In addition to the dungeon rotation, we now have the item levels of rewards from Mythic+ and the weekly chest in Dragonflight Season 1.

Item Level of Rewards from Mythic+ and the Great Vault in Dragonflight Season 1

We assume loot will be capped at Mythic +10 until Mythic Vault of the Incarnates becomes available, but that's open to speculation because Ion talked about the possibility of all difficulties being available simultaneously. Here's the item level of loot from Mythic+ in Dragonflight Season 1.

Difficulty Level End of Run Item Level Great Vault Item Level
Mythic  382 None
Mythic +2 382 399
Mythic +3 385 399
Mythic +4 389 399
Mythic +5 392 402
Mythic +6 392 402
Mythic +7 395 405
Mythic +8 399 408
Mythic +9 402 408
Mythic +10 405 412
Mythic +11 405 415
Mythic +12 408 418
Mythic +13 408 418
Mythic +14 412 421
Mythic +15 412 424

I was wondering whether M+ farming would be relevant again the same way it was in Legion. Since you can't acquire gear at least similar to raids and have to log in every week like a good boy pumping Activisions numbers, its again worthless to farm it.

Another expansion skipped

So is crafting with specializations and all able to approach that 424 cap at all?

There's been a lot of noise about gathering and crafting being a worthy alternate way of playing and gearing...but we've heard that noise before.    And the end result is that the highest level of crafting MIGHT with great effort approach the heroic ilevel....but usually not unless it's a soulbound.

But this is a buff...? In season 3, 15s dropped 262 items, which were 3 ilvls below heroic (265). A 15 in DF will drop 412, which is the same ilvl as Heroic raid.

Its not mythic tier ilvl though, is it? WF/TF in Legion was preferable to me as I'd rather run the same dungeon 10x for procs than have a fixed time schedule with raiding

In the vault, yes, they are. In Legion, the vault items only gave up to Heroic ilvl.

This week's Dragonflight Beta update reveals more information about the new Dragonflight Season 1 affix - Thundering!
The new affix will be active in all +10 runs and above. It is themed after Raszageth, the final boss found within the Vaults of the Incarnates raid. It is very similar to Quaking.
Thundering - While in combat, players are periodically caught in Raszageth's unending storm. As the storm passes, players discharge excess energy that can damage and stun allies.

Mythic +0 dungeons and Raid Finder bosses no longer drop Rare Quality gear on the Beta. The seemingly visual change has been reverted to Epic Quality.
In the previous build ,we reported about Mythic +0 dungeons and select Raid Finder bosses in the Vaults raid dropping Rare Quality gear.

However, Blizzard has reverted the loot quality to its previous state and Mythic +0 dungeons as well as bosses on Raid Finder difficulty again drop Epic Quality gear.

Tier sets and set bonuses are now available for testing on the Dragonflight Beta. You can purchase them from a vendor on the Valdrakken max level realm.
Talk to Setzertauren in Orgrimmar and Stormwind to get started!

Please note Tier Sets are only available for testing on Valdrakken. Koranos and Tyrhold do not have them. Happy testing!
