Dragonflight DPS Log Rankings for Vault of the Incarnates: Week 4

Recommended Posts

Clipboard02.jpg

The Rogue domination is definitely over, but the yellow specs are still doing fine, as this past week brought a lot of change to the rankings in the Vault. This is all ahead of the big tuning pass coming with the reset, which will be buffing quite a few specs, so next week is going to be even more interesting.

Heroic

95th Percentile

Arcane has managed to hold on to the top spot, despite the big commotion going on under it, as Unholy makes a huge leap up, moving past 5 specs to claim 2nd. Balance joins Arcane in holding steady in 3rd as Outlaw drops down past it, with Marksmanship losing one to accommodate the rising DK. Enhancement also holds on tight, making it 6 different classes in the top 6, with Subtletly dropping under it and Assassination behind it being the only Rogue spec doing better this week. Frost DK drops 2 spots while Havoc rises one to complete the top 10, just ahead of Windwalker which drops 2 in turn. The bottom specs remain the same, but all three of them are getting buffs this reset so they may be out of there soon!

All Percentiles

The generalist bracket is playing catch-up, as Arcane has only gotten to 2nd here now, pushing Marksmanship down one, as Outlaw remains in charge. Subtletly and Assassination are joined together here as well while Balance rises, gaining 2 spots as the trends follow the top percentiles, but aren't quite there yet. Unholy rises here as well, but only two spots, as Enhancement drops the same amount, with Windwalker ending only slightly better than in the top percentiles, but actually losing 3 spots to land in 10th. The bottom 3 is the same as last week, and all three of those specs are also receiving buffs as well.

Mythic

The number of Mythic logs is increasing, but it's till not yet significant enough, with only 100 entries for Survival, and more than 10 under 3,000, as only 13 guilds in the world killed Raszageth. Enhancement is the big star of the week here as it claims 2nd, and the Unholy trend continues here as well in 3rd, with Balance also moving up and then some. Frost is the big outlier as it's actually improving and doing a lot better than in Heroic, while the rest of the top 10 is pretty similar to the easier difficulty.

Wasnt destro buffed recently? I cant see that, top destros being good as badest rogues. The delta at least should overlap.

These figures apply to less than 5% of people that play wow. I'm not entirely sure why people get upset about classes not being balanced. Imagine everything did the exact same dps just with different buttons, that would be so fun....

This is so sad ppl invest a lot of time and gold to their toons just to find out they are last everywhere.

Every class has a spec at least middle of the pack. Lowest 5 are hunter, mage and warlock. Mage is #1 in hc 95th, marksmanship top 5 aswell. Lock a bit worse with demo being middle but still fine.

That's not the right way to seeing it.

It shows every spec potential and when you see you can't reach a certain point of DPS whatever the efforts you put into your gameplay and your char, this is, sometimes, very unfair.

About this tab, the only thing I think is unfair is the rogue. You take the Top 7 (which is relatively a short top) and you get all of the 3 rogue spec.

No other class can claim this absurd unbalance thing.

What you said actually makes  lot of sense, only if classes that dominate damage are ones that have less utility to offer.

As it stands how classes that have most utility are classes that have biggest damage potential, I mean just look at melee, Rogue, Druid, Shaman, Demon Hunters, Death Knights, all dominate DPS wise, and have huge utility potential.

Why would you invite Warrior into your group, if only thing it can do is do damage, and damage it does is subpar to damage utility heavy classes have.

As I warrior main I can confirm you that I never had harder time playing PVE content just to the fact that I am almost never invited, especially in M+ dungeons.

Ok? Play Prot then? If you don't want to then deal with the hand that life dealt you. Warrior will be great one tier and not another it's just the way things are.

it's litterally impossible to balance classes 100% because there will always be want great player and one poor player on either end of the board

      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,

We've looked at the Mythic+ Tier List for the first time in Patch 10.2.6!

To get your Spark of Awakening, you must complete a different quest every week.
The weekly quest is available from Therazal in central Valdrakken. There are 3 options, but only one is active every week, similar to how Awakened raids rotate.

Participate in a Community Feast Participate in a Hunt Lay siege to Dragonbane Keep Zaralek Cavern Quest
Protect the Researchers Under Fire Loot a Secured Shipment (Suffusion Camp) Complete a Time Rift Amirdrassil Quest

Completing any of the 3 quests above grants the Season 4 spark fragment (Splintered Spark of Awakening) via Weekly Awakened Activity and a Cache of Awakened Storms.
You will need two Splintered Spark of Awakening and 250 Flightstones to create one Spark of Awakening.
