The latest Story in Tales under the New Moon, A Lecagy of Hope, is now available to read online! Discover the latest addition to the series and learn more about Alphinaud, one of our favorite twins.
The fourth and final story installment of Tales under the New Moon, a series of short stories that explore the lives and adventures of various characters from the game, has just released!
This last story of the series is called A Legacy of Hope, and follows Ameliance, our favorite twins’ mother, as she cleans her children’s old room.
As she dusts off the shelves and sorts through the drawers, she finds various items that remind her of Alphinaud and Alisaie’s childhood. The most intriguing discovery is a hidden compartment, containing Alphinaud’s old journal. As a curious mother, she can’t help herself but to take a look into the book, and gets immersed in some of Alphinaud’s old adventures.

The journal tells tales from times when Louisoix was still alive. Alphinaud has been accepted in the Studium, and is being rather bored while his sister went away with their grandfather, forgetting to invite him to the trip. He expresses his happiness for his sister, but can’t help feeling a bit left out.
To escape his boredom, Alphinaud decides to follow his father Fourchenault, who is busy with some important personal matters. And even though his father is rather cold and distant, he agrees to let his prodigy son tag along.

What was Fourchenault up to? What did Alphinaud learn, or dream of, at such a young age? The journal reveals a series of events and revelations that will change Alphinaud’s life forever.
If you want to know more about his past and how it shaped his future, head over to the official Tales under the New Moon website, and read this story along with Alphinaud and Alisaie's mother, as she goes through her son's secret journal.
