The Mandervillous Weapons

If you are looking for the best weapons in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, you might want to consider getting the Mandervillous Weapons, the final step of the Manderville Relic Weapon Questline. These weapons are not only the most powerful in terms of stats but also the most flashy in terms of appearance.

In order to have access to the last Manderville weapon, you will first need to complete the Hildibrand questline, as well as the first 3 steps for the Manderville weapons.

Unlike the previous relic weapons that had complex and time-consuming steps, this time it is rather simple: All you need is a total of 6,000 Allagan Tomestones of Causality (1500 per step for one weapon), which can be obtained from various endgame activities, such as dungeons, raids, and trials. You can purchase the upgrade items from Jubrunnah in Radz-at-Han with the Tomestones.

For step 4, you will need to purchase 3 Cosmic Crystallines after completing the Manderville story quests “Of Duplicity and Duplication” and “Gentlemen at Heart”.

Once you have obtained Mandervillous weapons, you can further enhance them by customizing the stats. You will be able to choose three attributes for your weapon, with a maximum number of stats that you will be able to allocate to each. However, compared to the Shadowbringers Relics, you will not be able to fully customize any stats. You can only put 2 substats at maximum, and one extra substat at 72. Keep in mind, though, that you can always come back to change those stats if you made a mistake; you will simply have to pay one Cosmic Crystallite.

The Mandervillous weapons are not only powerful but also beautiful. Each weapon has a unique name and a unique appearance, with intricate details and glowing effects.

For more information about how to unlock these weapons and what they all look like, you can head to our Manderville Weapons guide here: Manderville Relic Weapons

Additionally, it is good to know that completing the Hildebrand questline will also reward you with this awesome mount:

The Mandervillous Weapons are your best in slot weapon for Endwalker, offering both high performance and high style. They are easy to obtain and upgrade, and if you are a fan of the Hildibrand quests and the Manderville family, you will definitely enjoy these weapons and their stories. So go and get your Mandervillous Weapon and become the most Manderville adventurer in Eorzea!

The Final Fantasy XIV Meister Quality Figure of Hydaelyn and Zodiark is back due to popular demand! Find out how to participate in the open beta test of Final Fantasy XIV on Xbox Series X|S, starting on February 21, 2024.
Get ready for the Xbox Series X|S open beta test of Final Fantasy XIV, starting on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at around 8:00 (GMT) or 19:00 (AEDT). If you are an Xbox player who has never tried Final Fantasy XIV before, you can now participate in the open beta test!
This is a special opportunity for new players who have never tried Final Fantasy XIV before.
Important information: DO NOT link your Microsoft account to your Square Enix account if you have previously purchased the free trial or the game on another platform before the official Xbox launch. Those who have already completed the free trial on another platform or who already own an FFXIV license will be unable to participate in the beta.
The Final Fantasy XIV team asks that veteran players be patient, as playing on XBOX requires linking your Square Enix account to your FFXIV account, which cannot be undone. So be very cautious when linking both accounts!

For new players who want to try the game on Xbox Series X/S during the open beta test, here's what you need to do:
First, make sure the following privacy options have been set on your Xbox: Settings > Account > Privacy and online safety > Xbox privacy > view details and customize > communication and multiplayer: Enable the following settings: "You can join multiplayer games," set to Allow. "You can join cross-network play," set to Allow. "Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites," set to Everybody. "You can communicate outside of Xbox with voice & text," set to Everybody. From the previous view details & customize menu, select game content and confirm: "You can see and upload community creations," set to Everybody. From the Microsoft Store, look for Final Fantasy XIV and open the product page. From the “…” option menu, pick and download the Final Fantasy XIV Free Trial to your Xbox Series X|S. Once the installation is done, start the game and follow the on-screen instructions to begin your journey. The open beta test has the same content, features, and restrictions as the free trial version, except for the option to buy items from the online store. You will not require any Xbox Game Pass plan in order to play the open beta or the free trial. However, once the game fully releases on Xbox, if you intend to buy it, you will require the Xbox Game Pass to play it.
The Xbox Series X|S version will be available immediately after the open beta test ends, but the exact date is still being discussed since the FFXIV team may require time to adjust things after the beta. You will be able to keep your Final Fantasy XIV game data and play without having to download the game again at launch.
More details about any transfers and the actual release date will be published later, as well as information on how veteran gamers can continue to play on Xbox after launch. Let's welcome our Xbox friends to the wonderful world of Eorzea and accompany them on their journey with kindness and friendship!

FFXVI Crossover Event - A Path Infernal

The newest addition to the legendary Square Enix RPG franchise, Final Fantasy XVI, launched last year as a PlayStation 5 exclusive. The game takes place in the dark and gritty world of Valisthea, where six nations fight for dominance and survival.
The related event story in FFXVI will be designed in a way that avoids revealing too much of the FFXVI plot, so that everyone can enjoy the event quests without spoilers. However, we currently do not have an exact date for the release of the event.
Here is all the information that is currently available:
The event will be called "A Path Infernal", and will most likely feature a boss battle against an Eikon from FFXIV! Clive will visit Eorzea, and will travel side by side with the Warrior of Light for, embarking on a new adventure together. Additionally, you can also look forward to exciting rewards such as a Torgal mount and a puppy Torgal minion, as well as a glamour set of Clive's armor, and more!

Further details will be revealed as the event approaches. However, it will definitely release before Dawntrail launch this summer!
The next DLC for FFXVI is coming soon!
You can play Echoes of the Fallen right now, if you buy it from the Playstation Store. The DLC can be purchased separately, or in a bundle with both DLC's (so you won't have to buy anything again when the second DLC comes out, and just have to update your game).

The second DLC, The Rising Tide, will probably show the final Eikon that was missing from the main game. If you finished FFXVI, you will know which one we are referring to, but we won't say anything else to avoid spoilers and leave some surprise for players who have yet to finish the main storyline! The Rising Tide DLC should be out in spring 2024, and we will update you as soon as an official release date has been confirmed.
