      • New functionality: Each time Cho deals damage to enemy Heroes, he is healed for 60 over 3 seconds. Enemy Heroes hit by Gall’s Dread Orb receive 35% less healing for 4 seconds.
Developer Comment: In regards to his trait, we want optimal play for Cho’gall to be to have Gall’s Ogre RageOgre Rage be active most of the time, with emergency switches to Cho’s Ogre HideOgre Hide when he is in danger. There are a few talents on Cho’galls tree that disincentivize this behavior, which we are adjusting now. Calloused HideCalloused Hide in particular was becoming an issue, as players have recently been finding it optimal to stay in Ogre Hide for the entire game, which removes the gameplay around the trait.

Developer Comment: It’s been a long time since we've looked at Muradin. He’s been such a staple in the meta for so long that we did not feel he needed any large changes. While minor, these buffs should help bring him back into the spotlight as a valuable member of any team.

Developer Comment: It has been a longstanding request to make Tyrael’s trait have some more oomph to it, so we’re giving him a thematic change where he can reduce his death timer when hitting enemy Heroes. We don’t expect this to be a huge winrate bump, but we do think it makes it feel a bit better to play as the Archangel of Justice.

While Abathur players can still do this strategy, it will be more difficult to pull off, as Abathur will have to travel to a more central location on the map to plant a Toxic NestToxic Nest for vision to burrow into the enemy base.

Developer Comment: It’s been a long time since we made some serious changes to Zarya’s talents, so these changes should shake things up a bit for her. Plasma ShockPlasma Shock in particular was not seeing much play, so we’re rolling its functionality into Pinpoint AccuracyPinpoint Accuracy, and buffing other talents on the tier to keep their competitiveness. We’re also redesigning Clear OutClear Out to give a massive cooldown reduction to Expulsion ZoneExpulsion Zone instead of a radius increase, as we found the radius increase to not be the most impactful or fun Level 20 upgrade.

Developer Comment: While our recent changes to ResurrectResurrect have put Auriel in the spotlight, she has been performing a bit too well compared to other Healers for some time now. We’re reducing some of her power to keep her more in line with her peers.

Developer Comment: We weren’t satisfied that the changes we recently made to Maiev’s Cruel ChainCruel Chain talent were a clear enough win for the hero overall, so we’re going to revert the changes we made to this talent. However, we do believe that Vengeful KnivesVengeful Knives is in a better, more competitive spot compared to before, so we are keeping those changes in.

Developer Comment: Azmodan’s Level 16 All Shall BurnAll Shall Burn talents have been in a bit of an awkward spot due to competing with one another. We’re putting the talents on separate tiers and moving TrampleTrample down to Level 16, which should prove to be a powerful option for players who want a its utility at that level.

Developer Comment: Fenix has a fairly good talent tree, but we found some room to improve some of his talents. Inhibiting Energy in particular will now give him the ability to permanently Slow enemy Heroes provided he can keep hitting them with Weapon Mode: Phase BombPhase Bomb, which should be a fun addition to what he can potentially bring to his team.

Developer Comment: Similar to Orphea last patch, we’re removing a use case where it often felt like a requirement to take two talents together for their full effect. Ace In The HoleAce In The Hole will now give Raynor the Slow that he desperately wants for its proc, and to make sure that his other Level 1 talents are competitive, we’re giving them a boost as well.

Developer Comment: We like how the new BarricadeBarricade is playing, but since Sgt. Hammer’s Mana tension is now fairly high, taking the talent often meant that she would very quickly run out of Mana. We’re giving it a hefty Mana cost reduction, which should make it an even more attractive pick.

There isn't much, but some of these small changes might be pretty good. Slight nerf to Deathwing, which is quite good, though he doesn't seem as annoying as he used to be on his release. Good change to Raynor, having slow baked in into Ace in the Hole.

This is great news. Still doesn't make Block-style talents very useful, specially if you're facing DPS Heroes that deal low damage with Basic Attacks (such as Tracer and Tychus), but it is nice that they removed the generic Block from Muradin.

About damn time they made Tyrael's trait less useless (altough I still think they could tweak it even more). I wonder if that timer reduction works on clones, such as Nova's Holo DecoyHolo Decoy and Samuro's Mirror ImageMirror Image.

I was expecting a more impactful patch, but it is nice to see they're still dropping those minor balance patches while we wait for the Tassadar and D.Va reworks.

Abathur mines got wrecked. They need to add a no-tunnel zone around Forts instead of nerfing the mines.

Azmodan got a good buff. Always liked Trample and the rearrangement of laser talents helps with the laser build.

I'm a little worried Azmodan might only have one build now though.

As for Tyreal's death bomb. Hope they don't do too many changes to it as that would lead to suicidal playstyles too much.

There's a character in League of Legends where you fight after you die and people just charge him forward to die purposefully.

Brightwing Base Soothing Mist [Trait] Fixed an issue that caused Smoothing Mist to activate around Brightwing when in Stasis. Dehaka Fixed an issue where Basic Attack's would potentially not consume evade stacks if attacking within .25 seconds of Drag ending. Jaina Level 16 Snowstorm Fixed an issue that caused Snowstorm's bonus to not apply correctly. Kael'thas Level 7 Sunfire Enchantment Fixed an issue that caused an active Sunfire Enchantment Spell Power buff to be removed when Kael'thas is killed. Kharazim Level 10 Divine Palm Fixed an issue that caused Divine Palm's Stasis to remove Damage Over Time effects from Kharazim. Fixed an issue that caused Divine Palm to not remove negative effects that were applied alongside the triggering effect. Leoric Base Drain Hope [W] Fixed an issue that caused Stasis on Leoric or Drain Hope's target to not break Drain Hope. Li Li Fixed an issue that caused Water Serpent to move at a reduced speed. Level 4 Surging Winds Fixed an issue that caused an active Surging Winds buff to be removed when Li Li is killed. Li-Ming Level 1 Power Hungry Fixed an issue that caused an active Power Hungry buff to be removed when Li-Ming is killed. Lunara Level 10 Leaping Strike Fixed an issue that caused Leaping Strike to stall game logic. Malthael Level 1 Fear The Reaper Fixed an issue that caused Fear the Reaper's duration indicator to not be tied to the ability button. The Butcher Fixed an issue that allowed The Butcher to disjoint while collecting Fresh Meat. The Lost Vikings Fixed an issue that caused Longboat to move at a reduced speed. Tychus Level 20 Focusing Diodes Now grants an additive damage bonus. Whitemane Level 10 Divine Reckoning Updated Divine Reckoning's mana restoration based off of damage dealt to display only one instance of floating text.
