wow Shadowlands 9.0.5 Mythic+ DPS Log Rankings and Analysis: Week 5

Here comes week 5 of Mythic+ in patch 9.0.5 and it's a very stable one! We have some fluctuations but generally things are staying in place as the meta seems to have solidified, and with 9.1 on the PTR, this may be the final form for the next couple of months until the new patch arrives!

Then we're on to the logs with this note: The logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We'll also be switching back to the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity.

The first change we see at the top in the 95th percentile is Affliction swapping places with Elemental in 7th place, as Arcane also jumps past Survival lower down, and Frost DK drops a couple spots. Feral and Beast Master moved past Demonology near the bottom, and Retribution and Arms remain in the final two spots.

In the all percentiles bracket, Fury has dropped quite a bit, with both Unholy and Affliction moving past it. The two weaker Hunter specs have basically swapped spaces with the two weaker Warlock ones, now sandwiching poor Frost DKs.

High Keys

In the perhaps more important rankings, the 15 keys, we see Marksmanship dropping rapidly, as its lost 4 spots since last week, joining Survival near top-mid pack. Havok took this opportunity and also moved past Elemental, as is looking pretty good in the higher keys. The two lesser Mage specs also jumped up a lot from their lowly spots last week, as the rest remained more or less the same.

+20ies completely changed week-over-week, which is how it goes in the crazy world of very high keys, and a brand new champion arrived, as Arcane kicked Subtlety out of the top spot SO hard it went down into the LAST spot! This fact pretty much explains why the below rankings are more for fun and don't really mean much, when the No.1 spec one week can be at the bottom without any nerfs or big changes. But hey, it's fun to look at!
