In this article, we're looking at the Valor caps and sources in Patch 9.0.5.

Valor

  • A new Patch 9.0.5 currency used to increase the power of items from Mythic dungeons. All items have 12 upgrade ranks.

Weekly / Total Maximum Valor Caps

  • The Weekly Maximum of Valor you can earn is 750.
  • The Total Maximum of Valor you can hold is 1,500.

Valor Sources

You will receive Valor from Callings and completing Mythic Dungeons.

  • Rare Callings award 35 Valor.
  • Epic Callings give 50 Valor.
  • Completing a Mythic Dungeon grants you 135 Valor.

With 135 from a mythic dungeon and 750 cap a week, I'm curious now how much an upgrade will cost. People might not be able to run mythic zeros to farm the pieces and upgrade them that far with that low of a cap. Should still fix the future problem for season 2 and 9.1 though.

Currently its's 250 an Upgrade, so 3 Upgrades a week.

This is incorrect.

Upgrades go from 250 on things like Bracers up to 1000 for 2H weapons.

That seems a bit steep for the 2H weapons are the 1H weapons 500 or so?

Is that a "one price, max upgrade"? Like takes a 184 to a 220 if you have the achievement? Or is it that cost per "teir" of upgrade like the PVP gear is, meaning to go from base to max takes 5+ upgrades.

I actually can't find any information about this that is Official, the WoWHead Post about it the Author specifically says they are Speculating on this.

      If you plan on buying the physical War Within Collector's Edition and live in Europe, you're going to have a bad time!
      Blizzard has ceased distributing WoW Collector's Editions through retailers with the release of Dragonflight, making the Blizzard Store the only place to buy them. However, the shipping costs could be a dealbreaker for many collectors eager to acquire the latest edition for the upcoming expansion.
      Reddit user katamai from Serbia posted a screenshot of their order, revealing that the shipping fees exceed the cost of the box itself—280 Euros for shipping compared to 200 Euros for the box, totaling 480 Euros.

      Additionally, Emi, a follower on our Facebook page, reported a shipping cost of 99 Euros to Romania, nearly ten times what it costs to ship to the UK.

      A practical workaround might be to order the Collector's Edition to a UK address and then use a shipping service to forward it to your address in Europe, potentially saving a considerable amount of money.
