Those who listen and obey prepare dark rituals to carry out their master’s will. Whatever nightmarish schemes fuel their fantastical devotion, one thing is certain: they must be stopped.

The initial stress test has ended on Classic Beta, but the stress test realm will remain accessible for play until Thursday, May 23 at 6:00 pm PDT, meaning you still have enough time to play within the level 1-5 range if you were invited, because many players had difficulties logging in to the game for many hours.
UPDATE: It seems Closed beta realms are back up for testing, or were never offline to begin with (needs confirmation).
For the time of the stress test, Closed beta realms aren't available, but should be after the stress test realm goes down. Here's a blue post from Blizzard:
      Blizzard (Source)
At this time, we have wrapped up our active testing period. The stress test realm will still be available for play until Thursday, May 23 at 6:00pm PDT. If you were selected for just the stress test, there will be no realm to login to at that time tomorrow.
The closed beta realms will soon be available again for those testers.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the WoW Classic stress test!
While the stress test schedule's fluid, the next one is planned for May 29th and the level cap will be raised to 10.
Stress Test 2: Wed May 29– Thurs May 30 Stress Test 2: Wed Jun 19– Thurs Jun 20 Stress Test 3: Thurs Jul 18– Fri July 19

The PvP Honor System and Warsong Gulch will be available for testing on Classic Beta later today. If you've got Beta access, queuing up for the battleground requires your character to be level 10 or higher.
Beta players will be able to test out the battleground until Sunday. You can queue up for the battleground by talking to the Warsong Gulch battlemaster in capital cities.
      Blizzard (Source)
      Greetings Beta Testers,
Starting on the afternoon of May 24, we will be enabling the PvP Honor System and the Warsong Gulch Battleground in the WoW Classic Beta realms. Beta players are invited to queue for Warsong Gulch from 12:00 p.m. PDT to 4:00 p.m. PDT on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26 as we try to spin up as many instances of the battleground as possible. While we’re targeting that timeframe to help capture data, players who are logged into the beta will be able to queue for Warsong Gulch at the Warsong Gulch battlemaster in capital cities at any time throughout the weekend.
As a reminder, queuing for Warsong Gulch requires your character to be level 10 or higher.
We have a few known issues related to Warsong Gulch:
The Battleground Scoreboard does not currently display Flag Captures and Flag Return statistics. The Battleground Scoreboard stat numbers are misaligned with player names. Have fun racking up those HKs and don’t forget to submit any bugs or issues that you encounter using the in-game bug reporter.

Even wondered how hard it is to play WoW on your TV using a controller? We tried just that and it's easier than you might think. In this article, we're taking a closer look at how to play the game using a controller.
Note: This is mainly intended for leveling and world quests, not end-game raiding.
      Requirements
ConsolePort: A WoW addon which natively supports Xbox and DualShock controllers. WoWMapper: Third-party software for keyboard and mouse emulation. This software is not against the ToS, because it does not automate your gameplay. Multiboxers are without any issues using ISBoxer for instance. Xbox or a DualShock controller: Alternatively, you can use a Steam controller and enable Stream streaming. Setup instructions can be found here. DualShock's touchpad acts like a mouse, which is quite nice. A long HDMI cable: In case you decide to hook up your PC to a TV. Instructions
Extract ConsolePort to Interface/Addons. The addon can be downloaded through the Twitch app too. Make sure the addon is enabled when you log in to the game. Install WoWMapper and connect the controller to your PC via cable or bluetooth. Make sure the controller is recognized by your operating system. Log in to the game and make sure ConsolePort is enabled. Now it's time to choose your controller layout. Grats, you can now start playing the game with a controller. (Optional) Enable Action Camera for extra immersion by typing /console ActionCam full, /console ActionCam basic or /console ActionCam default, depending on whichever you prefer most. You can turn it off by typing /console ActionCam off command.
      Customization and Further Reading
If you'd like to customize your keybindings or use custom profiles, check out ConsolePort's official website, instructions over at Curse, and the following video.

We recently posted an article covering a new Patch 8.2 Essence which essentially unlocks one PvP talent in PvE. Blizzard is currently looking for focused feedback on Essences and here's how you can help and make your voice heard!
To learn more information about Conflict and Strife, check out the following article.
The Essence was pushed to test realms earlier this week and requires further tuning. The primary goal is to provide an interesting choice in PvE and the chosen data are not final, which is why Blizzard is looking for feedback.
      Blizzard (Source)
      You almost hyped me… /Cry
However yesterday’s blue said it was meant to be more of a 4th PvP talent than anything related to PvE, which to be honest is quite confusing since the essence is supposed to allow the use of a PvP talent in PvE…
The primary goal of the essence is to provide an interesting choice in PvE by giving access to an additional PvP talent. The essence is acquired through PvP, and is intended to be completely optional for PvE players.
In some cases this extra PvP talent may also have interesting uses in PvE, but it’s not expected to be a strong competitor in PvE content for every spec.
Again, the chosen abilities in PTR data are not final. In particular, the ones that would clearly be overpowered or problematic in PvE (such as Leader of the Pack) are generally cases where the final decision of which PvP Talent to give hasn’t yet been made.
      The Data
Conflict and Strife is probably going to be the hardest Essence to balance and here are PvP talents which will be available in PvE sorted by Class.
      Death Knight
Blood: Unholy Command -  Your Death Grip has two charges. Frost: Chill Streak - Deals up to 6% of the target's total health in Frost damage and reduces their movement speed by 70% for 4 sec. Chill Streak bounces up to 9 times between closest targets within 6 yards. Unholy: Necrotic Strike - A vicious strike that deals [ 30% of Attack Power ] Plague damage, and converts 1 Festering Wounds into a Necrotic Wound, absorbing up to 7% of the target's maximum health in healing recieved. Demon Hunter
Havoc: Demonic Origins - The cooldown of Metamorphosis is reduced by 2 min, but now lasts 15 sec. Vengeance: Cleansed by Flame - Immolation Aura dispels all magical effects on you when cast. Druid

All Specs: Survival Tactics - Feign Death removes all harmful magical effects, and reduces damage taken by 99% for 1.5 sec. Mage

Paladin
Holy: Divine Favor - Your next Holy Light or Flash of Light is increased by 100%, costs no mana and is unable to be interrupted. Protection: Steed of Glory - Your Divine Steed lasts for an additional 2 sec. While active you become immune to movement impairing effects, and you knock back enemies that you move through. Retribution: Unbound Freedom - Blessing of Freedom also increases movement speed by 30%. Priest
Discipline: Premonition - Heals nearby targets within 20 yards for [ 75% of Spell Power ], and applies Atonement to yourself. Restoration: Ancestral Gift - You become immune to Silence and Interrupt effects for 5 sec after using Spiritwalker's Grace. Warlock
Affliction: Endless Affliction - Your Unstable Affliction deals the same damage as normal, but its duration is increased by 6 sec. Demonology: Nether Ward - Surrounds the caster with a shield that lasts 3 sec, reflecting all harmful spells cast on you. Destruction: Demon Armor - Protects the caster, increasing maximum health by 10% and increases armor by 150%. Warrior
Arms: Sharpen Blade - When activated, your next Mortal Strike will deal 15% increased damage and reduce healing taken by 50% for 6 sec. Fury: Battle Trance - You go into a trance causing you to regenerate 3% of your health and generate 5 Rage every 3 sec for 18 sec after using Raging Blow twice in a row on a target. It’s important to know – this is a preliminary look at this Essence. We’ll have changes to it in future PTR builds.
At this time, not all choices have been replaced or modified as needed to be acceptable in PvE.
Conflict and Strife is a new Essence which allows for the use of a PvP talent in PvE.
