What happened to the UI community?

I remember there being a huge amount of full ui's back in the day! From graphical to minimal to productive etc. etc. I see wowinterface has a general classic page but what happened? Does no one make them anymore? Seems ElvUI has taken over and no one appreciates a good graphical or minimal ui anymore. Anyone know of a site?
