Patch 8.2: Snapback Scuttler - Nazjatar Meta-Achievement Reward

Recommended Posts

GzsAk1v.jpg

We're back with another mount preview and this one really stands out from the crowd as possibly the best mount added in Patch 8.2 yet. It's the one Blizzard has been teasing since last BlizzCon, a crab that walks sideways!

The mount is rewarded from completing the Nazjatar meta-achievement: Undersea Usurper Undersea Usurper.

Snapback Scuttler

Giant crabs are native to Nazjatar and favored food of the naga. This one must have been well-kept to grow this large.

It's a *filtered*, not a crab! Crabs got 4 pairs of legs + a pair of claw. A basic anatomy would go a long way.

This alone could make me go back to WoW. I remember how thrilled I was when they announced a crab mount for HotS as well.

In our latest post, we take a closer look at what it takes to wear 2 legendaries at the same time in Eternity's End, all options, and the limitations of the system.
Requirements to Unlock Wearing 2 Legendaries in Patch 9.2
In Patch 9.2, players can unlock the ability to wear 2 legendaries simultaneously. This is gated behind a reputation farm and you'll have to reach Revered with The Enlightened faction to do so.
You have two options when it comes to wearing 2 legendaries at once. You can either buy a legendary belt with the power or memory from The Enlightened quartermaster and add it to any legendary item. The belt is more expensive because it's an item and you don't need a base item here.
      Memory of Unity
Memory of Unity is account-wide and allows you to craft a new Legendary item and imbue it with the power of your Covenant Legendary introduced in Patch 9.1. If your Best-in-Slot legendary takes up the waist slot, you want to craft a new legendary with the Unity power that takes up a different slot. The memory costs 500 Cosmic Flux.

The Unity legendary power effect will swap will automatically swap with your chosen Covenant.
      Belt of Unity
Alternatively, you can buy an item level 265 belt at Revered with The Enlightened, which comes with the new Unity legendary power effect by default. The item costs 2,500 Cosmic Flux because it's a ready-made legendary and you don't need base items or anything to craft it.

      What's Cosmic Flux?
Cosmic Flux is a new currency in Patch 9.2 used to buy items off Enlightened brokers. It's rewarded from doing Season 3 content and drops from raid bosses, PvP, Mythic+, Torghast, and Zereth Mortis activities.
      Limitations of the System
Your second Legendary Power must always be Unity. You can’t pick both Legendary Powers.

It's a great week in raiding, as Fury is back on top after a LONG time in Shadowlands (possibly the first time in the Sanctum as well), as the rage is unleashed in the high percentiles! There's also plenty of movement at the top in the generalist bracket and Heroic as well.
      Mythic DPS Rankings
      95th Percentile
We not only see Fury in its rightful and fully deserved spot this week and, in fact, ALL weeks in ALL expansion (can you tell I'm a Fury main? Naaaah), but we also have Balance overtake Windwalker for a major top 3 change-up. Moving on to the top 5 and 10 we have yet another Rogue coup, as Outlaw takes down Subtlety for the No.5 spot, while Havoc is just keeping its head down in 6th as the Rogues battle it out. Arms, Elemental and Frost take a hint from Havoc and stay stable, rounding out the top 10, as all three Mages cluster together. Meanwhile the bottom of the top percentiles stays unchanged, as the last 6 specs are in the same order as we left them a week ago.

95th percentile Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
While things are calmer in the generalist bracket, we still see movement in the top 3, as Fury has moved up here as well, taking Subtlety down, and Outlaw also took the opportunity to surpass its fellow Rogue, much like in the top percentiles. Balance and Windwalker move past Arms, as Elemental and Demonology close out the top 10.

All percentiles Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.

      Heroic DPS Rankings
Even Heroic sees some movement in the top 3, this time with an internal Mage affair, as Fire takes Arcane's spot, and Shadow and Arms also take the opportunity to move past the purple Mage spec, which drops into 6th. Unlike in Mythic where it's had a really bad week, Subtlety actually moves up in Heroic, taking 7th away from Demonology, who also gets got by Havoc and lands at the end of the top 10.

All percentiles Heroic data by Warcraft Logs.

As always, if you want even more info on a spec, you can check out our class guides here, for a DPS tier list you can go here, or for even more data, head on over to Warcraft Logs.

Legendary items in Patch 9.2 can be upgraded to Rank 7. In this post, we're looking at the upgrade requirements and costs.
In Patch 9.2, you can upgrade Legendary items to Rank 7 (item level 291). You have two options when it comes to upgrading legendaries to Rank 7 in Patch 9.2.
Option #1: You'll upgrade a Rank 4 to Rank 7 using Vestige of the Eternal. Option #2: You'll upgrade a Rank 5 or Rank 6 legendary with a Rank 7 base item directly at the Runecarver to Rank 7. Tome of the Eternal
Blizzard added Tome of the Eternal in Patch 9.2. The item teaches you how to craft Vestige of the Eternal, a powerful Optional Reagent that increases the item level of a legendary base item by the equivalent of 3 ranks.
To purchase Tome of the Eternal from the quartermaster, you must reach Honored with The Enlightened.
      Vestige of the Eternal
Vestige of the Eternal requires Zereth Mortis profession materials and a new item called Progenitor Essentia.
Vestige of the Eternal can be used to upgrade a Rank 4 base item to Rank 7.
Rank 5 and Rank 6 Legendaries must be upgraded directly at the Runecarver using a Rank 7 Base Item. To complete the upgrade you will need 2,000 Cosmic Flux.
      Cosmic Flux
Cosmic Flux is a new 9.2 currency, similar to Echoes of Ny'alotha from Battle for Azeroth. The currency can be obtained from doing Patch 9.2 content, meaning killing raid bosses, clearing Mythic dungeons, opening the Great Vault, doing PvP, and completing Zereth Mortis content.
      Limitations
It's worth noting that the new legendary belt item sold by The Enlightened vendor cannot be upgraded and you must use the memory on a new base item if you'd like to upgrade your "Unity" legendary.

Gluttonous Gardbrace are new Plate Shoulders that drop from Skolex in Sepulcher of the First Ones. The item has an effect that makes you eat food faster.
Our preview of interesting loot from the 9.2 raid continues today with Gluttonous Gardbrace. The item comes with the Insatiable Ravening on-equip effect.
Insatiable Ravening - You eat food faster. Much faster. But how much is "much faster"? Based on datamining, it looks like the time you spend eating is reduced by 50% while you wear Gluttonous Gardbrace.
