We've seen plenty of bits and pieces of the many cinematics of Diablo2 and its expansion improved over the last year or so, but now Upscale have upgraded every single cutsence from the legendary game! We get to enjoy the whole story in one video, with some impressive visual upgrades, with up to 8K resolution (although most of us will probably top out at 4K) and 60 FPS!

As we wait for Diablo 4 (and D3 Season 22), here's some more Diablo goodness, in the form of a new D2 mod! This one's pretty different from the usual crowd, as it completely changes the game and sees you competing against other players in a roguelike experience to take down the bosses and Leoric himself at the end! From FFA, 2v2v2v2 and 4v4 modes, this mod sees you battling it out in PvP, finding merchants to upgrade your gear (including runes!) and getting potions and similar, all the while pushing forward to try and down the bosses (Balrog, Archbishop Lazarus, The Butcher, Gharbad, Etrigran, and the Black Knight) to get to Leoric and be the first to last hit him.
You can download the mod here or check out the site itself as well.

It's been quite a while since we heard anything from Diablo 4, as we wait for the third quarterly update which should be arriving by the end of the month. However, there has been some movement on the staff front, in addition to the recent recruitment post for a monetization expert. We have two new job postings to take a look at today, with Global Digital Marketing Manager and a Senior PR Manager positions being available.
This may indicate a faster ramp up in the development of Diablo 4 (and, to a lesser extent, Diablo Immortal), as all of these positions are sales-related, so the infinite speculation over the exact year D4 is releasing in (and mild chatter about when Diablo Immortal is coming) can continue unabated!

Here's another blast from the past. It's a PC review of the original Diablo game from the Computer and Video Games Magazine UK, Issue 185, from April 1997.
