With the new Chaotic Alliance Raids, players have started to speculate about how other bosses will appear in their chaotic forms. One particular boss stands out!
Chaotic Alliance Raids have finally been announced, and the first one will feature the Cloud of Darkness Boss. This news has players excited about the new battle content, but some are also apprehensive about what future chaotic raids might entail.
Many players are still haunted by a particular boss from the past. The Ridorana Lighthouse, part of the Return to Ivalice level 70 Alliance Raid from Stormblood, includes a boss that requires players to use math to survive the fight.
Construct 7 is a boss that continues to challenge groups because the math involved in one of its mechanics is often misunderstood. At a certain point, players must calculate their health value and step into the correct circle to obtain the required value:
Divide by Four: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is divisible by four. Divide by Five: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is divisible by five. Divide by Three: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is divisible by three. Indivisible: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is a prime number. While it does not seem complicated, the reality is that you have very little time to figure it out, which can lead to complications. Players have speculated about the math for future chaotic versions of this raid, ranging from basic math, to more complex equations:
What boss are you expecting the most for the new Alliance Chaotic raids?

Raiding can be a stressful experience, especially when you are just starting and have no idea how it works. Here is info on a very useful, new server to help you on your journey!
Final Fantasy XIV Sprouts can sometimes have a hard time getting into any Savage Raids. Whether it is difficulty in grouping up, stress, expectations, or the pressure of failure, many things can come into play, and some may never find a group to start savage raiding.
This is why some EU players have created a Discord server dedicated to helping Sprouts with their first time raiding Savage!
Join the Warriors of Wipe Discord Server and start your official raiding journey!
The discord offers the following features:
Weekend Savage Raids: The specific raid is decided during the week, and each raid group will have a Mentor joining. The Mentor will take the time to explain the raid, call the shots, teach mechanics, answer any questions, and generally ensure everything runs smoothly and everyone is having a good time! Teach the basics of savage raiding and how high-end raids work in FFXIV. No pressure to perform perfectly. "Unofficial" raids during the week between users if they want to, however there is no guarantee a Mentor will be present during these. Sprouts, Mentors, and Helpers can join and participate. Voice is not required, simply encouraged, but listening is enough. Ultimate Raids are not done officially, but members may schedule runs during the week. Raids on EU servers only for the time being. The server is not explicitly a static or a recruiting server, but simply a casual collection of folks you can sign up to raid with! The focus of the Discord is really to remove stress and anxiety from entering raiding, and also less focus on being super optimized, even if good habits are encouraged!
Members have given us some original feedback, stating that the server has helped them get through Savage, motivated them to aim for more end-game content, gained confidence, and provided a place where they can feel safe even when they mess up during a fight. It offers all the advantages of a static without the constraints of having to commit to a strict raiding schedule. If you are looking for nice, patient, and understanding people to start raiding with, this is the right place!
Once again, you can join the Warriors of Wipe Discord Server Here!

To celebrate the legacy of Stephen Critchlow, beloved English voice actor of Edmont de Fortemps, players gathered for a heartwarming Vigil in Final Fantasy XIV!
In the vast world of Eorzea, the Final Fantasy XIV community stands out not just for its dedication to the game, but for its incredible compassion and unity. Time and again, players come together to hold vigils and gatherings to honor the memories of fellow players, beloved actors, and other significant figures who have passed away. A moment of support and solidarity for fallen Warriors of Light!
The Voice Actor of Edmont de Fortemps has passed away on September 19th, 2021 from cancer, and once again this year, players gathered in Ishgard in front of the Fortemps Manor to celebrate the legacy he has left behind.
On the EU server players aligned in front of the Manor with campfire minions, paying tribute to the late voice actor. Other servers have seen Paladins and Dark Knights standing guard 24/7 in front of the Manor.
This event once more shows the bond FFXIV players have with the game, and everyone who is or was involved in it.
