The Sad Reality of Yak and Brutosaur Owners and the Weird Messages They Get

Recommended Posts

Wait what?

Let's say you have a mobile phone with hotspot turned on so you could use your wireless headphones or whatever. (yeah bluetooth blabla i'm trying to make a point) Now you're walking through the street going about your business. Then someones runs after you, and is a complete *filtered* about trying to use your wifi hotspot while you are moving away from them. Would you be like "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know someone was using it because I was too stupid to look around in my phone for other people who are using it. Of course I will stay around until you have finished your business." ?

If not, hypocrite much?

If so, I think people like you are the reason for the wave of entitlement we have to live with now.

Your comparison is a bit of a stretch, but even if they were as similar as you conjure them to be in your mind there is one major difference - WoW is a game.  There are lots of social interactions and various activities that happen in WoW that are beyond the expectation of what happens in 'real life'.  For some, especially the younger generation (but absolutely not limited to or exclusive to them), these kinds of interactions are more obscure being that a large part of their social interaction has been largely confined to cyberspace and not with a person face-to-face.  Naturally they will defend this because they don't know anything different.

Ultimately, I think you missed the overall point of my previous reply.  Both of them could have handled it differently.

The brutosaur owner handled it poorly I agree, he should have called him a c*unt and ignored him.
People who want free things are the scum of the earth.

Interactions like this is one of the reasons (albeit a minor one compared to the major issues with Shadowlands) that caused me to quit WoW.  There is nothing like getting death threats in game cause you want to actually play and not sit around on a mount.

honestly, you got a bruto or yak, great for you.  I myself never saw the use in spending that kind of gold in game and I never use folks with these types of mounts anyway.

As far as this story - seems both people were throwing fuel on the fire, even though the yak owner had every right to do as he pleases and honestly, doesn't seem to be blocking anything.   And it would be something if Blizzard instead of taking the gold that these passengers make for themselves, gave the gold to the owner of the passenger mount.  That looks to be a win-win for everyone.

Executive Producer Holly Longdale teased some upcoming experimental PvE-focused content that Blizzard will soon reveal to the community.
It appears that Plunderstorm isn't the only new mode Blizzard plans to add to WoW this year.
Holly Longdale today teased an upcoming PvE-oriented event that will soon be revealed to us. Holly might be talking about the "Timerunning Pandamonium," expected in Patch 10.2.7.

      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. It will be exciting to see some of the community content creators going head-to-head as duos during the Plunderstorm Creator Royale on March 30!  This isn’t the end of the things we want to try in World of Warcraft, however, and we have more in store we can’t wait to show you.
Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
      Holly Longdale

We've looked at the Mythic+ Tier List for the first time in Patch 10.2.6!
      DISCLAIMER
The following post is based on data from U.GG. Therefore, the data presented here may differ from Petko's Mythic Tier Lists maintained on our site.

The tier list of each spec is determined by its effectiveness and prevalence at the highest levels of Mythic+ play.
