Castle Nathria Shadowlands Day 1 DPS Log Rankings

The first raid of Shadowlands has finally opened and Castle Nathria is proving to be quite the challenge on Heroic difficulty! We're going to be taking a look at the VERY PRELIMINARY Warcraft Logs gathered so far from day 1, so obviously take all of this with a giant grain of salt.

While the EU side of things only having had the raid open since this morning, all of the top guilds went in very early/immediately, so the high percentile numbers won't be quite as problematic for the EU side (although they're still going to be low as most regular guilds haven't started yet). We'll be coming back to check the numbers in a few days when it's all calmed down a little, but we wanted to take a look at the chaos that day 1 and the lack of hotfixes brings, especially with crazy stuff like the massive exploit that (presumably) still hasn't been fixed.

So if you're looking for a good overview of the DPS spec performance, this very likely isn't it and you should wait a few days, but it's an interesting look at what's happening in the chaos of day 1! Luckily we've also asked our own Publik to shed some light on the numbers. You can also check out our actual tier list of all specs and roles here for a more speculative overview and of course our class guides for the most in-depth information.

We're starting out and will mostly focus on the 90th percentile, as that's where the top guilds are and those will be the more reliable stats due to the EU disbalance, and we'll be looking at both Heroic and Normal, as Heroic is turning out to be quite difficult for most guilds.

Heroic 90th percentile (with one final note that some specs are EXTREMELY low representation, with 24 logs to their name for the 90th percentile):

With the release of Castle Nathria we can get a small glimpse into performance of specs early in the gearing process. Since most people are holding on for balance changes and not crafting a legendary. certain specs performance might look lower than expected, but once people get their Legendary and full Soulbind + Conduit combinations things should stabilize more.

That being said there are certain specs that are pulling ahead of the pack, due to their universally good toolkits that work for a range of bosses and fight types. With the more limited data set we have in Heroic, things will be a bit more skewed to the opening bosses that are more single target, rather than the later bosses that include more AoE or cleave which certainly has impact on specs like Balance Druid that have exceptional spread AoE with Starfall. Inside of Heroic specifically we can see that the expected Unholy Death Knight, Shadow Priest, and Marksmanship Hunter are performing exceptionally well, with Affliction Warlock and Elemental Shaman close behind. At the opposite end of the spectrum we can see that a good chunk of the melee specs are struggling to compete in this tier, with Fury Warrior and Havoc Demon Hunter almost being bottom of the charts, if it weren’t for Assassination rogues being extremely behind everyone.

Normal 90th percentile:

Looking at Normal logs, where we have a bit better representation of fight styles we still see the same top performers, with Balance Druid handily in the top section now that we have a variety of fight styles. On a more interesting note, Feral Druids are also joining their Balance counterparts near the top of the damage meter. One thing is clear in that certain specs are performing better at lower gear levels without lots of borrowed power than others, as no doubt spec balance was done after we get full Legendary powers and better gear, but time will tell how things shake up as we get into Mythic Castle Nathria next week.

- Publik

We'll be back in a few days to check in on things when they've evened out a little, with some hotfixes definitely coming in the next days and with more data available, the numbers will be more relevant.

Yeah we had 3 unholy DKs in raid last night.    One of whom was new to the class in the last week.

#1,2,3 on the dps meter all 4 fights we got down.

All of the Pontifcators said Frost Mage was a top 5 DPS class.  What happened there?  That's a big miss there.   Mage is in the top 10 with 1 spec.  Meanwhile Druid and DK are in there 2 times and they can both Tank, and Druid can heal?  Wtf devs messed up on this one.

Nice to see new faces on the top, about time it wasn't just mages and locks up top. I would say the bottom 5 specs need a buff they're too low behind even the other average dps.

Honestly pissing me off that I can play my class perfectly (shadow priest) on burst, and 2 unholy dk's just mashing buttons and not knowing fights whatsoever are leagues ahead of my dps. Like wtf. It's not a gripe that I need to be #1, it's a gripe about overturning a class. It's broken easy

What do you mean they screwed up? Hybrid classes are not supposed to do dmg? This isn't classic.

I don't like the fact that unholy dks can spam a button with no target restriction and get top dps on every boss :)) this unbalanced and very very sad making other classes look very low, or a druid that presses 2 buttons the whole encounter and does more dps than majority of the raid.

Nerf the unholy dk, it's very sad and it makes me feel like there is no reason to play anymore.

I'll never understand how glass cannons can get out-dpsed in raids by other classes. Isn't that literally what the classes are designed to do?

There haven't been true glass cannons since TBC, Imo. Every class has niche utility (Mage has VERY powerful burst survival tools in Ice Block, Barriers, Shimmer, etc, Warlocks have self-heal and pets, etc). DPS is more just "what spec has had their numbers increased" rather than "what class has the least utility" lol.

I love how in the imagine Havoc DH isn't even on it xD They are just beyond useless now which upsets me considering thats my main class 😞 Every class has at least 1 good performing spec but being that DH only has the 1 spec kinda makes it hard to shift up the playstyle

What a suprise, Havocs DH aren't in the chart? How's that possible?!

Uh, they're in all the charts? the header image is just for aesthetics, we have to cut it off.

We have a lot more changes coming in to Remix today, starting with cloak thread rewards being added to most repeatable activities! Then there's the announced tuning for enemy damage and HP, gems and more, as well as some additional class adjustments over in Cataclysm Classic
      May 21 (Source)
      WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria
We have made the following changes to improve Thread of Time gain for the Cloak of Infinite Potential. Our goal with these additional items is to give players access to more Threads of Time from daily repeatable sources. These should serve as readily attainable power-ups from a wide variety of content, so players can enjoy the breadth of Pandaria while also gaining additional power. There are four new items that grant players escalating amounts of power for the Cloak of Infinite Potential: Minor Spool of Eternal Thread Lesser Spool of Eternal Thread Spool of Eternal Thread Greater Spool of Eternal Thread Players will be able to find these new items from a variety of solo and group sources, ensuring all players have accessible ways to improve their cloak: Infinite Bazaar Repeatable Dailies First-Time Daily Scenario, Dungeon, and each LFR queue World Bosses Remix Achievements Each of these achievements are available for additional characters to complete as well for bonus Bronze - and now bonus Spools of Eternal Thread. Troves of the Thunder King scenario on the Isle of Thunder We’ve made the following changes and bugfixes are intended to address concerns about the balance of low- and high-level players in various Remix content. The health of creatures in heroic scenarios has been decreased by 20% - 25%, based on the players’ levels. Higher level players will see enemies incur a larger decrease. The health and damage of creatures on the Timeless Isle, Isle of Giants, and Isle of Thunder has been reduced. Several spell gems (that were not scaling up or down correctly based on player level) have been adjusted so that they provide a more-appropriate scaling effect. This includes Cold Front, Windweaver, Vampiric Aura, and Lightning Rod. Spell gems with shielding effects should no longer cause threat. Fixed a bug with Righteous Frenzy not canceling upon the end of combat. Timerunner’s Vial mana regen significantly increased. Adjusted the reputation granted from Granite Quilen to be more in line with expected values. Fixed an issue in Guo-Lai Halls causing trap tiles to flicker.
      Cataclysm Classic
Players experiencing phasing issues from Wrathgate or Battle for Undercity quests that are deprecated in Cataclysm Classic should now be in the correct phase in Orgrimmar and Undercity. Hunter Hunter traps are now faster and more consistent in their arming times. Shaman Fixed an issue with Shaman Greater Fire Elemental dealing too much damage with its Fire Nova spell. Warrior Fixed an issue preventing Slam from being logged properly in the combat log.

Blizzard's latest Feral Druid updates in the War Within Alpha add Omen of Clarity's Clearcasting buff to the personal resource bar and remove icon highlights for certain abilities to reduce visual noise, while also addressing duplicate ability icons.
Omen of Clarity's Clearcasting buff has been added to the personal resource bar. Icon highlight has been removed for Shred, Swipe, and Thrash to reduce visual noise. Blizzard will review icon duplicates because they don't want Ravage to share an icon with Bloodtalons, and similar. (Source)
      Hello Feral Druids,
As part of a clarity pass, we’re adding Omen of Clarity’s Clearcasting buff to the personal resource bar and removing the icon highlights it puts on Shred, Swipe, and Thrash. This is an experiment to reduce the visual noise on Feral’s action bars - the highlights can be active frequently, lighting up a significant section of your action bar, and the vine overlay graphics provide the same information.
We’re open to feedback on how this change affects your play.
We’re also reviewing ability icons to eliminate duplicates, such as swapping the Ravage and Dreadful Wound icons so Ravage doesn’t share an icon with Bloodtalons.
You will find a complete list of Druid changes taken from the development notes below.

DRUID Balance Orbital Strike has temporarily had its line-targeting reticle disabled. Feral Cat Form no longer increases the range of auto-attacks and melee abilities by 3 yards. Omen of Clarity Clearcasting aura added to the personal resource bar. Omen of Clarity Clearcasting aura no longer highlights the spell icons for Shred, Swipe, and Thrash.

The Death Knight class and Unholy trees have seen some notable updates in this week's Alpha build and we're looking at them in more detail.
      Class Tree
Blizzard added a new talent called "Unyielding Will" that removes harmful magic effects when activated. Blood Draw moved to third gate. Mind Freeze and Coldthirst are now optional. Icebound Fortitude moved to Frost starting position. Unholy Tree
The layout has been updated for better flow; left side is disease-focused and the right side is pet-focused. Unholy Assault and Festermight swapped with Morbidity and Superstrain. Sudden Doom changes to ease Runic Power overflow. Upcoming Changes
Blizzard teased changes to Blood to address Abomination Limb. Fixes for the Arctic Assault Frost talent are also in the works. Community Manager Kaivax explains the latest Death Knight changes in the blue post below.
      (Source)
      Hello again Death Knights!
Today’s new alpha build has some further updates to the Class and Unholy trees, mostly as it relates to their respective layouts. We heard plenty of feedback on how the Class tree fell short in some of our stated goals especially in the latter half of the tree. To address this, we’ve split out the newest choice node into individual nodes at the capstone level and added a new talent Unyielding Will that removes harmful magic effects when activated.
Blood Draw is no longer at the capstone level and has moved to an optional location in the 3rd gate. We’ve also reduced the ranks of Osmosis, Subduing Grasp, and Runic Protection which feels more appropriate for their effects. We’ve also restructured talents throughout the 3rd gate of the tree to something that should feel better to navigate in addition to the latter talent half restructure we’ve done some updates to the pathing in the 1st gate.
Mind Freeze and its follow up talent Coldthirst are now available on the left side of the tree and are completely optional based on your talent preference. To accomplish this, we shifted Icebound Fortitude to the starting position for Frost. We hope this latest round of updates feels much less restrictive and generally more exciting to navigate. Thank you for all the class tree feedback and we look forward to hearing your feedback on the lates revision.
Unholy’s talent tree changes were a little smaller in scope, but we aimed to address the primary concerns for the natural flow of the tree and some choices feeling at odds with each other and what your build is asking you to do. The general idea of the changes shifted the left side of the tree to be more “disease focused” and the right side “pet focused” while the middle has choices that are appealing to both types of builds. The biggest shift you will notice is the movement of Unholy Assault and Festermight functionally swapping locations with Morbidity and Superstrain.
Ruptured Viscera has moved to the right side of the tree and is less of a “gating” talent pick for something that should feel more optional. Lastly, this build has a functionality change for Sudden Doom to help address a few of the problems with the most recent changes as it pertains to Runic Power overflow and Festering Wound generation. Sudden Doom will now reduce the cost of your next Death Coil/Epidemic by 10 Runic Power (was free).
We tested removing the Runic Power cost reduction completely but found that it was easy to become starved outside of cooldowns leading to some higher than desired downtime. What is also nice about this change is it gives us a better tuning hook for future balancing of resources if we find the amount to be too little or too much. The second part of this change is a bit experimental in nature, but Sudden Doom will now make your next Death Coil/Epidemic burst a Festering Wound. Internally with testing we have found it creates a natural cadence in which you want to press Festering Strike instead of relying only on passive wound applicators.
The other perk of Death Coil bursting a Festering Wound when consuming Sudden Doom is it helps ease the friction of what to press during your cooldowns. This has created a little additional complexity in your rotation outside of cooldowns as it can require you to pre-plan a little more when Apocalypse is coming off cooldown. That said, we’ve been playing with it and while it does require a bit of forethought during your rotation the tension hasn’t felt negatively impactful. We are very eager to hear your thoughts on this change when you have a chance to play it in game.
Our next round of Blood changes didn’t make this build, but we would like to address the concerns over Abomination Limb and it no longer generating Boneshield charges as the last round of changes heavily impacted Blood more so than the other specs. With the update to Bloods talents, we are looking at ways to compensate the change to Abomination Limb to ease the loss of Boneshield charges on pull.
We are also aware of an issue with Frost’s newest talent Arctic Assault generating Runic Empowerment which is not intended and will be fixed in an upcoming build.
Thank you for all your continued feedback and we will see you next week for an additional round of updates.
Blizzard highlighted the Death Knight changes in the development notes. We'll be exploring them in more details in the days ahead.

DEATH KNIGHT New Talent: Unyielding Will – Anti-Magic Shell’s cooldown is increased by 20 seconds and it now also removes all harmful magic effects when activated. Now a capstone talent available after Rune Mastery and Subduing Grasp. The class tree has had further adjustments in talent locations and pathing updates. Osmosis healing received while Anti-Magic Shell is active is increased by 15%. Now a 1-point talent (was 2). Runic Protection armor increased to 6% (was 3%). Now a 1-point talent (was 2). Blood Draw cooldown reduced to 2 minutes (was 3 minutes). Blood Draw is no longer a capstone and is now available in Death’s Echo old location. Icebound Fortitude is now the first available talent on the left of the tree replacing Mind Freeze. Runic Attenuation is now available directly after Icebound Fortitude. Death’s Echo now a capstone ability available after Will of the Necropolis and Subduing Grasp. Subduing Grasp now reduces damage by 6% for 6 seconds when you pull an enemy (was 8% at rank 2). Now a 1-point talent (was 2). Vestigial Shell no longer a choice node with Null Magic and is available in the right capstone space. Null Magic no longer a choice node with Vestigial Shell and is available in the left capstone space. Unholy Sudden Doom now reduces the cost of your next Death Coil/Epidemic by 10 (was free). Developers’ notes: With the update to Sudden Doom’s proc rate it further flooded Unholy with Runic Power and you weren’t able to spend the RP down fast enough in a lot of scenarios to prevent overcapping. This next iteration we are going to try a reduced cost Death Coil or Epidemic to help combat the problem of Runic Power overcapping. Internally we tested this as a full removal of the cost reduction but it left quite a bit of downtime in the rotation and felt particularly bad outside of cooldowns. A 10 Runic Power cost reduction felt reasonably well both inside and outside of cooldowns. Sudden Doom now also causes your next Death Coil/Epidemic to burst a Festering Wound. Developers’ notes: We are looking into ways to increase the frequency you apply Festering Wound with Festering Strike so we are exploring having a Runic Power spender burst a wound instead of only rune spenders or Apocalypse. Internally with testing we have found it creates a natural cadence in which you want to press Festering Strike instead of relying only on passive wound applicators. The other perk of Death Coil bursting a Festering Wound when consuming Sudden Doom is it helps ease the friction of what to press during your cooldowns. Updated the spec tree with a few additional talent re-locations. Notable movements are: Superstrain and Morbidity now located on the left side of the tree directly after Death Rot. Unholy Assault and Festermight are now located in the middle of the tree after Army of the Dead. Eternal Agony is now available after Dark Transformation. Frost Fixed an issue with Absolute Zero being available prior to the 3rd gate being unlocked.

This week's War Within Alpha build increases the number of talent loadouts that can be saved per character to 40 and we have a ton of class changes!
      (Source)
We have the following changes and updates in today’s new build of The War Within Alpha:
      CLASSES
The number of talent loadouts that can be saved on a per character basis to has been increased to 40 (was 10). We are removing increased melee range talents across the game, such as Astral Influence and Acrobatic Strikes. Default melee range has increased since these talents were originally created, so they now allow specs to attack from well outside where it appears they should be able to. They make the melee experience inconsistent across classes in a way we’re not happy with, so we’re removing them. ROGUE Deathstalker (Assassination/Subtlety) Hero Talents are now available for testing. The harbingers of death, Deathstalkers strike from the shadows to bring a swift end to their targets. Unholy Assault and Festermight are now located in the middle of the tree after Army of the Dead. Eternal Agony is now available after Dark Transformation. Frost Fixed an issue with Absolute Zero being available prior to the 3rd gate being unlocked. EVOKER Deep Breath, Landslide, and Breath of Eons temporarily have their line-targeting reticle disabled while we work on an issue with it causing a crash. Lifecinders now upgrades Renewing Blaze to allow 1 friendly target. If no target is selected, it will find a nearby injured ally. Chronowarden Preservation Instability Matrix reduces empower spell cooldown by up to 6 seconds (was 10 seconds). Flameshaper Fan the Flames has been adjusted – Instead of extending Enkindle, it now adds 100% more damage or healing into the periodic effect. In addition, the tooltip now clarifies that it affects all active Enkindles. Traveling Flame now extends Dream Breath or Fire Breath by 8 seconds, and causes it to spread to a nearby target (was causes it to spread, or refreshes if no valid targets were present). Consume Flame now consumes 4 seconds of your Fire Breath or Dream Breath (was 8 seconds). Amount of healing or damage is now equal to 300% of that, and now scales with Haste. Devastation Developers’ notes: The goal of these changes is primarily to increase the viability of the left side of the Devastation tree. We hope this can allow Devastation to be more flexible in their talent choices and have options to build around Firestorm if they wish. Firestorm radius increased to 10 yards (was 8). Firestorm’s tick rate now increases with Haste. New Talent: Scorching Embers – Enemies take 20% increased damage from your Red spells while affected by Fire Breath. Feed the Flames has been redesigned – Now causes enemies to take 20% more damage from Pyre and Disintegrate if they are inside your Firestorm. Snapfire has been slightly redesigned – Now grants a free cast of Firestorm that does not trigger the cooldown. It now also triggers from Pyre instead of Living Flame. Developers’ notes: The free cast of Firestorm that does not trigger the cooldown is so the Snapfire proc will be full value even if Firestorm wasn’t on cooldown. Imminent Destruction now also increases Disintegrate and Pyre damage by 10%, and lasts 12 seconds (was 10 seconds). Imminent Destruction has swapped places with Feed the Flames in the talent tree. Honed Aggression now increases Azure Strike and Living Flame damage by 10% per point (was 5%). The following talents have been removed: Everburning Flame Raging Inferno MAGE Arcane Energized Familiar now fires 4 bolts during Arcane Surge (was Time Warp or other similar effects). Wizened Wit decreases Arcane Blast cast time by 5% (was 10%). Mana Adept and Slipstream have swapped places. Clearcasting’s chance to trigger is no longer tied to mana spent, and now has a 10% chance of triggering when casting any damaging spell. You can no longer trigger Clearcasting by casting damaging spells while out of combat. Evocation now grants one stack of Clearcasting. Siphon Storm duration has been reduced to 20 seconds (was 30 seconds). Arcane Battery removed. Developers’ notes: We appreciate everyone’s feedback on the frustration centered around Arcane Battery, and have opted to replace it with Arcane Debilitation. Arcane Debilitation is meant to meaningfully integrate with existing Arcane Missiles effects across the tree in an exciting way with minimal headspace requirements. We will be sensitive to any degenerate optimizations that need to be done to maximize this talent’s effectiveness. New Talent: Arcane Debilitation – Damaging a target with Arcane Missiles applies Arcane Debilitation, increasing their damage taken from your Arcane Missiles, Arcane Barrage, and Arcane Blast by 0.5%/1% for 6 seconds. New stacks do not refresh duration. Time Loop has been redesigned – When you apply a stack of Arcane Debilitation, you have a 10% chance to apply another stack of Arcane Debilitation. This effect can trigger off of itself. Aether Attunement has been redesigned – Consuming Clearcasting has a 15% chance to grant you Aether Attunement, causing your next Arcane Missiles to deal 150% increased damage to your primary target and fires at up to 4 nearby enemies dealing 100% increased damage. Aether Attunement is now tracked on the personal resource display. Arcane Debilitation is now tracked on enemy nameplates. Leydrinker has been redesigned – Consuming Nether Precision has a 15% chance to make your next Arcane Blast or Arcane Barrage echo, repeating its damage at 25% effectiveness to the primary target and up to four nearby enemies. Leydrinker visuals have been updated. New Talent: Surging Urge – Arcane Surge damage increased by 5% per Arcane Charge. Nether Munitions damage amplification reduced to 6% (was 8%). Fire Alexstrasza’s Fury is no longer a choice node with From the Ashes Quickflame’s Flamestrike damage bonus reduced to 20% (was 25%). Charring Embers moved to Gate 2. Charring Embers now increases the damage you deal to affected targets by 4% (was 6%). From the Ashes has been redesigned – Your direct damage spells to targets affected by Charring Embers reduce the cooldown of Phoenix Flames by 1 second. Deep Impact has been redesigned – Meteor now turns one target hit into a Living Bomb. Additionally, its cooldown is reduced by 15 seconds. Phoenix Reborn no longer requires enemies to be under the effects of Charring Embers. Inflame has returned and is now in Gate 3. Focused Fury has been removed. Developers’ notes: Convection and Focused Fury were intended to be flex talents to help you get a bit more single target damage while in an AOE build. However, the combination of these two talents were making Living Bomb so powerful in single target that it was overshadowing spells like Pyroblast. We don’t have a problem with Living Bomb being present in single target builds, but it shouldn’t be one of your highest damage contributors. Given the design of Focused Fury, it stands very opposed to this principle, and thus we opted to remove it. Convection is now located where Focused Fury was. Wildfire has been removed. MONK Conduit of the Celestials Strength of the Ox now additionally refunds 2 stacks of Teachings of the Monastery after being consumed for Windwalker Monks. Flight of the Red Crane now grants 1 stack of Mana Tea for Mistweaver Monk and 20% increased energy regeneration for Windwalker Monks for 6 seconds when activated. Heart of the Jade Serpent now activates from Strike of the Windlord for Windwalker Monks (was Storm, Earth, and Fire). Developers’ notes: Heart of the Jade Serpent’s activation rate would outpace Storm, Earth, and Fire’s recharge rate eventually leading to wasted procs. Brewmaster Removed Improved Celestial Brew. Functionality is now baseline for Brewmaster Monks. Removed Improved Purifying Brew. Functionality is now baseline for Brewmaster Monks. Elusive Footwork is now 1-point. Positions adjusted for Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox, Walk with the Ox, and Improved Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox. Mistweaver New Talent: Pool of Mists – Renewing Mist now has 3 charges and reduces the remaining cooldown of Rising Sun Kick by 1 second. Rising Sun Kick now reduces the remaining cooldown of Renewing Mist by 1 second. Teachings of the Monastery is now a baseline effect. Known Issue: Swapping from Windwalker specialization with Teachings of the Monastery talented to Mistweaver disables Teachings of the Monastery. Relogging or swapping to Brewmaster temporarily resolves this while we work on a fix. Refreshing Jade Wind has been redesigned – Thunder Focus Tea summons a whirling tornado around you, causing healing over 8 seconds to up to 5 allies within 10 yards. Yu’lon’s Whisper has been redesigned – While channeling Mana Tea you exhale the breath of Yu’lon, healing up to 5 allies within 15 yards every 0.5 seconds. Chi Harmony has been redesigned – Renewing Mist increases its target’s healing received from you by 50% for the first 8 seconds of its duration, but cannot jump to a new target during this time. Developers’ notes: We’re making an adjustment to Chi Harmony to cut down on the amount of active auras on frames now that it’s here to stay as a talent. Renewing Mist will have a new icon indicating when its Chi Harmony healing increase is active and it will swap back to its original icon when Chi Harmony’s window ends. We’d love to hear feedback on this as we’d like the redesign to have as minimal impact as possible and mostly be focused on quality of life and long-term sustainability. Crane Style has moved to Teachings of the Monastery’s previous location. Misty Peaks now has a 4/8% chance to activate and now extends Enveloping Mist on targets if Enveloping Mist is present (previously would not proc). Windwalker New Talent: Jadefire Fists – At the end of your Fists of Fury channel, you release a Jadefire Stomp. This can occur once every 20 seconds. Shares a choice node with Jadefire Stomp. Developers’ notes: This talent is not yet implemented into the Alpha, but we want your early feedback. Let us know what you think! PALADIN Crusader’s Reprieve has been removed. Touch of Light has been moved to Crusader’s Reprieve’s position. Incandescence now functions with Divine Hammer for Retribution. PRIEST Shadow Shadow Crash now is a choice node with a new talent: Void Crash – Hurl a bolt of slow-moving Void energy at your target, dealing Shadow damage to all enemies within 8 yards. Shadow Crash’s tooltip has been updated to specify that it is aimed at a location, to make it more clear the differences between each choice. ROGUE Fatebound Deal Fate now specifies it generates exactly 1 combo point per use of any listed ability. Deal Fate’s effect now includes Ambush for Assassination, and also for Outlaw while Hidden Opportunity is talented. Assassination Venom Rush removed. New Talent: Sanguine Stratagem – Gain 1 additional max combo point. Your finishing moves that consume 5 or more combo points have increased effects, and your finishing moves deal 5% increased damage. Outlaw Blade Flurry radius increased to 8 yards (was melee range). WARLOCK Demonology The size of Gloomhound and Charhound has been decreased by 20%. Destruction The cooldown of Summon Infernal is now 2 minutes (was 3 minutes). New Talent: Indiscriminate Flames – Backdraft increases the damage of your next Chaos Bolt by 5% or increases the critical strike chance of your next Incinerate or Soul Fire by 35%. New Talent: Blistering Atrophy – Increases the damage of Shadowburn by 20%. Shadowburn always critically strikes a target that is at or below 30% health. New Talent: Fiendish Cruelty – When Shadowburn fails to kill a target that is at or below 30% health, its cooldown is reduced by 5 seconds. New Talent: Demonfire Mastery – Increases the damage of Channel Demonfire by 30% and it deals damage 35% faster. New Talent: Improved Chaos Bolt – Increases the damage of Chaos Bolt by 10% and reduces its cast time by 0.5 seconds. New Talent: Avatar of Destruction – Consuming Ritual of Ruin summons an Overfiend for 8 seconds. Overfiend generates 1 Soul Shard Fragment every 0.5 seconds and casts Chaos Bolt at its summoner’s target, dealing Chaos damage.
