Don't Forget to Sell Your Veiled Augment Runes Around March 8th

Recommended Posts

Patch 9.2 adds a permanent augment rune, so don't forget to get rid of any surplus Veiled Augment Rune Veiled Augment Runes by selling them in the Auction House around the time when Mythic Sepulcher opens to make some gold!

The Enlightened Quartermaster sells Eternal Augment Rune Eternal Augment Rune for 50,000 gold. You can buy the item upon reaching exalted with the faction. As opposed to the Veiled Augment Rune Veiled Augment RuneEternal Augment Rune Eternal Augment Rune does not get consumed on use, which means it stays permanently in your inventory, so raiders will eventually stop buying Veiled Augment Rune Veiled Augment Runes.

Therefore, if you have too many Veiled Augment Rune Veiled Augment Runes that you do not plan to use, we advise you to sell them around March 8 when Mythic Sepulcher opens and there's high demand for them. It will take some time for people to reach exalted and obtain the permanent rune, so you still have enough time to make some gold!

if prices remain the same, with 2 raid days a week, each day 10 runes. i would need 1 year to spend 50k if i attend every raid day. i think its way too much gold for it, especially when you get free runes by your mission table daily.

Yeah. Other than folks who just want the convenience of never needing to acquire them again this really is only realistically a "good" buy for folks who can reasonably expect to die with their groups hundreds of times. Especially since they'll prolly be even cheaper after this is introduced.

Runes will continue to be sold normally around 100g per piece until then end

Wow what realm you are playing on? 😄

On my realm this runes (even if its just a connected realm of like 7 realms) never sold higher than 45 gold. 😄

I still have about 1,2k runes left, all from missiontables of my 16 alt's.

Bit late answer, but didn't see this topic till now: silvermoon eu is still fairly high because of its size, which means there's a lot of serious raiding going on, however it's ally, if you take horde realms of its size such as twisting, they're still around 150, there are a handful of realms as low as 20-30 gold now, I'm also of the belief that if you're not really hardcore and expect to use thousands of runes, especially if you play on realms where they go that low, it's not worth buying the reuseable one.

Oh, also eu median price is around 65-70, which means that about half the realms will be above and the other half under that price. If that is the case, it will take about 700 runes to recover the investment, it's however possible the price of the reuseable one goes down to 40k at exalted.

We have a very Dracthyr-looking piece of concept art from way back pre-Vanilla, as xperio28 spotted a bulkier version of the new race coming in Dragonflight in the Art of World of Warcraft book!
There's been a lot of talk about the look of the Dracthyr, mostly focusing on their size and bulkiness, and while the art below almost certainly isn't of this specific race, as it was made pre-Vanilla WoW, it's looking very similar:

      Source: xperio28.
The text is very hard to make out, but enigmapenguin and YendorWons in the thread may have figured it out, at least partially:
Greater whelp grown to man size will hunt other dragon whelps then larger dragons feed on The whole "feed on" aspect is particularly interesting, as there's plenty of speculation going around on whether or not Galakrond, the OG dragon-eater will have something to do with Dragonflight's story (especially with the potential for the Infinite dragonflight's involvement).
We've have plenty of bipedal dragon-like creatures in WoW over the years so the connection isn't direct, but it is interesting to see how far back the idea of playable-looking dragon race goes, especially since we know the original plan was to have many more playable races, including naga.
