Infinite Timereaver.

For the next seven days, take a trip back to when Deathwing ruled the skies over Azeroth—it’s time to delve back into the dungeons of Cataclysm.

This Week

All week, open Group Finder (default hotkey: i) and then select Dungeon Finder and Timewalking in the Type dropdown. When you hit ‘Find Group’, you’ll be matched up with other players and sent to one of the following Heroic dungeons:

• End Time
• Grim Batol
• The Stonecore
• Lost City of Tol’vir
• The Vortex Pinnacle
• Throne of the Tides

Your character and items will be scaled down to a power level fitting for the challenge at hand, but bosses will yield loot appropriate for your natural level. Timewalking dungeons also have a chance to drop items that usually drop when you run them on Heroic, and you’ll earn reputation with a faction that is interested in the dungeon. For example, you can earn Ramkahen reputation and the right to purchase Brown and Tan Riding Camels.

Look for the following all week long:

• Chronicler Shoopa in Zuldazar and in Boralus has a quest for you–A Shattered Path Through Time.Or, if you forget to pick it up there, you can start it from within the Adventure Journal.
  • Quest requirement: Complete 5 Timewalking dungeons.
  • Rewards: Artifact Power and one loot box containing a piece of gear from Normal difficulty Uldir.

Every Week

The Bonus Events system consists of a rotating schedule of different activities, currently scheduled to run each week beginning on Tuesdays. Each Bonus Event grants a passive bonus to a particular game activity and offers a once-per-event quest with a noteworthy reward for accomplishing a related goal. The in-game calendar can serve as your one-stop reference for the event schedule. The Adventure Guide also offers a direct link to active Bonus Events, allowing you to easily accept any associated quests.

Brewfest (September 20 - October 6)

First celebrated by the dwarves, Brewfest now holds appeal among all the races of Azeroth! Visit the Alliance camp outside Ironforge or the Horde camp outside Orgrimmar, and join the party! Check out our Brewfest guide for more details.
