The stat priority for a Restoration Druid is:

  1. Intellect;
  2. Haste;
  3. Mastery;
  4. Multistrike;
  5. Critical Strike;
  6. Versatility;
  7. Spirit.

These statistics have been obtained by combining common sense, in-game testing, and simulations using Simulation Craft.

2.1. Statistics Explanations

Intellect is your primary stat. You should look for this stat in all of your upgrades. It provides you with Spell Power, which increases the power of your heals.

Spirit increases your Mana regeneration. You should always aim to have items with Spirit. Once you are comfortable with your Mana regeneration, you can start prioritising other statistics. Spirit is only available for healers on Amulets, Cloaks, Rings, and Trinkets.

Haste is important because it lowers the cast time of your heals.

Mastery has two benefits, thanks to Mastery: Harmony Icon Mastery: Harmony. Firstly, it increases your direct healing (not healing over time). Secondly, each time you heal a player with a direct heal, you gain a self buff that increases your periodic healing for 20 seconds. It is a very valuable statistic.

Critical Strike increases your chance to critically hit with all spells and abilities.

Versatility increases all your damage and healing done, and decreases all damage taken.

Multistrike causes your abilities to have a chance to hit/heal a second and a third time, each time dealing 30% of the initial damage/heal.
