How to Obtain Fyr'alath the Dreamrender (Legendary Two-Hand Axe) in Dragonflight

Recommended Posts

The World First Mythic Fyrakk kill triggered Fyr'alath to start dropping in the whole region next reset and in our latest post, we're looking at how to get the Legendary weapon!

Fyr'alath the Dreamrender Fyr'alath the Dreamrender will start dropping on live servers starting with the weekly reset, but the Legendary Axe comes in different stages and effects.

The initial legendary consumable drops from Fyrakk. Apparently, it has an increased drop chance on higher difficulties. Once equipped, players will be overwhelmed with shadowflame (Fyr'alath the Dreamrender Fyr'alath the Dreamrender) and must embark on a questline to unlock the item level 500 Legendary axe.

The axe comes with two effects (please note the placeholder values):

  • Rage of Fyr'alath Rage of Fyr'alath - Unleash the Rage of Fyr'alath to charge towards your target and swing repeatedly, dealing 0 Shadowflame damage over 3 sec to all who would stand in your way. (Instant, 25 yd range, 2 min cooldown)
  • Fyr'alath the Dream Render Fyr'alath the Dream Render - Your attacks apply Mark of Fyr'alath, dealing 0 Shadowflame damage over 15 sec. Upon activation, Fyr'alath draws in the flames from all marks to increase its damage by 10%.Snímka obrazovky 2023-11-27 o 17.34.55.jpg

Upon equipping the consumable that drops from Fyrakk, you will receive a quest and must visit a Shadowflame expert named Eadweard Dalyngrigge, located in Thaldraszus who will tell you to gather 3 components to withstand the heat so you can equip the weapon. This is very similar to the Evoker Legendary Questline.

You must get the following items obtainable from professions/crafting:

However, they are to as easy to get as you may think...

To craft Erden's Dreamleaf Grip Erden's Dreamleaf Grip, you will need:

To receive 1 Prototype Dreamleaf Grip Prototype Dreamleaf Grip, you must gather 200 Shadowed Dreamleaves from Superblooms.

The next item you will need is Lydiara's Binding Rune Lydiara's Binding Rune. This requires:

You must collect 50 Taut Tethercoils from Emerald Dream Rares to receive 1 Prototype Binding Rune Prototype Binding Rune. This isn't a 100% drop rate, so this quest may take a while to complete.

The final item is Shalasar's Sophic Vellum Shalasar's Sophic Vellum. Crafting it requires the following reagents:

Finally, you must gather 20 Radiant Flecks of Ash from powerful gear with Ashen Dowsing Rod Ashen Dowsing Rod. Basically, you're disenchanting Season 3 gear for quest items here. Once you've accrued 20 pieces, you will get 1 Prototype Order Vellum Prototype Order Vellum.

Once you have all 3 items, you can presumably wield the Legendary Axe, but nobody has obtained it yet on live servers, so there may be some additional steps and quests that we haven't covered here.

The questing, grinding, soulbound mats, and crafting is all sweet.

The gold cost for the auction house items is not sweet. Please blizz make it like 25% of the purchasable mats so I can do this :D

Danta is back with another soloing guide, this time, covering how to obtain Glory of the Uldir Raider achievement that rewards a crawg mount!
Glory of the Uldir Raider rewards the Bloodgorged Crawg mount and you must enter Uldir, the first Battle for Azeroth raid, to earn the achievement and get the mount.
Here's what the mount looks like:
      Bloodgorged Crawg
This crawg was left alone to feast on G'huun's corrupted blood and rot. He was so happy.

The Uldir meta-achievement requires players to complete a total of 8 achievements (1 per boss). For more details, you can watch Danta's video linked below.
In case you've missed it, there's also a guide on how to solo the Tomb raider meta-achievement.

It's surprising to learn just how many racial abilities have been removed from WoW over the years (or changed/nerfed enough as to basically be a different ability). Today we have hirumaredx going over some of the most overpowered and fun ones.
The first one triggers me greatly, as the idea of tauren just running around really fast instead of mounting was one of the reasons I even installed WoW back in the day in the first place! The video also talks about Priest-specific racial spells , some that don't fit the OP or fun description of the video, the Blood Elf ones you knew would be featured, and more.

During one raid, we got to see the Fyr'alath bad luck protection buff work wonders, yielding 12 drops from a single Fyrakk kill.
Sacolas shared an interesting shot on Reddit, showing 12 Fyr'alaths dropping simultaneously! This might just be the record for the most Fyr'alath the Dreamrender drops we've seen from a single kill to date. Sadly, the original poster missed out on the quest item, and looted instead a Greater Ember of Fyr'alath. Here's hoping for better luck next week!

What's the highest number of Fyr'alaths you've seen drop from one kill? Let us know in the comments below!
