Hi all,

i'm new to this game and loving it. been playing with a shaman for almost al my battles and got me a deck that's working for me (so far) Thought i'd share it with you guy's. got mostly standard cards, 2 rare one's and 3 common one's biggrin.png

1 x (0) Ancestral Healing

2 x (1) Rockbiter Weapon

1 x (1) Leper Gnome (Common)

1 x (1) Shieldbearer (Common)

2 x (2) Windfury

1 x (2) Acidic Swamp Ooze

2 x (2) Flametongue Totem

1 x (2) Novice Engineer

1 x (2) River Crocolisk

2 x (3) Hex

1 x (3) Emperor Cobra (Rare)

2 x (3) Shattered Sun Cleric

1 x (3) Thrallmar Farseer (Common)

2 x (4) Windspeaker

2 x (5) Bloodlust

2 x (6) Fire Elemental

you can stack rockbiter weapon and even bloodlust al together, that with a card that has windfury is awesome 2 have (even if it's only for one turn),

any tips that may improve my deck cause this isnt going 2 get me very far i'm affraid :P

Many thanks,

Kavu

I think you may be a little too focused on big attacks, and the need to combo in order to get a kill.

I typically build my combo/burst decks taunt heavy.  Early power and early control are big deals for a late burst deck.  I'd, at a minimum, drop a Fire Ele and the Stormwind Champion for a Booty Bay Brawler and any 3 mana taunt.

Fire Elemental is too good to drop.  It's like the Shaman's equivalent of "Fireball" or "Druid of the Claw"; they're omnipresent, and with good reason.  I also think this is a mid-range deck and not a late-game one (mostly due to lack of giant stompy legendaries; late-game is nearly impossible to build starting out unless you're a druid).  Do you often find Bloodlust sitting in your hand while you try to keep minions on the board?  If not, great, carry on, I'm jealous.  If so, consider dropping it for something more consistently useful (Stranglethorn Tiger, maybe).  If you can craft yourself some Feral Spirits, they're pretty fantastic; you can hide your weaker minions behind them (Flametongue Totem in the middle is my personal favorite, and is a perfect followup play while you eat the Overload) and they can apply pressure on their own.

I'd also suggest dropping the Novice Engineer and maybe the crocolisk (or shieldbearer, I'm not fond of them) for a pair of Loot Hoarders.  Novice is nice for control decks that need to maintain hand size, but as a more aggressive deck the extra power is more than sufficient compensation for the slight delay on the card draw.

If you're going to craft stuff, I would definitely start with Feral Spirits, and from there maybe grab a Lightning Storm to retake the board from faster decks.  Good luck, and happy hearthstoning!

      Hello there,

I am trying to find a character that suits me and 'till now i didn't find it..
I have a Paladin level 110, a Rogue, DH, Warrior and a Druid. I really enjoyed to play Prot. Paladin but i was overwhelmed with all the knowledge i need to know for raids.I have to say that this is the class that i played the most. I have to say that i usually play in weekends and sometimes in week days.
I enjoyed playing warrior in PVP but, that was it, nothing else..

Two days ago i just got my Druid level 110 and played as Feral (with the intention to play Resto or Guard 'cause i want to be a healer and/or a tank but i found the rotations a little off for me..)

Anyway, my question is, what should i play? I was thinking about a Disc Priest or a Ench/Resto Shaman or a Brew/Mist Monk. I just can't decide what i should play and unfortunately i have to level them from scratch..

      Any advice ?

I really need a new perspective 'bout what i should play :)

      Thanks!

Maximum Effort is a new guild on Cenarion circle (A). I was the raid leader for my guild for a long time and we built up a strong raid team. Due to do some dis-agreements between me and the guild leader I was forced to leave. But luckly enough a lot of my team followed me! We're working to build a guild focused around team work and group progression. We love doing mythics, raids, talking and theory crafting about the game!
We have a very strong-core raid group, capable of clearing heroic and doing some mythic but we're just missing a few people to round it out!
Raid nights.. Tue/wed 6-830pm server (9:30-11:30 est) Off night Monday 6-830pm server (9-11:30 est)
Looking for.. -Any and all dps specs
      - Non pally or holy priest healer!
All raid mats and needs are covered by guild, we run personal look just for the ease of it.
My btag is Hethrus#1504 if you have questions or wish to try out!

I have recently started a new Resto Shaman so that I can learn the healing function from the beginning.  My character is only lvl 37 at the moment but am trying to figure out what healing weapons would work for this spec.
Because the static group I am in has chosen to forego the use of heirlooms, I am using only a few items to gain the 3 levels I need to catch up with them.  However, when I searched for information on what weapons would be best for this spec at my level, most of the sites I find are talking about the artifact weapons, which doesn't help me.
Can anyone provide feedback for this topic?   I really would appreciate any pointers.
