wow The Mystery of the Cheetah in Spires of Ascension

Patch 9.0.5 brought a new addition and some mystery to the Spires of Ascension dungeon, as players have been baffled by a random non-aggro Druid travel form cheetah just constantly falling/throwing itself off a ledge!

Spotted by many players, the mob is just standing there and occasionally jumps off the ledge and gets floated back up. There were some theories as to what this is, but it's looking like it's a reference to a very specific video that went over a skip for the dungeon from about a month ago:

And while it's somewhat strange that Blizzard would put in an easter egg/reference to a not even that popular reddit video, perhaps fixing/trying to fix the skip took so much effort that a dev either angrily put it up for losing so much time or as a tribute to the players ingenuity for finding the skip!

Whatever the case may be, things like this are truly awesome, and even if it was just a mistake where a dev forgot to remove a mob they were testing things with, we hope it stays in there forever, as references to things players do in-game are always great and make the game feel much more alive.
