Dragonflight DPS, Tank and Healer Log Rankings for Vault of the Incarnates: Week 2

Recommended Posts

It's time to see what things are like after week 2 in the Vault, this time with all three roles in one place! Last week saw some big class tuning, so let's take a look at where it all ended up after that, in Heroic and Mythic.

Heroic

95th Percentile

Enhancement is the big story of the Heroic high percentiles, pushing up more and more, grabbing that 3rd spot away from Marksmanship, as the two Rogue specs remain unchanged at the top, hovering around the 70k DPS mark. Arcane got some moves as well, rising 3 spots into 5th, right as Windwalker falls 2 spots, allowing Assassination to stay right where it was. Frost DKs are the biggest movers this week, leaping 4 spots into 8th, as Havoc stays strong in 9th, and Elemental pushes 1 up to close out the top 10. Retribution finds itself 4 spots down in 11th, but at least it's not down in the dumps with Destruction and Frost Mage, who are joined by Survival in the bottom 3.

All Percentiles

The top two may look the same as last week at first glace, but the Rogues have had a complete reshuffling - Outlaw takes the top spot from Assassination, which drops down into 4th, as Subtletly moves into 2nd, with the Hunter spec making a wedge between all that yellow in 3rd. Enhancement moves up here as well, pushing Windwalker out of the way, as Arcane makes its way all the way up from 11th into 7th. Fury only drops 1 spot, but Frost DKs move up 3 into 8th, followed by Elemental's single-spot rise. Havoc closes out the top 10 one spot down, as the bottom of the list sees Destruction at its base, followed by a double class combo of Mages and Hunters, as each have a top 10 and two bottom 5 representatives.

Mythic

The logs for Mythic are still VERY sparse, with some specs having only 18 data points, so this is very much just to take a peek at what it might maybe look like (although the data is also skewed towards the very early bosses - mostly the first two where the vast majority of the guilds stopped at).

Healer HPS

We took a separate look at healers and tanks recently, and not much has changed since then, as Preservation is still very much at the top. Druid was the only mover, rising one since last week and pushing Shaman down, while the rest remained the same.

Tank DPS

Tank DPS isn't that big of a stat but since we don't really have any tankiness parses to check out, it'll have to do! Guardian remains on top as the list didn't change at all since last week, and generally the tank and healer rankings stay pretty stable throughout a patch cycle, if they don't get any specific tuning.

That's it for this week and we'll see if we get some more Mythic numbers in next time, although anything beyond those first 2 bosses is going to have some very small numbers attached. Meanwhile you can check out our Dragonflight class guides here or our Vault of the Incarnates guide here.

We have quite a few class fixes in today's batch, both for PvE and PvP, as well as the Primal Chaos BoA vendor and more, including some Wrath Classic improvements!
      February 2 (Source)
      Classes
Druid Skull Bash will no longer trigger Precognition when successfully interrupting a Holy Paladin with Concentration Aura. Guardian Fixed an issue where Tooth and Claw did not correctly grant 15% magic damage mitigation. Evoker Temporal Anomaly can now be cast while moving when releasing it through Stasis. Monk Mistweaver Fixed an issue that caused Lesson of Anger to not duplicate some damage or healing sources. Items and Rewards
Fixed an issue that prevented Blueprint: Utility Mechaclaw from dropping from the Caustic Mechaslime in Mechagon. Player versus Player
Classes Evoker Quell will no longer trigger Precognition when successfully interrupting another player who is affected by Concentration Aura. Solo Shuffle Fixed an issue where summoned pets’ cooldowns were not correctly being reset between rounds. Professions
Rabul of the Artisan’s Consortium now sells a Satchel of Coalescing Chaos that binds to your Blizzard Account. This item costs 80 Primal Chaos and provides 60 Primal Chaos to the character who uses it. Developers’ notes: We’ve heard and agree with feedback that players have amassed surplus Primal Chaos on their mains while their alts need all the Primal Chaos they can get. Some Primal Chaos will be lost in the transaction. This is because we want to make sure that while this is a great way for a main to help an alt, the best way to gear up a character should generally be via actually playing that character. Nonetheless, this should provide an additional use for your Primal Chaos, as well as a good way to get some powerful gear to your alts quickly. Inscription Fixed an issue with Darkmoon Decks where the Sagescale Sigil’s shuffle-when-jumping mechanic was being extended to all Darkmoon Decks. Wrath of the Lich King Classic
Classes Death Knight Fixed an issue where creating your first Death Knight would fail on the first attempt. Druid Nightsong Regalia (Tier 😎 4-set bonus heal now correctly triggers on each Rejuvenation. Developers’ note: The once-on-every-other-Rejuvenation cast is true to the behavior in patch 3.3.5. However, the wording of the Tier 8 set bonus does not reflect this, and instead indicates that Rejuvenation should provide an instant-heal on cast. It seemed like the fair thing to do would be to reimplement the once-on-every-Rejuvenation-cast trigger rate.

Blizzard commented on their recent decision to make Primal Chaos transferable between alts.
Earlier today, we reported about "account-wide" Primal Chaos and now Blizzard has commented on the quality-of-life improvement that went live via a hotfix.

We’ve heard and agree with feedback that players have amassed surplus Primal Chaos on their mains while their alts need all the Primal Chaos they can get. With a hotfix that went live about 12 hours ago, we’ve added a method for transferring Primal Chaos to other characters on your account.

It's been a while since we looked in on the Mythic+ logs and now's the perfect time, as we get to see the results of the new patch tuning! It's still looking pretty yellow on top, but there are plenty of changes all round as well, with Fire coming back with a vengeance.
Note: The logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      This past week was:
Fortified , Bolstering, Storming (and Thundering )
      All Keys
      95th percentile
While the very top of the top percentiles didn't change much with the new patch, with Subtlety and Outlaw switching places in 1 and 2, we do see a big change after that, as an entirely different Mage spec has come to claim the bronze! Fire rises out of the bottom of the chart and claims 3rd, taking it over from Arcane which sees itself 8 spots down. Balance remains strong and doesn't budge from 4th, while Destruction rocket-jumps 12 spots up to claim 5th. Windwalker and Havoc only drop 1, while Shadow takes its cue from Balance and stands still, Enhancement drops a little and Feral rises 2 to close out the top 10. The bottom 3 shuffle around a little but are still the same old 3 specs, with Frost DK getting the short end of the stick this time around.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
The top 4 for the generalist bracket reflects the top percentiles with the patch changes, but No.5 diverges from that pattern and sees Windwalkers... remain in place as last time we checked here. Havoc remains stable as Destruction takes over Demonology's place, Shadow rises and Arcane drops.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Tanks
Prot Warriors have taken the helm in Mythic+ and moved past Blood DKs, as Vengeance remains in third and Paladins move past Monks, with Guardians down in last - but at least they're getting some significant buffs next week!

Tank All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Healers
Preservation stands at the top, just like in raids, and Resto Druids are extremely close behind, as the top two switch positions, while Holy Paladins shoot into 3rd, moving past the Priests and leaving Monks down in the dumps.

Healer All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
