Blizzard Gear Store Leak: Bolvar & Overwatch 2 Fine Art Print

Recommended Posts

z5S02b9.jpg

Yesterday, we brought up some interesting leaks related to the next WoW expansion and Overwatch 2. Today, the Bolvar fine art print went live on Blizzard Gear Store. Note that this does not confirm Shadowlands or anything, but we at least know it wasn't fake in the first place.

UPDATE: Both images can no longer be accessed (403 Forbidden Error). You can still find the Bolvar fine print here. Overwatch 2 was not archived, unfortunately.

The images are carefully hidden and we’ve reuploaded them in case they get deleted.

Overwatch 2 Fine Art Print

In addition to the Bolvar fine art print, there's also one related to Overwatch 2 up on Blizzard Gear Store with Echo as a Hero.

You can view it yourself by visiting the following link:

So at least that picture wasn't fake. Wonder why they changed Bolvar's eyes to blue. Regardless of the lore reason, he looked better with his orange-red color, blue kinda clashes with the rest of his body.

Still not sure about OW2, whether it's a separate game or some form of expansion. Don't like the idea of splitting the playerbase and there might be huge outrage among players, if they won't see their favorite characters and skins in there. Some designs are altered, but Brigitte, Winston and Mercy (at least from that range) appear to be rather unchanged.

He was "on our side" when he put on the helmet - but it was known that it would eventually corrupt him.  I assume that's what's happened.

I wonder how Bolvar is getting corrupted, since according to that book about Arthas, Ner'zhul is long gone (Arthas consumed his soul, so he could rule alone). Although there was some inconsistency in game, as in one quest from WotLK, LK mentioned that he used to be a shaman.

I think officially Nerzhul isn't "gone" but rather "merged" with Arthas. Think DBZ fusion. The two together made a new third personality. And just as Arthas' physical form had some of Nerzhul, maybe there exists a spirit within the Frozen Throne which is both part Nerzhul and part Arthas, which has now fused with the new Lich King.

I've updated the post now that the original links no longer work (403). Also curious to see what happened to Bolvar. Really hyped for a LK cinematic.

Technically, the Original LK used to be a Shaman. Ner'zhul was an Orc Shaman turned Warlock. He then corrupted Arthas when he called him to Northrend.

This is correct, but by the time these events were taking place, Ner'zhul should have been gone (chronologically that book happened before them), with Arthas ruling alone. Possibly, it was a classic case of miscommunication or simply in earlier version of the script Ner'zhul was still present.
