Printer friendly guides option

Recommended Posts

Would it be possible to get printer friendly version of the guides? In particular the raid guides. I know you need people to visit the site to receive advertisement revenue but having the option to print would be very helpful in my raid prep. Yes. I know just copy, paste and make my own but then the format is wonky and I spend a ton of time adjusting things. Just something to consider. Also, having the option to be in light mode over dark would be great.

Hey! The reason why we don't have a printer friendly version anymore is that it's hard to maintain and browsers (and their extensions) these days do a much better job than we ever could. For example, by default, Safari on Mac prints exactly like you want. While Chrome does not do that natively, you can use the following extension to achieve exactly the results you want (and not just on Icy Veins!): https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/print-friendly-pdf/ohlencieiipommannpdfcmfdpjjmeolj?hl=en

      Howdy,
I use Icy-Veins a lot when learning a new class and I am super lazy so I made a rotation helper profile for each class in TellMeWhen using the guides provided here.
They can tell when you are in an AoE situation (melee and ranged) and will also not suggest abilities you have not yet unlocked.
I have also tried to keep them as minimal as possible so you can modify them as you wish by adding/removing components

Let me know what you think

I think it would be useful to include builds and legendary recommendations for open-world/leveling in BfA, in addition to raiding/mythic+.  Some guides do touch on this but not consistently.  (Including open-world/leveling in the general guide framework would be good, too.)  With so many changes I've seen/heard a lot of folks going with survivability/generic legendaries like Prydaz/Sephuz versus talent/ability boosters.  I'd love to hear what the guide writers and others here think.

Is this intentional, or an oversight or something? Just wondering, I haven't noticed any other heroes without guides on this site, seemed kind of odd to me.

Just throwing this shower thought out there because why not.
Would it be possible with reasonable amount of resources and time that you have available, to create couple of generic general gameplay/map guides for Heroes of the Storm? There are already a couple for other games, although mostly pretty old ones. Things like general guidelines for tanking, healing and stutter stepping as well as map guides of what heroes are which priority and how the maps play out? You already have some maps covered at the "map specific advice", but as the "new hero guide format" cuts the map specific advice part off, would adding such thing be possible. Not that I would be desperately in need of one, but if I had to guess, a lot of people would be glad to get them available.

Can we have a Mythic+ page on each of the class guides, indicating:
Talents Single target (Boss) rotation (just refer to the normal class rotation guide). AoE (4+) Rotation (mobs/trash). AoE (4+) Stat Priority.
