Novaflare Character Trial Event Guide for Honkai: Star Rail

This event will be available in Version 4.0 (Server Time).

Novaflare is a limited-time character trial event. This means players can try out updated character kits using designated Team Line-ups for rewards. This event may return in the future for new Novaflare additions.

Novaflare is a limited-time character trial event. Players can trial characters with the Novaflare enhancement, using a designated Team Line-up. Upon successful completion of the challenge stages, players will receive Stellar Jades.

In order to participate in the Novaflare event, you need to reach Trailblaze Level 4. You do not need any of the trial characters to experience the Novaflare enhancement feature.

The Travel Log feature is accessible through the Phone main menu, the customizable Shortcut Wheel, or the top-right corner of the main screen. The Novaflare event will be located in the Travel Log.

During the event, you can earn 20 Stellar Jades from completing each character's Challenge Stage.

For Version 4.0, the total expected rewards are 40 Stellar Jades.

The Novaflare feature enhances a character's abilities, Traces, and/or Eidolon effects. Currently owned characters and newly obtained will have the Novaflare enhancement on by default.

You can switch between the character's original state and the Novaflare enhanced state under the Character Details interface. The details on the Novaflare enhancements are accessible using the Character Enhancement button in the bottom-right of the character page.

These details include previewing the before/after comparisons for all kit adjustments. If the Novaflare feature is disabled on a character, all of their enhancement effects will not take effect.

As the Novaflare enhancements can greatly change a character's kit, players are highly recommended to review the adjustments to see if the character needs new Relics or Light Cones. In addition, you can participate in the Novaflare character trials to test out their kit first.
