Potential World First World Boss Solo Kill: Valinor Falls to a Warlock

Here comes a big one as the first raid boss of the Shadowlands has been soloed! While it's "only" a world boss, it's still a pretty big deal, and seeing Valinor, the Light of Eons fall in Bastion to a lone Warlock is awesome and impressive, and it's most likely a World First as well!

Bliztivision made use of a very powerful buff to enable the kill, with Theotar's Fury Theotar's Fury (Damage taken reduced by 60%; Damage done increased by 150%; Haste increased by 20%) coming from the Venthyr chapter 5 Covenant campaign quest Disloyalty, alongside the Assist Assist ability from the same quest, which calls down Draven to do some damage. It still took quite a few attempts and Bliztivision had to fight through personal mistakes, DCs and the most difficult thing of all - keeping other players from hitting the boss! While there were players that came up and attacked it, Bliztivision would just reset it and start over, with the key move being phasing to the Moonguard server which isn't as populated. In the end there were 6 minutes of no interruptions, after about 3 hours of either failed or interrupted attempts.

The closest we've seen to a true raid boss solo is the 3-man Shriekwing and Artificer Xy'mox in Normal Nathria, and considering the buff that was needed to pull this one off it may take a while until the next non World Boss solo appears.

So congratulations to Bliztivision on the very clever use of game mechanics here and on the most likely World First World and even raid boss in general kill!

99% sure it's not a world first, I've seen people solo world bosses since SL came out and I've done it myself with Nurgash.

Is there any video or logs or similar for that? Basically I couldn't find anything so assumed it was the first, and haven't seen any soloing in-game, there's always at least some people that come in and help. I'd assume if someone purposefully went and tried to not get any help like this guy did they'd announce it somewhere.

      Here's how you can upgrade your legendary weapons in Dragonflight Season 4 next week!
      This one is for Fyr'alath and Nasz'uro owners. You must first farm 2 Antique Bronze Bullions. However, you can only acquire 1 Antique Bronze Bullion per week from Awakened Raid bosses. The bullion will drop in Raid Finder difficulty too.
      Next week, the cap will be raised to 2 and a catch-up method will be implemented, so players who didn't have the chance to get their first bullion can get it from the weekly quest in Valdrakken.
      Anyway, the soonest you can upgrade your legendary to the base item level of 502 is during the week of April 30th (so next week).
      Once you have 2 Antique Bronze Bullions, head to the Parting Glass in Valdrakken.

      Evokers need to buy Scale of Awakening from Iszinormi for 2 Antique Bronze Bullions. Death Knights, Paladins, and Warriors need to buy Scale of Awakening from Iszinormi for  2 Antique Bronze Bullions. Once purchased, use the consumable to upgrade your legendary to item level 502, the base item level for Season 4.
      After that, you can further upgrade your legendary using Flightstones and crests. Check out our gear upgrading guide for more info!

      Cache of Timewarped Treasures obtained from Black Temple Timewalking quest this week has a chance to contain Ashes of Al'ar!
      Don't forget to complete this week's Timewalking raid! If you're having trouble getting into a group, create your own one, invite 2 tanks 4-5 healers and around 14 DPS and you are all set! Visit Shattrath, and talk to the Timewalking NPC to queue up for the raid.
      The raid is extremely easy to compete and what's more, you get item level 493 loot along your way.
      Upon defeating Illidan Stormrage and completing the quest, you will receive Cache of Timewarped Treasures that has an increased chance of containing Ashes of Al'ar or another piece of gear.
      Demon Hunters shouldn't forget to get their warglaives transmog arsenal from Illidan and the reputation buff will help you add a couple of mounts to your collection!
