Patch 6.11 was released earlier today, with updates including battle action and trait adjustments, PvP balance changes, and the highly awaited Dragonsong's Reprise (Ultimate)!

It is with great pleasure that we announce the patch notes for Patch 6.11 are live. Be sure to check them out for a comprehensive list of additions and refinements to the game, including the fourth ultimate duty, Dragonsong's Reprise.

* Additional features will be implemented in future updates:
* New custom deliveries, Arkasodara tribal quests, and Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures are scheduled to be released in Patch 6.15.
* The Data Center Travel system is scheduled to be implemented in Patch 6.18.

FINAL FANTASY XIV Patch 6.11

Patch 6.11 contains content that can only be accessed by registering the expansion packs for FINAL FANTASY XIV to your service account. To distinguish between adjustments that are and are not affected by the registration of these expansions, the following notations will be used throughout the patch notes:

Gunbreaker

Gnashing Fang   Potency has been increased from 360 to 380.
Savage Claw   Potency has been increased from 440 to 460.
Wicked Talon   Potency has been increased from 520 to 540.
Jugular Rip   Potency has been increased from 180 to 200.
Abdomen Tear   Potency has been increased from 220 to 240.
Eye Gouge   Potency has been increased from 260 to 280.

Dragoon

Jump   When Jump changes to Mirage Dive, there will now be a small input delay to prevent the unintended execution of Mirage Dive.

Requirements

After completing Asphodelos: The Fourth Circle (Savage), speak with the Wandering Minstrel in Old Sharlayan (X:12.7 Y:14.2) as a level 90 Disciple of War or Magic.

Entering Dragonsong's Reprise (Ultimate)

Dragonsong's Reprise (Ultimate) can only be accessed via the Raid Finder after forming a party of eight players who have all completed Asphodelos: The Fourth Circle (Savage).

Completion Reward

Upon completing Dragonsong's Reprise (Ultimate), players can earn a separate reward once per week. Players who have yet to receive that week's reward can still claim it even if other members of the party have completed the duty prior to the weekly reset.

The reward can be exchanged with Nesvaaz in Radz-at-Han (X:10.6 Y:10.0) for ultimate weapons of the Heavens.

* Reward eligibility is reset every Tuesday at 1:00 a.m. (PDT)

The following adjustments have been made to PvP actions:

Paladin

Action   Adjustment
Holy Sheltron   Reduction to damage taken has been changed from 10% to 20%.
Atonement   Potency has been increased from 6,000 to 8,000.

Warrior

Action   Adjustment
Bloodwhetting   Damage converted into HP has been reduced from 100% to 75%.
Barrier strength has been reduced from 20% to 10% of maximum HP.

Dark Knight

Action   Adjustment
Shadowbringer   Potency has been increased from 4,000 to 6,000.
The Blackest Night   Recast time has been reduced from 20 to 15 seconds.

Gunbreaker

Action   Adjustment
Double Down   Potency has been increased from 10,000 to 12,000.
Rough Divide   The additional effect "Increases movement speed" has been added.
Draw and Junction   The status effects Junction Tank, Junction DPS, and Junction Healer no longer expire upon beng incapacitated.
Relentless Rush   Potency has been increased from 3,000 to 4,000.
Increase to target's damage taken has been changed from 3% to 4%.
Nebula   Effect duration has been increased from 6 to 10 seconds.
Aurora   Potency has been increased from 6,000 to 8,000.

Monk

Freeze   Potency has been increased from 6,000 to 8,000.
Soul Resonance   Effect duration of Polyglot has been increased from 30 to 60 seconds.

Red Mage

Enchanted Riposte   Damage over time potency while under the effect of Black Shift has been reduced from 4,000 to 3,000.

The following issues have been addressed.

  • An issue wherein players could not advance the healer role quest "A New Battleground" under certain conditions.
  • An issue when using the monk PvP action Enlightenment wherein enemies afflicted with the Pressure Point status effect did not take additional damage from the monk who applied it.
  • An issue when multiple bards are in a party wherein the PvE action the Wanderer's Minuet would change to Pitch Perfect when another bard in the party executed the Wanderer's Minuet.
  • An issue wherein execution of the bard PvP action Powerful Shot rendered the user unable to run under certain conditions (PlayStation®4).
  • An issue wherein the description for the machinist PvE action Queen Overdrive was incorrect.
  • An issue wherein the machinist PvP action Wildfire counted the damage over time effect of Bioblaster as attack actions required for detonation.
  • An issue wherein the machinist PvP action Wildfire dealt more damage than intended under certain conditions.
  • An issue during Crystalline Conflict matches wherein certain ground targeted actions were canceled when under the effect of the white mage PvP action Miracle of Nature.
  • An issue wherein the white mage PvP action Cure II had no recast time under certain conditions.
  • An issue wherein the conjurer / white mage PvE action Aero II base potency and damage over time potency were set higher than intended.
  • An issue during Crystalline Conflict matches wherein the Kardia and Kardion effects granted by the sage PvP action Kardia were dispelled when incapacitated.
  • An issue wherein execution of the PvP action Guard together with other damage reducing actions prevented all incoming damage.
  • An issue during Frontline campaigns wherein the increased movement speed effect of certain actions could also be applied when riding a mount.
  • An issue wherein the gunbreaker, dancer, reaper, and sage weapons newly added to the trial the Minstrel's Ballad: Thordan's Reign could not be purchased in exchange for Heavens' Ward Helm Fragments.
  • An issue wherein the secondary attributes of Panthean gear obtained from the alliance raid Aglaia were incorrect.
  • An issue wherein the secondary attributes of augmented classical gear obtained in exchange for crafted item level 580 gear were incorrect.
  • An issue wherein dyeing the head gear Replica Dreadwyrm Barbut of Maiming had no effect on its coloring.
  • An issue when playing as a Viera male wherein the /visor command could not be used when equipping Endless Summer Glasses.
  • An issue when using the market board wherein enabling the Unobtained/Unregistered Only filter, purchasing an item, then viewing the listing for said item displayed an incorrect number of items for sale.

      FFXIV players will be excited to learn that the release date and collector's edition contents for the highly anticipated Dawntrail expansion have been revealed!
      Dawntrail will make its debut with an Early Access period starting on Friday, June 28, 2024, followed by the official release on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

      Another exciting journey awaits fans of Final Fantasy XVI with the upcoming update and second DLC for the game, The Rising Tide. The expansion includes new features, including Jill's narrative, an encounter with the Eikon of Water, and much more.
      The second DLC (downloadable content) of FFXVI, The Rising Tide, is set to release on April 18, 2024, and can already be pre-purchased for $19.99 or as part of a bundle that includes the first DLC, Echoes of the Fallen, for $24.99. Both DLC's are available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store for PS5.
      Now, let's have a look at the awesome trailer for The Rising Tide:
      This DLC will contain the following features:
      A new territory, Mysidia, is located in the northern region, near the area where Jill comes from.  The story of the long-lost Eikon of Water: Leviathan's Tale. Continuation of the intertwined fates of Jill and the Eikon of Ice. New Eikon Abilities. Level Cap increased from 50 to 60, with New Game+ extending from 100 to 110.       Patch 6.58 was released today, March 19th, 2024, and it came with a few updates and adjustments to the game, such as PVP updates, various bug fixes, the Abyssal Fracture (Extreme) moving from Raid Finder to Duty Finder, drop rate modifications for the Lynx mount of the Abyssal Fracture, as well as multiple changes to other duties, and more!

      FINAL FANTASY XIV Patch 6.58
      Patch 6.58 contains content that can only be accessed by registering the expansion packs for FINAL FANTASY XIV to your service account. To distinguish between adjustments that are and are not affected by the registration of these expansions, the following notations will be used throughout the patch notes:

      Starting in Patch 6.5, the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Starter Edition will include the second expansion pack, Stormblood. Accordingly, access to Stormblood will automatically be granted to players who have already registered A Realm Reborn to their service accounts.
      These additions and adjustments require the purchase and registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward, and FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood. These additions and adjustments require the purchase and registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers. These additions and adjustments require the purchase and registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Endwalker. These additions and adjustments contain elements that may require the purchase and registration of the expansion packs noted above.

      The Echo will take effect upon entering Pandæmonium: Anabaseios (Savage) raids, increasing players' maximum HP, damage dealt, and healing potency by 15%.
      * Unlike other instances, the strength of the Echo will not increase in the event all party members are incapacitated.

      The weekly limit on rewards from treasure coffers has been removed. The weekly limit on Thaleia coins has been removed. The item required to enhance equipment purchased with Allagan tomestones of comedy, Divine Solvent, can be purchased from the following vendors:

      Action   Adjustment Holy Sheltron   The barrier effect duration has been reduced from 5 seconds to 4 seconds.
      The barrier potency has been reduced from 12,000 to 8,000.
      The unaspected damage dealt to nearby enemies when the effect expires has been increased from 100% of the remaining barrier potency to 150%.
      The Knight's Resolve effect duration has been reduced from 10 seconds to 8 seconds. Confiteor   Damage potency has been increased from 8,000 to 12,000.       Season Ten will end and Season Eleven will begin.

An issue during the duty Alexander - The Burden of the Son (Savage) wherein the damage of the enemy action Height Error was not downscaled. An issue during the duty of Alexander - The Burden of the Son (Savage) wherein certain actions did not function properly when targeting enemies. An issue in Crystalline Conflict wherein the Crystalline Conflict Map would continue to display even after unchecking "Display Element" in the HUD Layout menu. An issue after completing the seasonal quest "Breaking Brick Mountains" wherein players were unable to repurchase the item Thug's Mug from the recompense officer. Other various issues have also been addressed.


      An issue wherein the description of the paladin PvP action Holy Sheltron does not reflect the adjustments made in Patch 6.58.
      * This is an issue only in the description. The action functions as intended.
