New WoW 18th Anniversary Event Highlights: Item Levels, XP Buff and Achievement

The 18th anniversary event is already live on Korean servers, as it arrives later today in the West, and we now know the item levels for the event bosses, as well as the fact that there is no new addition since last year.

As reported by rosemansion222, there's the standard WoW's 18th Anniversary WoW's 18th Anniversary achievement, the 18% Celebration Package Celebration Package XP buff and the item levels are 272 for the World Bosses. You can check out everything that's coming with the event today in our anniversary event guide here as well. Also, don't forget you can combine the event buff, Winds of Wisdom and Darkmoon Faire buff for a whopping 78% XP boost, as you can read more about here.

And while it is possible (if unlikely) that there's more to the event that rosemansion222 may have missed, even if there isn't it wouldn't be that unusual, as we don't get new things added to the event every year. And with the Dragonflight release so close, it's perhaps better that the focus be on the expansion, which is only 22 days away!

I remember when once we got a cool Deathwing-like mount, but looks like that was an exception.

Forget the deathwing mount, the corehound is where it's at.

I would disagree with that being an exception. That was a 15 year anniversary reward, just like there was the Corehound for the 10 year anniversary. The Doomhawk was the real out of left field new mount for the 17th year anniversary

"as well as the fact that there is no new addition since last year."
Doomhawk was added 2021 as a drop from Doomwalker. The only thing that would be news about it is whether it's obtainable again or not, like the other anniversary mounts

You are correct, there was Doomhawk. Almost forgot about it, maybe because it was so bland looking.

Reddit user Bonelord911 tried to organize all specializations by their alignment to the cosmology chart and here's the result!
There's just one slight inconsistency as ItisCaleb and Evonyte pointed out. Monks should be at Spirit, close to reality, since the Chi is a Spirit element according to the Chronicles.
