With the introduction of Version 4.0 alongside the release of Planarcadia, Honkai: Star Rail once again continues to expand its universe with the new arrival of Astropolis, a new blue skied sunny world packed with new content and hidden discoveries. Among its highlights are the Floating Grease Chronicles, small puzzles located across each area of Astropolis. Although these puzzles may sound like a simple feat, tracking them down is a key part in progressing to the Floating Grease Chronicles World.

Floating Grease Origin Retrace: Shiftmation! is a puzzle challenge available in Astropolis that makes use of the Shiftmation system. Each of these mini puzzles reward you with various items such as Stellar Jade and Relics. Clearing every instance of this puzzle type in a given area unlocks an additional World within the Floating Grease Chronicles world. Within each of the puzzles the aim to reclaim each block resonating from the main objective. Once all blocks have been reclaimed you will be able to interact with the Main objective which will be unlocked.

Each area across Astropolis - Astropolis Central District each contain a certain amount of Fragments to be found which need to be collected in order to enter the mini World inside the Floating Grease Chronicles.

During the Floating Grease Origin Retrace: Shiftmation! in Planarcadia there is 1 achievement that can be obtained - "The Lights on Earth" from the catagory Fathom the Unfathomable. Upon completing the achievement you will be rewarded with 5 Stellar Jades.

After gathering all the Fragments within an area, you unlock access to its corresponding Island. Once there, you must discover several hidden chests to fully complete that mini world. Finding these chests rewards you with valuable items, including Stellar Jades.

The Floating Grease Chronicles World can be found in Duomension City or in Astropolis Central District. Specifically for Astropolis you can find the world located at the Ferry Station.
