Almost All 1-handed Swords Collected! 99% and DesMephisto's at it Again

Recommended Posts

DesMephisto is back, or perhaps it's more accurate to say he never stopped, as his transmog collection focus has moved on from successfully getting all the plate items to one handed swords. The pre-patch is looming ahead, and with it come all the new Shadowlands items into the collection's box, meaning there isn't that much time left for this particular endeavor! One handed swords were a natural fit, as DesMephisto has now also finished his 50th max level warrior, but they do have quite a few missing/unobtainable/never implemented swords on the list as well, so don't be confused by the numbers in the regular UI.

He only has 5 items left, with the major obstacles being Mythic Eternal Palace and Battle of Dazar'Alor:

It honestly surprisingly has been easier than I thought. Part of the reason I went down the sword path was there were no super rare swords, and the only ones from Mythic Ny'alotha were from Wrathion. I've also had a ton of luck with good RNG going from 24 to 7 swords in one week alone. The remaining Swords are from Mythic EP and Mythic BoD which will likely be the hardest, with the grand finale probably being 24 hours of archaeology lol.

Here's a clip from one of the harder to get ones so far, off of Mythrax:

The pre-patch will also take away his 100% of all available plate transmogs, and depending on when it  arrives, there's potentially very little time to get the 1 handed swords done. Let's hope he makes it, and then it's on to phase 2 - re-acquiring those two titles and getting all the new plate and 1H swords from Shadowlands!

And here's the 50th max level warrior tweet as well:

In the meanwhile, you can check him out over on Twitch.
