Guest squidBeard Report post Posted December 5, 2020 Just started playing Hogger last night. Some suggested tips & tricks: Loot Hoard is perfect to use with Staggering Blow, as it allows you to create terrain which you can knock opponents into to proc the stun effect even in the middle of a lane. Wild Hog's unstoppable effect makes it great for escape and for soaking enemy CC, but the .25s delay makes it require skilled timing. Staggering Blow is a fantastic tool for peeling enemy heroes trying to gank your healer/backline. The high-angle of effect and good knockback makes it easy to pull of the stun effect, which can turn an enemy dive attempt into a counter-gank. When picking Hoardapult at level 10, a good combo is to Wild Hog to the enemy backline, cut their team off using Loot Horde, then use Hoardapult to launch back to your own frontline to continue to soak and harass. Slip in Staggering Blow either to interrupt the backline, or to peel for your team.

We prefer to keep the Tips and Tricks section short, so we use it only to showcase what's important to know for who's new to the Hero. Advanced tips are mentioned while explaining Abilities in the Abilities page.
Guest Meist Report post Posted December 19, 2020 Hogger is really fun, his self healing is top tier. He can kill merc camps quickly with a well placed crate and wild hog. At level 20, the ability to spin on someone does insane damage, more so if you have full rage when you do it. During crazy teamfights, a solid wild hog is just hilarious as you melt their team. Anyone competent would likely get out of the way but when they don't notice, it's comical.
Valhalen 1,463 Report post Posted December 25, 2020 I think it is very worth noting that Hogger synergizes extremely well with Tassadar and Nazeebo because of Force Wall and Zombie Wall, respectively. Being able to create more objects that Hogger can slap enemies into with Staggering Blow is absurdly amazing.
