Mistweaver Monk Healing Gear and Best in Slot — Season 4
On this page, you will find the best gear and best in slot items for your Mistweaver Monk in World of Warcraft Season 4.
BiS Gear Guide for Mistweaver Monks
Because of the diverse nature of gear and the variability of item level due to things like the weekly cache, a true "best in slot" list is slippery. You should always be equipping items that will benefit you based on your stat weights. To acquire said weights, use WoW Analyzer. More on that can be found below.
To find out how to best augment your gear with enchants and gems and optimize your characters with consumables, check out our Gem, Enchant, and Consumable page below.
Gearing up for Dragonflight
Upon reaching Level 70, you have 3 main options to start gearing your character: Dungeons and Raids, PvP such as Arena or Battlegrounds, and world systems like Renown with the four main Reputations.
Once you can get invited to Mythic dungeons, be sure to complete each one during your first week, then look to see if you can find groups for your preferred style of play, be that Mythic+ or Rated PvP.

Trinkets
The ranking system is as follows:
- A Tier: These trinkets are by far the strongest and are always good options.
- B Tier: are slightly weaker than A but may be lacking in certain areas.
- C Tier: are middling trinkets that have either difficult-to-use effects or random procs that drastically reduce their effective value.
- D Tier: These are generally worthless trinkets you should avoid.
Note: due to the sheer volume of trinkets available during the Awakened Season, as well as our access to Antique Bronze Bullion, this page will only be showing the very best options, rather than a comprehensive list of items.
A Tier
- Smoldering Seedling from Amirdrassil
- Neltharion's Call to Dominance from Aberrus
- Rashok's Molten Heart from Aberrus
- Fyrakk's Tainted Rageheart from Amirdrassil
- Whispering Incarnate Icon from Vault of the Incarnates
B Tier
- Blossom of Amirdrassil from Amirdrassil
- Pip's Emerald Friendship Badge from Amirdrassil
- Ominous Chromatic Essence from Aberrus
- Conjured Chillglobe from Vault of the Incarnates
Best Gear To Spend Bullions On For Mistweaver Monk
Season 4 offers a way to target specific, powerful items with the new Antique Bronze Bullion. Here are the best items to spend your Bullions on in Dragonflight Season 4.
- Neltharion's Call to Dominance
- Smoldering Seedling (for Raids)
- Fyrakk's Tainted Rageheart (for Mythic+)
We recommend picking up Neltharion's Call to Dominance first, as it fits well into any build or content that you would like to do, whereas the other two options are slightly more suited to their particular content style.
Embellishments
With the updated crafting system introduced in Dragonflight, we have also seen the introduction of a new way to add interesting effects to your crafted gear: Embellishments. When an item is being crafted, you can add a reagent that will cause that piece of gear to have a specific proc, depending on the reagent used. Additionally, some pieces of gear come with embellishments already on them. You can wear a maximum of 2 pieces of embellished gear.
The following are the best Embellishments for Mistweaver Monk:
- Elemental Lariat — with the 10.2 changes that brought other embellishments back in line, Lariat has retaken its spot as our best embellishment. It's strong on it's own and only gets stronger throughout the season as you acquire more sockets.
- Verdant Tether — this ability speaks for itself, a small Versatility buff that is also shared with another group member. Nothing to write home about, but a welcome addition of stats.
It should also be noted that you can get a bonus quality of life embellishment that doesn't count towards your total in the form of Alchemical Flavor Pocket. It extends the duration of your food buff, as well as causing it to persist through death. Perfect for progressing on new bosses or pushing higher Mythic+
Tier Sets
Tier Sets are a group of items that provide you with bonuses depending on how many items of that group you equip. These are always dropped from raids, but you can also acquire them from your Great Vault or by upgrading items via the Revival Catalyst. The bonuses for Mistweavers are as follows:
- Monk Mistweaver 10.2 Class Set 2pc — Renewing Mist applies Chi Harmony to its initial target, increasing the healing you do to them by 50% for 8 seconds.
- Monk Mistweaver 10.2 Class Set 4pc — 20% of the healing done to targets with Chi Harmony is stored, then distributed evenly amongst allies with Renewing Mist whenever Chi Harmony expires or is refreshed.
