How to Get and Return to Mechagon & Nazjatar in Patch 8.2

Recommended Posts

Mechagon and Nazjatar have been added to the map of Kul Tiras in the latest 8.2 PTR build. In this post, we're taking a closer look at how to get there.

Mechagon and Nazjatar on the map of Kul Tiras.

1. How to Reach Mechagon

The intro quest line will be available once you set foot in Nazjatar, subsequent quests can be picked up in Boralus (Alliance) and Dazar'alor (Horde) respectively. You must travel to Tiragarde Sound and enter the vault to Mechagon.

Then, there's a short quest which needs to be done in order to travel to the new zone for the first time.

Flight Master's Whistle Flight Master's Whistle can be used to quickly reach the flight master in this location. You will be able to fly from Mechagon to all your unlocked flight points on Kul Tiras. It's also important to note that you can talk to a NPC in Mechagon to get teleported back to Boralus / Port of Zandalar.

2. How to Return to Mechagon

Horde players can talk to Captain Krooz at the Port of Zandalar to return to Mechagon at any time. Alliance will have a similar Gnome NPC equivalent located in Boralus after they finish the quest line.

1. How to Reach Nazjatar

A new quest should be available in Boralus (Alliance) and Port to Zandalar (Horde) once Patch 8.2 goes live. You will find it aboard Banshee's Wail near Nathanos when playing Horde, so it's going to be similar on the Alliance side with the quest starting on the ship in Boralus. Flight Master's Whistle Flight Master's Whistle can be used in Nazjatar after completing a short story questline marked on the map with an "!".

2. Returning to Nazjatar

When you complete the Nazjatar intro quest line, a portal in Boralus and Dazar'alor will open, allowing you to teleport to the new hubs Mezzamere (Alliance) and Newhome (Horde).

On the Horde side, the portal's located in the Hall of Ancient Paths near Oculeth.

In Mezzamere, there's a portal back to Boralus and you'll find a portal to Zuldazar in Newhome.

The probably most famous piece of World of Warcraft media seems to be the most popular South Park episode as well, as a recent competition held by the show itself had "Make love, not Warcraft" end up at the very top!
The Epic Episodes tournament saw 64 episodes go head-to-head in a big bracket, with fans voting over Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Youtube, with the grand finale coming down to Make love, not Warcraft and Scott Tenorman must die:

And in the end, the iconic WoW-themed episode won the day!
(In case the episode link above doesn't work, try this one, as it's definitely time to re-watch it!)
The episode is truly special, both to South Park and Warcraft, where it brought in so many new players to the game, as you can see from the many comments in the reddit thread talking about this recent win:
That episode was the reason I started playing WoW, bought a copy that week and have been playing off and on since. - barking_labrador
Me too. This episode changed the trajectory of my life - beanmachine89
When I don't play for a few months (once it was two years) this episode tends to trigger a desire to play for me. - Jamileem
Same. Literally not a day after I went down to Wal-Mart with my mom to pick up a copy and some game time. - or10n_sharkfin
Same and to this day hear “No No I don’t wanna start over in the graveyard” every time I die - BumblebeePleasant749 We've also recently seen some major references to the episode being added to Hearthstone's United in Stormwind expansion, as the Sword and boar(s) made an appearance! And the official WoW Twitter account also mentioned the win!
