Dawntrail's release date is 16 days away! In the meantime, let us delve into the erudite world of the Scholars, the strategists and healers of Eorzea.
The Scholar’s Wisdom originated from the ancient city-state of Nym. Scholars are favored for their high knowledge and their command over healing magic. Accompanied by their faerie familiars, they weave protective spells and restore vitality to their allies.
Players who align with Scholars travel alongside a faerie friend. As a Scholar, you will be the cornerstone of your party's survival, turning the tides of battle with your strategic healing and protecting spells!

During the latest Producer Live Letter (PLL), Yoshi-P revealed a good amount of details, including a comprehensive schedule leading up to the release of Dawntrail and its subsequent patches.
Below, we shall look at the given dates for Dawntrail's release and the following patches:
Patch Notes Reading: Scheduled for June 27 at 3:00 AM PDT, available in Japanese only. Dawntrail Early Access Launch: Set for June 28th. Preceded by a 48-hour maintenance prior to launch. Given the size of the patch, the FFXIV team recommends downloading it upon availability due to the potential length of the download process. Official Dawntrail Launch: July 2nd marks the day when Dawntrail officially goes live. Arcadion Raid Release: The much-anticipated Arcadion Raid, as well as Dawntrail patch 7.01, will be released on July 16th. Patch 7.05: Slated for release on July 30th, this patch will introduce the first set of Arcadion 1 to 4 Savage.
While each patch will bring lots of additional content, events, and updates, the above points highlight the primary objectives for each update so far.

During the latest Letter from the Producer Live, Part LXXXII, Yoshi-P delivered multiple new pieces of information about Dawntrail. Here is a recap of what you should look out for as we await the release of the new expansion in 18 days!

Today's Producer Live Letter was the last broadcast before the early access release of Dawntrail on June 28th. To prepare everyone for the launch, here is a recap of all the information that was shared during the PLL:
The list of new areas has been released:
Tuliyollal: The main city Urqopacha: A mountain area featuring alpacas Kozama'uka: Known for its giant waterfalls Yak T'el: A dense forest Shaaloani: A cowboy-themed desert Heritage Found: A cyberpunk-style zone with an old abandoned village Solution Nine: A cyberpunk-themed city

Wuk Lamat Erenville Krile: She will also be available for duty support Thancred Urianger The Dawnservant Gulool Ja Ja: the current Ruler Zoraal Ja: A contender for ruler, Sibling to Wuk Lamat Koana: Another contender for ruler, and Sibling to Wuk Lamat Bakool Ja Ja Enigmatic Maiden Alphinaud, Alisaie, and many more will also join New Gear:

Emotes and recipes for delivery items will be accessible from the duty list (if you need to cheer on an NPC, you will be able to click on the emote icon in the duty list, and it will bring you to it directly). Dyeing Adjustments: Double-dye system. Not all of the existing gear will have access to this function at the start of 7.0, but more will be added in later patches. An option is also added to save your favored dyes as well as previously applied dyes. Facewear Implemented: Spectacles previously available via the Fashion Accessories feature will be recategorized as facewear. Facewear can be equipped and saved as part of a gear set.
General Dawntrail Details:
