Thank You

Hi,

Just wanted to says thanks for the Basic Hunter, Card Advantage, and Why Am I Losing? articles. These really helped me get up to speed and begin to start thinking about deeper levels of strategy.

I have only been playing a few days and think one of the hardest parts of the game right now is learning all of the different class cards. It's hard to predict what the other classes might be planning in any given game when you don't know what they can play tongue.png Bearing this in mind, should I continue to focus on a single class or spend some time learning all of the classes in order to achieve a broader understanding of each classes strategies and abilities?

Finally, one BIG question I have is whether or not to buy Expert boosters or GvG boosters with my gold? Currently I have just been alternating between the two each time I have enough gold.

Thanks again,

-Zyd

Thanks for the kind words, and you're welcome!

To answer your question, GvG packs probably represent better value right now. There are a lot fewer cards, and a higher ratio of good/usable cards, so you're more likely to get good value from your Gold.

I concur wholeheartedly on the thanks for the articles.  I also used the advice for the Basic Mage deck and have been amazed at the results.

Playing against other opponents with either basic or basic/common decks, I am winning about 75% of matches.  Even when I play against decks that contain at least a few rares, I am still winning at least half of my games.

I attribute my success mostly to following the advice of the "Card Advantage" article.  I do not worry so much about health any more and just make sure I have more cards in hand and eventually I come up with a devastating array on the board as well.

I have been amazed at the efficiency of this deck, and it is huge fun to play as well.

Again, many thanks!

Thank you as well! I have used all of the basic deck guides for every class and have been able to level all classes to 10. I use these basic decks to get my daily quests complete. The strategies are great and they work. I usually win 7 out of 10 times. This is not ranked play of course.

Great guides!

This is my current pawn string from sims:
      Agility=21.87, CritRating=18.49, HasteRating=24.16, MasteryRating=22.94, Versatility=17.33
Is anyone else getting haste over mastery and agi? I recently got the Mantle (FINALLY!), so not sure if that is affecting anything. I know crit used to be important for Mantle, so I am not sure why it would be the culprit here. I even tested swapping out my enchants to haste and it did provide a slight boost while maintaining the same scaling. Mastery is at 9300, Crit at 9300 and Haste at 8000 (Roughly), so I definitely dont feel I have enough mastery to start warranting haste over it and agi.
Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this too?
I do have the current sim build, so no issues there.

      Hey hunters!

I used to play hunter back in the old days (Max level 80), and now starting with the game again. Therefore starting to gather some research before making my character (Yea thats my thing). First of all im a raider, love doing that, therefore want to master a spec there can give me a spot on the raid teams. I passionated in the spec BM for a while, but have a hard time to chose, as my research came across Survival. Survival look pretty strong at the moment, when i look at characters as Nnoggah. So i want the hear some of the more experience guys in here, how is BM doing compared to Survival, is it lacking behind or is it doing better if played right?

Hope to hear some opinions. PS i know typical question here, but as a person i just like to get all facts gather before starting something.
      Kind regards - TeemoTeemo

I noticed I'm doing absolutely horrible on H guldan. I've done anywhere from 360-400k dps on him, still no kill yet either, yet on the other bosses I pretty much have no issue getting enough damage in. My ilvl is 892 and here's a list of what I have on me at the moment. I sadly do not have logs.

All applications will be reviewed and considered however if you are playing a class/spec combination we need then your chances of joining will be higher.
A little bit of info about us:
We are a group of friends and serious raiders on EU Twisting Nether looking to recruit skilled like-minded players into our roster for Mythic Legion raids and onwards. We will offer a sociable and fun raiding environment while maintaining a strong desire for progression. Our Discord is very active and we encourage all members to chat and play together not only for raids. The guild formed late March 2016 and fully cleared 13/13 Mythic Hellfire Citadel pre nerf shortly after. We've since been improving our world ranking every tier.
We currently raid 3 days per week on Mythic: Wednesday, Sunday and Tuesday 19:15-22:15 server time. While it is not a lot we try to make the most out of our time. We run optional heroic/normal/alt/previous tier raids during off days in which raiders are welcome to come to. Our members also play other games outside raid times together where anyone is welcome to join(LoL, Dota, HotS, Overwatch etc.).
Our loot system for Mythic is RC Loot Council.
      What we expect from you:
      - We are a raiding guild with only a 9 hour per week schedule so you are expected to attend and be ON TIME! However we understand things can come up sometimes but please let us know.
      - Be able to speak and understand the English language and not be afraid to communicate with other members during raids.
      - Actively doing dungeons/world quests to improve your gear and artifact weapon.
      - Have a strong understanding of the current raid tier and be able to play your class to it's potential.
      - Always come to raids prepared(i.e. bringing food and potions, etc).
      - Come fully gemmed and enchanted with the correct stats for your class and spec.
      - Access to Discord and a working microphone.
      - Have a computer that can handle 20 man raiding and a good, stable internet connection.
      - Exorsus Raid Tools, Weakauras2 and RC Loot Council addons installed. We may ask you to install others.

If you have any further questions please contact us at battletags: Vims#21684 Azkey#21565
To apply please visit our guild website: http://asylum-tn.enjin.com/recruitment
