Lost Grimoire and Bookshelf Puzzle Guide in Genshin Impact

Lost Grimoires are items you can find throughout the Faded Castle below Petrichor. This area is unlocked through the World Quest series "Canticles of Harmony".

Using the Ancient Symphony you can pause Lost Grimoires. Once paused, you are able to catch them to then be used on any of the available Bookshelves. This will also stop them from fading in and out, instead turning a bright red.

Once a Lost Grimoire is on a bookshelf, use the Symphony again but holding the button this time to release soundwaves which solve the puzzle. This allows you access to anything behind the doors such as treasure, Hydroculus and even a Midlander Claymore Billet!

Listed below are all of the Lost Grimoire locations. Do be warned though that they fade in and out while also moving around their designated area which can make them hard to see at times.

• 1 - Next to the Mysterious Bookshelf.
• 2 - Floating between the two staircases.
• 3 - Floating near the water.

• 4 - Found high up on a ledge opposite the Hydroculus.

• 5 - Found near the end of the corridor
• 6 - Bottom floor Library
• 7 - Library second floor beyond the blue crystal
• 8 - Using the staircase created when hitting the blue crystal, the final Grimoire will be located beside a Bookshelf.
