Activision Blizzard is planning to close down Blizzard offices in Versailles, and so the union representing Blizzard workers went on strike, and we have players joining the strike in-game.
French streamer ZoltanTV shared a screenshot of players protesting against Blizzard EU in the game. Even though I fail to comprehend how paying one's monthly subscription to a company that you protest against counts as protesting (I obviously mean the players here not Zoltan), but here goes nothing!

According to Bloomberg, Activision Blizzard informed employees Tuesday morning that they will be closing their second-largest office in France.
Activision Blizzard has many offices worldwide, and the French office located in Versailles employs at least 400 people, most of which provide Customer Service for EU players.
Originally, the company planned to relocate half of its employees to London. However, due to Brexit and the ongoing health crisis, Bloomberg reports they have completely decided to scrap that idea and close the Versailles office.
It's not clear how many people will lose their jobs and how many will be allowed to relocate to different offices, but French labor laws force companies to negotiate significant compensation packages for employees caught in mass layoffs, according to Bloomberg.
Apparently, the French employees were told they would learn more information next week, and an Activision Blizzard spokesperson did not make an official statement just yet.

WarCraft 3: Reforged was always hoped to be a platform for potential mod remakes of the earlier games and much more creativity besides, but after the very rocky launch that seemed to fall to the wayside a bit. But now we have a really great project to look forward to, as Chronicles of the Second War, a WC2: Tides of Darkness remake is in testing and already has 4 missions ready, as well as a cool trailer!
You can download the mod, for now featuring just the first 4 missions over at HiveWorkshop!
A dedicated team is working on this awesome project and have already done a whole lot, from the new unit models, campaign implementation and so much more. You can check out their aims, features for the mod and everyone involved below:
And here's a slightly earlier video showcasing the Orcs:
Nano from the Nostalrius project is back with a second source that allegedly confirmed that Phase 6 and Naxxrammas are planned for early December 2020 with The Burning Crusade Classic Beta launching in March 2021, and we also find out that TBC Classic may launch sooner than expected.
Barrens Chat reports that Nano had a second source confirming Phase 6 rollout and details about TBC Classic. Obviously, nothing has been officially confirmed yet by Blizzard so take the rumor with a grain of salt.

There have been some rumors going around recently about a potential second Warcraft movie that may be in development. These were somewhat vague and just mentioned that the production company for the first movie, Legendary Entertainment, were "already discussing" the next Warcraft movie behind the scenes and that it would wipe the slate clean and start the franchise over. The next rumor had a little more weight to it, coming from a relatively reliable "scooper", Daniel Ritchman via Movie Web, and claimed that the second movie is actually already in development. All related articles mention the poor critical and audience receptions of the first movie, as well as it's success in China and high box office returns from overseas.
Now all of the above rumors were a little under our benchmark, as it's all very vague, but something new came up today which definitely got our attention, as first noticed by Wowhead:
Metzen was also involved in the first movie, co-producing it and being an un-credited writer, and he also had a cameo appearance in it as a turbaned perfume vendor in Stormwind. Whether his comment was just as a member of the public and obviously interested in seeing more Warcraft or he knows something more about this rumor is unclear, although it seems difficult to believe a project like that would be made without his knowing about it. In any case, his mentioning it definitely made us a lot more curious.
We've also recently seen some community wishes for a potential Lich King movie, with Henry Cavil as Arthas (with some posters whipped up as well), which definitely got everyone's vote for the next attempt at starting the Warcraft cinematic universe, and it seems pretty likely that regardless of which iconic storyline they choose to adapt, Metzen should be involved to some degree. The first movie's director, Duncan Jones, previously both shared his own plans for a potential trilogy, and commented on the fact that a sequel wouldn't be happening as far as he knows, which is true even if the above rumor turns out to be true.
NOT part of the rumor, just a fan interpretation.
So, what do you think of the rumor? And which part of the Warcraft mythos should be covered in this potential re-launch of the brand on the big screen?
