Big nerf of the dps spec, and the tank spec is below all the other tanks, well I guess we won't see many DH

And can you define that where exactly do you see the big nerf? I see that they merged good azerite traits into flat rank of for example Eye Beam and Meta. (Havoc) (above 50)

But i am more into warrior, DK and monk, just want to know.

I think the fact that you can now fairly reliably reduce Eye Beam's CD, should actually benefit the player. Eye Beam, as far as I know, is the main damage source for DH, so that, combined with the fact that it seems to be amongst the AoE skills that doesn't cap at five targets sounds pretty good to me.

I am a laymen when it comes to DH as well, but I'm kind of excited about what I read here. Seems to be a casual friendly, yet viable DPS spec.

Havoc is in a decent state imo (not perfect) however the nerf really hit Vengeance where the self healing got reduced by 50% along with increasing cool down time on Meta along with clipping some leveling  talents eg) Abyssal Strike in Shadowlands will not offer an extra 10 yards when you use Infernal Strike.  Gluttony is also removed entirely from the Talent system which was a decent source of a random proc of Meta that helped with being defensive.  The new variation of adding Demonic and Fel Devastation is new and may offer some potential but I can't say if it can out perform the standard of using a build with Soul Bomb at the start of the SL expac.

how did havoc get nerfed?

  • no blade dance dodge (was absolutely massive for melee damage reduction, not saying it was good for the game)
  • meta has NO leech unless you spec into soul rending
  • furious gaze on live with 3 traits = 57% haste. FG on ptr/beta = 15%
  • blur 20% not 35%
  • no eyes of rage reducing cd on eye beam (which in turn gives survivability)
  • demonic talent reduced to 6 sec instead of 8
  • massive lack of haste and fury generation results in less chaos strikes = less souls = less heals
  • overall damage nerfed baseline
  • forced into a very specific talent build with no other options (even worse now)
  • AoE capped on almost all abilities

probably missing a couple other things, but as you can see, DH is f***** for shadowlands. was fun while it lasted

Dude i played DH and the nerfs are reasonable since DH was op af. It will still be better than most other melee specs. (Ferals still crying in a corner)

Even though it's not finalized we are still considered an A rank dps for the new Raid Tier.  Yes those are nerfs however it could be a lot worse; in BFA we rely heavily on select traits to be decent in a given scenario and with that going out the door just the same as the Legion Legendaries and Artifact Weapon we will have to rely on the new form of borrowed power to be viable against other classes.  Yes it sucks but doesn't mean you should give up entirely on the class unless you are just absolutely tired of playing it and wish to try something new.

In SL your Covenant Abilities, Soulbinds, Conduits, and your choice of crafted Legendaries will be your new found strength.

It's not even these specific nerfs why I'm not playing it. They lost all of the things that made it enjoyable and had no compensation, so now its a slow boring rotation of 4 spells. Before it was atleast fast and had good damage. The only reason their damage is even somewhat competitive right now is because of the covenant ability doing 35% of their damage (which is dispellable). I agree that things like blade dance dodge and some leech being gone is good, but by god when they nerf all of that and nerf their only on use defensive, they are going to be squishier than an enhance shaman. Trust me, I've played a LOT of beta and watched a lot. They die first, easily.

I mean yeah some melee classes are garbage as well, but those classes should be buffed. Not make DH garbage too. I agree that their survivability was pretty OP but I would compomise that for some actual skilled on use defensives. But they nerfed ALL of it.

The first thing that greets you as you enter Oribos after the Maw intro are two huge automatons/anima infused armors/whichever guardian construct form you want to call them. They're pretty imposing and give you a sense of otherworldliness, the Protector Captain in particular. Well, it turns out you just have to look a LITTLE closer and that facade falls apart.
Now that's one big head. So, is it time for the conspiracy theories that the Shadowlands are all a fraud and make with smoke and mirrors to deceive us? Did we REALLY kill N'Zoth or is this just one of his tricks?! Or maybe it's just a human model used for easier coding , and Blizzard didn't figure anyone would be crazy enough to look that close! But krabby_patty did and we thank them for it!

Fixed an issue where the fight event during the Rogue Order Hall Campaign quest “Picking A Fight” would sometimes not start. Master Cheng now deals appropriate damage while on the Monk quest, “Begin Your Training: Master Cheng.” Master Hight had a talk with Cheng about how many new monks were being battered, bruised, and literally set on fire within the Peak of "Serenity" and asked that he scale it back a bit. Fixed an issue where players who reached Threat Level 5 would still have the Eye of the Jailer Stygia and Ve'nari Reputation reduction debuff the next day. Torghast, Tower of the Damned

Increased the health of the accompanied dredger and the time between waves of enemies for “Demolition Detail”.

Did you always get slightly upset when Pelagos and Kleia would mount up on those cool flying lion-looking mounts in the Bastion quests and you couldn't? Well now you can! The Silverwind Larion has been found, or rather the way to get him has, as you'll "just" need to collect 50 tiny Anima Shards in Bastion.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must be level 60 to see the shards you need to collect!

As Belivious677 pointed out, the WoW secret finding community has recently found the final 50th one, and you can find all their locations (and details on the hunt itself) in this google document, or they may have already been uploaded to the HandyNotes: Shadowlands addon as well (the creator put together the google doc as well), or they will be soon.

These aren't all of them so definitely check out the google doc for the full guide.
So once again, thanks to Belivious677 for pointing out the secret has been solved, to HandyNotes maker Zarillion for putting the search together and to the WoW secret finding discord for, well, finding the secret!

Blizzard have detailed what's been going on in relation to server stability and the long queues some servers are experiencing:
      (source)
Since shortly after the launch of Shadowlands, we’ve experienced some service issues that are negatively impacting gameplay on a small number of realms. In this region, we’ve been monitoring and working around the clock to solve these issues for:
Area 52 Frostmourne Illidan Stormrage Tichondrius We increased realm capacity to let more players than ever before into a single realm, but extreme demand on a few realms has exceeded even that capacity, so we have dialed down some of our earlier changes. We are trying to carefully balance service stability and accessibility, and exploring multiple avenues to get everyone online and playing smoothly.
This issue is our number one priority. We will continue to work to solve this as quickly as possible, and we will provide further updates as necessary.
Thank you very much for your patience.
