Most mounts won't work in the Maw, but you can earn Corridor CreeperCorridor Creeper from Torghast that works in the new endgame zone of Shadowlands.

Your regular mounts won't work in the Maw. Instead, the following message will pop up on the screen:

"Your mount ignores your call within The Maw."

Druids in their Travel FormTravel Form can run at 100% ground speed in the Maw and can even bring a friend along, but other classes won't be able to use mounts in the new zones without acquiring Corridor CreeperCorridor Creeper.

Corridor CreeperCorridor Creeper is a reward from clearing Twisting Corridors: Layer 8Twisting Corridors: Layer 8 in Torghast's Challenge Mode, and the mount allows you to mount up in the Maw.

The loyal hounds of the Jailer creep along the corridors in search of the scent of souls.

    Ugh, that clipping... ?

That's the reason why I never really use bear mounts (and some others). Really wish they'd add some additional riding poses/models for races with longer legs, to make sure that they don't look so weird on broader mounts. Or I just have to play gnomes, I suppose. XD

We don't know all of the criteria yet for obtaining the mount, and the Maw may be like Argus and -never- allow flying, regardless of the other zones.

Blizzard is breaking the faction divide in Patch 9.2.5 allowing friends from the opposite faction to play together. Check out the official preview of cross-faction instances coming in the latest patch!
        (Source)
Make frenemies of your enemies when you party with players from the opposing faction!
As initially outlined in a previous post, cross-faction instances will break the faction divide by allowing friends from the opposite faction to play together. It will also expand opportunities for players to pursue their favorite group content.
        Grouping Up
To invite members of the opposite faction to a party, players must have a BattleTag or Real ID friendship or be members of a cross-faction WoW Community.
Players will have the ability to find Premade Groups in the Group Finder for dungeons (Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and Mythic+), raids, rated arena/RBGs, and also Torghast. However, the group leader may restrict the listing to same-faction applicants if they choose.
Once in a party, members of the opposite faction will remain unfriendly while outside of instances, though they will be able to communicate through party and raid chat, as well as use /say and /yell within proximity of one another.

Upon entering a dungeon, raid, or rated PvP match, however, all members will be friendly and able to assist each other in combat, trade loot, earn shared achievements, and otherwise fully engage the same way members of the same faction do.
        Guilds
Guilds will remain single-faction, and random matchmade activities like Heroic dungeons, Skirmishes, or Random Battlegrounds will all remain same-faction.
        Legacy Instances

The functionality of the cross-faction instance feature will also apply to legacy instances and is available at all levels. However, there will be several older instances that cross-faction parties cannot enter due to faction-specific components, and they are:
Trial of the Champion Trial of the Crusader Vault of Archavon Icecrown Citadel Baradin Hold Siege of Boralus Battle of Dazar'alor Darkmaul Citadel (Exile's Reach dungeon) Cross-faction instances are ready for you to reach across the faction divide in the Shadowlands 9.2.5 content update. We'll see you in the Azeroth!

Content creator MrGM found a glitch that allowed him to create a cross-faction guild on the Patch 9.2.5 PTR.
Blizzard clearly stated that guilds will remain single-faction in Patch 9.2.5 in a blue post about cross-faction instances.
        (Source)
Guilds will remain single-faction, and random matchmade activities like Heroic dungeons, Skirmishes, or Random Battlegrounds will all remain same-faction (both because there is less faction-driven pressure around random groups, and to avoid compromising the opt-in nature of the feature by randomly placing a queuing orc in a group with a night elf). However, content creator MrGM found a glitch that allowed him to break the system and create a cross-faction guild on the Patch 9.2.5 PTR.
The group went with a guild charter into Torghast and created a guild there. Probably any cross-faction content would work to replicate the bug. Players of the opposite faction were able to sign the guild charter it and when the guild was created, each player could invite players from their faction into the guild, meaning Alliance players could invite other Alliance players to join and vice-versa.
