Sylvanas Doesn't Lose Under 50%, Echo Have Pushed Past It!

Recommended Posts

Update: here's the entirety of day 6 summarized, including Limit catching up (but not entirely) and more.

Well there we have it! The Sylvanas boss fight does NOT end at 50%, as was theorized earlier, as Echo have managed to get her down to a crazy 49.57%!

It seems that the info about the Sylvanas Sylvanas aura was correct:

A few things to note with this realization:

  • Echo (or anyone) is most likely not going to be able to down her before the reset due to basically having played perfectly and there not being that much room to do better due to the enrage that killed them.
  • This MIGHT mean that the reset will play a crucial role, as gear levels and damage output is the key now, and considering the US reset comes up 16 hours earlier... we might have another bad conversation on our hands.

Personally I'm pretty happy that the raid will not be cleared in only 5-6 days, but if it does come down to the reset gear up that would also be pretty bad for the race. The only thing left to do is wait and see...

Just curious, as an alternative to the weekly gear reset, isn't there plenty of gear to be had (albeit a bit painfully) with 5-man mythic+ groups?     Seems like at their skill level, running a 15 5-man with all leather wearers to feed a rogue 236 gear would be fairly easy, and more impactful now than heroic gear he could get next week with only a small ilevel difference.

Basically all of them already outgear those items, as it's not really all about item level this time around. and getting the perfect item would take too much time.

Currently, on the Dragonflight Beta, you won't reach Level 70 just by completing the campaign. You also need to run dungeons or complete side quests.
The first gating occurs in Azure Span where you need to be Level 66 to continue the Dragonflight campaign. However, you will be safe if you complete at least 3 dungeons at Level 60 and higher and you won't need to complete any side quests.
The second gating, however, is more noticeable and you will need to reach Level 70 to be able to start the final two chapters of the Dragonflight campaign.

Dragonflight includes a ton of side quests that you can easily find by opening the map for each zone and they reward you with reputation that increases your Renown with the main factions, so you would probably complete them anyway.

What do you think about gating the main campaign behind levels? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

On live servers, the Frog'it World Quest required for "From A to Zereth", is currently available in the US region.
If you've been waiting a long time for the quest to spawn, you can now complete it on live servers, at least in the US region, according to reports.
Completing the quest is required for From A to Zereth, and ultimately, the Back from the Beyond meta-achievement that will be removed from the game soon.
From A to Zereth rewards the Cryptic Aurelid mount.
