Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Demon King is part of the Conventional Memoir. This means players can continue to play the event after the limited-time period is over. However, some of the rewards are available for a limited-time only, and will not be obtainable anymore after the event ends.

What is the Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Demon King Event About?
Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Demon King is a combat challenge event. Giovanni returns to Penacony to sponsor a new game based on you, The Legend of the Galactic Baseballer! You are cordially invited to try out the Open Beta, and see if you have what it takes to defeat the Demon King.
During the event, players will have to defeat waves of enemies and bosses to chase after the Demon King and save every planet. Upon clearing each wave, gain powerful buffs and weapons to earn a high Adventure Score and obtain Raccoon Tokens.
After completing the event, players will unlock another game called the Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Departure. This can be played right beside the Demon King Game Machine in Penacony Paperfold University College.
How do you Participate in the Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Demon King Event?
In order to participate in the Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Demon King event you need to reach Trailblaze Level 21 and complete the Trailblaze Continuance Mission: An Andalusian Monkey located in Penacony.

During the limited-time period, players may activate Finality's Vision in order to play the event early. However, you may encounter story spoilers, so it is highly recommended to only do so if you feel like you will not reach nor complete the event before the limited-time rewards expire. After the limited-time period ends, Finality's Vision will will be disabled after the player has completed the pre-requisite requirements.

To get started, teleport directly to the "Legend of the Galactic Baseballer" feature, or navigate to Penacony's Penacony Paperfold University College. From there, speak with the nearby NPC, Giovanni, to begin the Event.

After progressing in the Mission, interact with the Game Machine to begin a tutorial walkthrough on how to play the event. See the How to Play section for any additional clarifications. Certain features of the event will progressively unlock as you complete further challenges.
Galactic Baseballer, game on!
Legend of the Galactic Baseballer: Demon King Guide

First, select a planet stage you want to challenge. Each planet stage is categorized into three levels of difficulty: Easy, Normal, and Insane. There are a total of six planet stages in the event.
Team Setup and Planetary Information

Players can review the Planetary Information for the stage here, as well as set up their Team Line-up. The Planetary Information consists of:
- Initial Weapon: The Weapon your Team starts out with on Wave 1.
- Recommended Weapon Combinations: In-Game Recommendation on Weapons to obtain in the challenge.
- Challenge Progress: How many Waves, Elite Enemies, and Boss Enemies are in the stage.
- Team Bonus: What bonus combat effect you get when challenging the stage.
- May Encounter: What enemies you may encounter.
- Deployed Line-up: Your current selection of Characters for the Team.
Gameplay Overview
To complete the event challenges, your team must defeat waves of enemies, while collecting the Demon King's Treasures and earning Raccoon Gold Coins.
You can review the following information at any time in the challenge through the Pause Menu.

There are four primary things to keep in mind while fighting:
- Challenge Progress: How far you have progressed in the wave so far.
- Countdown: Once it reaches 0 and is at the top of the Action Order, the Wave will end.
- Adventure Score: Your accumulated score points so far. This is finalized when the Waves end, or your entire Team is wiped out.
- Current Level: The current Team Level. Defeating enemies will grant Experience; upon leveling up, players can receive an Equipment Upgrade.
You will progress to the next Wave of enemies when either following condition has been fulfilled:
- All enemies in the wave have been defeated, and the Challenge Progress bar is completely filled.
- In the Action Order, the Countdown has reached 0 and is at the top, signalling the end of the Wave.
In addition, you must also defeat a minimum number of enemies during an Elite or Boss Enemy Wave. Failing to do so will end the challenge early.
Equipment Upgrades

Whenever your Team levels up, you will be brought to this menu to get an Equipment upgrade opportunity. There are several things you can do on this menu screen:
- Review your Weapons and Accessories' Levels and Effects
- Confirm the Team's Level, Team Bonus, and Current Adventure Strategy(s)
- Check the Stage's Weapon Recommendations, as well as the Weapon Synthesis Guide
- Obtain a new Weapon or Accessory at the base level (Lv.1 by default)
- Level up one of your current Weapons or Accessories
- Exclude one Weapon or Accessory from the Equipment Pool
- Reset the current pool of Equipment Upgrades, up to a limited amount per challenge
For each challenge, you are given a number of resets to use, if you do not like your current pool of Equipment Upgrades. However, the number of attempts do not reset until the current challenge ends, so use your resets wisely! The number of Reset Attempts, as well as Inventory Slots, can increase over time with upgrades from the Cosmic Store.
If you exclude equipment, you will not be able to obtain it again until the current challenge ends.
After your current inventory is full, you cannot obtain any new Equipments until another slot opens up. Until then, the only Equipment Upgrades you will see are limited to what your inventory currently has.

Whenever you defeat an Elite Enemy, they will drop the Demon King's Treasures, which has free upgrades for the Equipment you currently own. The number of upgrades depends on the Treasure's rarity:
- Blue Treasure (Common): 1 Upgrade
- Purple Treasure (Uncommon): 3 Upgrades
- Orange Treasure (Rare): 5 Upgrades
If you do not like your current selection of Equipment Upgrades, you can also opt to just skip entirely. This can be useful if you are trying to go for a specific Equipment build.
Adventure Strategy

At the start of every Wave, you can obtain Adventure Strategies, which are additional Team Bonuses or Effects. You can only choose one of the randomly given, and you also have the opportunity to reset them (up to a limited amount).
Challenge Results

After completing the challenge, you will be brought to the two-page Results Screen. On the first page, you can review the following things:
- Final Challenge Progress
- Final Team Level and Team Bonus Value
- Equipment Inventory and Levels
- Chosen Adventure Strategies
- Challenge Score and your Best Record for the current Planet Stage
- Total amount of Cosmic Reputation and Raccoon Gold Coins earned

On the second page of Results, you can review the Damage Statistics from the challenge, as well as what Team Line-up you used.
Adventure Index

The Adventure Index contains a full list of every Weapon, Accessory, and Adventure Strategy available in the event. Here, players can review what each Description or Effect does, and also toggle to view the Brief/Advanced Description.
Additional unlocks will progressively occur as you complete further stages, or achieve a minimum of 30,000 points in a specific challenge.
Synthesis Guide

One of the primary ways to get stronger within the challenges is to upgrade your Weapons and Accessories, eventually ascending them to create weapons of the highest calibre: Legendary Weapons, Twin Weapons, and the greatest of them all, the Esteemed Weapon!
In order to synthesize Weapons, players will primarily need to upgrade the Weapon's Level and obtain its corresponding Accessory. For Twin Weapons and the Esteemed Weapon types, you will not require any Accessories, but only max-level Weapons will be acceptable for synthesis.
For a full list of Weapons you can synthesize into, you can access this Guide at any time through the Adventure Index or in combat (via Pause Menu or after every Wave).
Cosmic Store

After completing the tutorial, players can access the Cosmic Store, where they can spend their hard-earned Raccoon Gold Coins on Stat Boosts and Enhanced Traits. These are very useful to upgrade, as it will make completing challenges a lot easier.
You will need a total of 71,600 Raccoon Gold Coins in order to upgrade every Stat Boost and Enhance Trait bonus to maximum.
If you find yourself short on Raccoon Gold Coins, you can also downgrade Boosts or Traits you do not need for that challenge. This will refund the Coins back into your inventory. Otherwise, your primary Raccoon Gold Coin income will be from completing multiple stage challenges.
For each stage, the game will automatically recommend how you should spend your coins per challenge. Review the Recommendations Table under each Planet for advice on how to complete their respective challenges.
Cosmic Reputation Rank

In the event, players will receive Rank Experience in the form of Cosmic Reputation. This is used to ascend your Cosmic Reputation Ranks, up to a maximum Level of 20. Players can earn additional Cosmic Reputation through challenging the event stages, or by clearing the challenge with additional Cycles remaining.
Leveling up your Reputation Rank will give you an assortment of rewards, from Stellar Jades, Tracks of Destiny, and the Event-Exclusive Avatar Ball Bat by Name. These permanent rewards are available to obtain even after the limited-time period ends.
If you have not reached the maximum Trailblaze Level, a portion of the Credits will be exchanged for Trailblaze EXP at a 1:10 ratio.
For the full list of permanent rewards, review the final section of this guide.
Players can also access the First-Time Completion Reward tab to obtain additional rewards if they successfully get a score of 30,000 points or higher on each planet. For advice on how to get better scores, review the Recommendations Table for each planet challenge you wish to improve on.
