The past week has been one of the more hectic ones for Mythic+, with the new patch bringing tuning changes and the new Valor point system also bringing a lot of chaos in. With everyone farming Valor and re-farming the base items to upgrade, low keys and +15s became extremely sought after, for easy points farm, KSM and the base 210 items. And so despite the week having unfavorable affixes, there was still a LOT of runs happening, so let's take a look at the rankings!

Note: The logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We'll also be switching back to the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity.

It seems the patch changes really didn't have a chance to affect the Mythic+ meta yet, with so many runs being done, as the rankings are shockingly similar to those from 2 weeks ago, with the top 10 being literally identical in the 95th percentile. The all percentiles bracket had some changes at least, where Unholy jumped up, Windwalker went down (but not nearly as much as in raids) and Elemental also went up in both brackets. This is also probably due to the rankings not tracking actual DPS, but rather key completion rates, so the changes won't be as apparent quite yet, until a new meta forms.

With patch 9.0.5 having released last week, and the affixes this week being considered some of the worst ones possible (Bolstering, Tyrannical), a lot of people have taken time off of pushing the limits of their Mythic+ groups. Instead, most groups will have ventured into specific dungeons to upgrade their gear, by farming specific trinkets and upgrading them, or capping out their Valor by repeatedly spamming +2 or +3 keystones, as there is no difference in Valor gained between +2 and +20.

The most sought after dungeons in this context are Plaguefall and DoS, as a lot of melee DPS will want to get their hands on a Phial of Putrefaction. Ranged DPS and Tanks will have set up camp in front of the De Other Side, as they are looking towards both the Inscrutable Quantum Device and Blood-Spattered Scale, respectively.

This week's logs thus provide a decent overview of the active playerbase for each spec, especially when looking at lower keys. This sadly also proved to be a bother for a lot of new players as they were struggling to find a spot in these keystones, competing for a DPS or healer slot in +2 keys with ilvl 220+ players. Hopefully most of the farming of these dungeons and key levels will have concluded soon, as the next weeks of affixes seem to be a promising start for people to pick up where they left off before patch 9.0.5 and push themselves and their Mythic+ groups to their limit again.

Tank and Healer Specs

The tanks and healers showcase just how slow the Mythic+ side of things is to move as there is literally no change in the rankings for either of them this week compared to two weeks ago:

High Keys

And now it's on to the high-end, as we take a look at the +15 and +20 all percentile data for DPS roles, where things look a lot different week-to-week every time, as there's much less data to work with. This time around, however, there are a LOT of M+15 logs, with them being almost 50% of the all keys logged for a lot of specs, which is pretty crazy and shows just how many high end players are farming those items in +15s specifically. The +20ies have even lower numbers this time around, as fewer players were pushing, both due to the affixes and the Valor farming.
