Armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/bleeding-hollow/Xianguah/advanced

Log: http://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/PjL6HVZ8JrMmWgvp#fight=10

Is there I anything I can do to improve at the moment? I know my hit is way too high but I've had bad luck with drops.

Also, if you can't line them up, is it better to use a potion during Avenging wrath or Guardian of Ancient Kings?

From what I see, your ES usage is low, and your SW uptime is low as well, you should generally be using AW on CD, and use ES with it (since you don't have ENG you'll use ES a lot less than I would). It also seems you used ES a bit early before your GoAK reached max stacks at the pull. I'm also not seeing any use of Divine Protection at all (and keep in mind I'm just looking at malk right now.

You could use a bit more work on keeping inquisition up the whole fight, I'd suggest a WA for it to track (I have a few if you need them)

Generally I wait until AW and GoAK line up again, but honestly on normal it doesn't make a big deal since you kill things so quickly just use it when you're comfortable.

As for your gear you're well well over hit cap and a tad under expertise. I can see you really can't help the hit issue, but changing a yellow gem to wicked could help. You're also a bit over the 17k haste point which a bit could go into mastery.

Looking at your other fights I'd say try to macro DP into something, it's not bad to use it as much as possible especially on normal (basically rolling it on CD)

I THINK that's basically it? This is my first time really attempting to read logs (hybrys tell me how I did!)

Armory:

You definitely need to find gear that doesn't have hit on it, since you're miles over the hit cap.

Auriel says you could use some more mastery rather than all the haste you have, which is where I recommend you switch your 175 haste to boots into 140 mastery + runspeed to boots. The movement speed will help a good amount.

Logs:

Every single one of your fights seem to have very large gaps where you do not use Crusader Strike/Hammer of the Righteous or Judgment at all. You're losing out on a lot of holy power, thus a lot of inquisition uptime and TV hits.

Source: http://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/PjL6HVZ8JrMmWgvp#fight=6&type=casts&source=6

As Auriel mentioned, you rarely used your Tier 6 Talent, which is one of the best CDs you could use, so you have to use that. The priority you should follow is listed in the guide here:

https://www.icy-veins.com/wow/retribution-paladin-pve-dps-rotation-cooldowns-abilities

Along with your Holy Power issues with generating holy power, you also had a few moments where you sat on 5 holy power. It seemed to be during defensive stance or blood frenzy though, but the time you spent at 5 on nazgrim shows you could have used some on an add wave at some point.

As for defensives, in your 7 boss kills you casted:

3 Devotion Auras

0 Hand spells of any kind (LoH excluded)

I think the biggest loss in DPS you are having is keeping to your rotation. Try to perfect that, and you'll see some great changes in numbers as you work to apply the others with it.

I agree with everything above. I would normally make a comment about your choice in profession *cough* herbalism, but with the changes coming WoD it won't matter.

Auriel, what log or logs are you looking at when you say my ES usage is low? In the Malkorok kill I linked I used it 3 times in 2:38.

http://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/PjL6HVZ8JrMmWgvp#fight=10&type=damage-done&source=6&by=source&ability=114916

In all those logs I pretty much cast it on cooldown outside of a few instances, like defensive stance, and during spoils when I switched to Light's Hammer.

Fouton, which large gap in particular are talking about in that nazgrim log?

Am I looking at the right armoury? The one appearing right now makes zero sense, with red strength gems (horribly inefficient at this gear level) in most slots and an abundance of missed socket bonuses where gemming for the bonus would actually give you more of the stat you eschewed the bonus for. Your expertise isn't capped despite having an abundance of red slots with which to do so and you have a reforge of expertise into hit on your chest. Auriel says you have too much haste but on the armoury I'm looking at, you only have 25%. Thing is, you have your 2h weapon equipped so I can only assume this is the set you're using for ret.

Extremely confusing.

http://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/PjL6HVZ8JrMmWgvp#type=auras&source=6&fight=6&ability=84963

There are also some places where your inq is down for about 20s or more like in nazgrim right near the end. also a few other fights.

(this seems to coincide with your lack of CS damage as well in fact on nazgrim specifically there's a point where you're doing very little damage if any at all http://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/PjL6HVZ8JrMmWgvp#type=damage-done&source=6&fight=6&pins=0%24Separate%24%23244F4B%24damage%240%240.0.0.Any%24141601106.0.0.Paladin%24true%240.0.0.Any%24false%241%5E0%24Separate%24%23909049%24damage%240%240.0.0.Any%24141601106.0.0.Paladin%24true%240.0.0.Any%24false%2420271%5E0%24Separate%24%23a04D8A%24damage%240%240.0.0.Any%24141601106.0.0.Paladin%24true%240.0.0.Any%24false%2435395%5E0%24Separate%24%23DF5353%24damage%240%240.0.0.Any%24141601106.0.0.Paladin%24true%240.0.0.Any%24false%24879%5E0%24Separate%24rgb(78%25,+61%25,+43%25)%24damage%240%240.0.0.Any%24141601106.0.0.Paladin%24true%240.0.0.Any%24false%2485256 )

And that's my bad I wasn't really looking at the times, but I stand by the fact that having that much hit is losing a lot of secondary stats and therefore a LOT of dps, no matter what your ilvl is.

@monkey - it looks to me like either a pg or a CM set.

      Hey Everyone,
So i play a Demon Hunter Lvl 120 with iLVL 464.
My DPS in dungeons is just so low compared to everyone else and i dont know why. I was in a M8+ earlier and the ilvl 450 Tank was doing more DPS than I was.
Any tips? Check out my gear/character, i think its all setup right. I went through the Icy Veins Demon Hunter guide and stat priority etc... Got a rotation, but something isnt right. Im always last on DPS even with 440 ilvl players in the group.

      Thanks for reading!

Been playing as 29/11/0 so far, extra crit heals is obviously good for keeping my team alive.

However, I never go OOM, so I want to get some more burst damage. What is the best way to make a hybrid paladin?
Holy shock with spell power? I want to do burst damage when my heals get interrupted, so holy shock might be bad.

7 Prot is the bare minimum for me, Imp Freedom is so strong.
18 Prot is also very strong, extra stuns together with grenades is powerful for BGs.
25 Prot for reckoning might be the best burst damage available, you could even heal with a 2hander. But this requires alot of investment and SETUP.

How good is SoC for a 1hander? Spell power gear? Maybe using Thrash Blade to do melee damage while healing geared.

What kind of gear? Spell power or strength?

<Fun is for Casuals> is a serious but casual horde guild on US-Hyjal. We are serious about raiding without the intense hours. Even when recruitment status is none, we will accept exceptional applications for all classes. For a full list of what we're looking for check out https://funisforcasuals.enjin.com .
Our raid times are Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM server (PST) with raid invitations sent out a few minutes prior to that.

We're interested in you if you fit the following criteria:
Raid attendance is essential. We don't want people sitting on the bench but we also want to make sure we're raiding 6 hours per week. We expect you to be available for at least 90% of our raids. Be on time and prepared for raids. This includes flasks and other consumables. Discord is mandatory and a working mic is desired. You're appropriately geared for our current content. Effort and thought have been put into your gear/gem/enchant choices. You wouldn't show up for a job interview looking like a scrub, why would you apply to a guild with improper gems or some insane spec? You're up to date with your class. We expect our raiders to perform to the best of their abilities. You have a computer that's not run with hamster power or requires a hand crank. Some encounters are taxing on a computer's resources so if your toon can't even handle Orgrimmar it's not likely to do well with 20+ whelps that need AOE'ing.
You may be interested in us because:
<Fun is for Casuals> uses the personal loot system. There is no loot council, or DKP. We won't eat your babies the first time you stand in something you have no business being in. Repeatedly do it and we'll break out the bibs and BBQ sauce. We provide a limited amount of consumables and flasks on hard mode raid nights. Discord isn't a circus during raids. We're focused on the job at hand and you should be too. We don't want someone to miss a an interrupt because they were distracted by fart jokes. We are not interested in you if you fit the following criteria:
You roll on BoE items then sell them. Unwilling/unable to spend an entire evening on one boss during progression. While this is rare, it can happen. Drama queens. If you have a problem bring it up to E. This is his job. Don't announce it in guild chat or during a raid. Your issue will have nothing to do with 99% of the guild. You are 17 or younger. We try to keep guild and discord chat PG-13 but occasionally a few four letter words appear out of nowhere. Additionally, we don't want someone's mom interrupting their raiding to get homework or the dishes done. Follow the instructions at https://funisforcasuals.enjin.com/ under the Recruitment tab if you would like to apply.
If you have any question, feel free to contact E. at DbD#1309

      Hey all,

Not new to hearthstone but haven't been playing constantly and just jumping back in towards the end of July.  I am not sure if there's a better name or configuration for this yet but I've had some good luck with it so far.  If nothing else it's just really fun to play for me.
This deck has no duplicates to take advantage of Zephyrs the Great and Sir. Finley of the Sand.

Never posted a deck before so not sure if this is how of the place but feel free to give me constructive feedback.
