I play a Combat Rogue and noticed that on the PTR Death From Above is getting a ~25% buff to it's AOE.  Now I know that Venom Rush is best at the moment due to it's raw energy regen, however I was wondering when there was a scenario where DFA becomes a dps increase?

I'm not great at theorycrafting but I hope that some people are more knowledged on the effectiveness of DFA?

I really want to use DFA.

DFA.

For Combat it still won't be great. At first glance it's looking as if it will be a decent buff for Assassination in particular and slightly for Sub, but overall nothing super amazing.

Still in tuning right now though, so we'll see

Combat loses too much time with white hits, and can easily energy cap due to its high Haste

Edit to add more detail: Combat's cleave is the exact same as its single target rotation - you just turn on Blade Flurry. Since BF hits an infinite number of targets, there's no real reason to need a special attack to cleave

      Hey Everyone,
So i play a Demon Hunter Lvl 120 with iLVL 464.
My DPS in dungeons is just so low compared to everyone else and i dont know why. I was in a M8+ earlier and the ilvl 450 Tank was doing more DPS than I was.
Any tips? Check out my gear/character, i think its all setup right. I went through the Icy Veins Demon Hunter guide and stat priority etc... Got a rotation, but something isnt right. Im always last on DPS even with 440 ilvl players in the group.

      Thanks for reading!

I recently started working toward my cape on my Balance Druid.  Last night while doing my vision beginning quest line to get my cloak, my partner noticed small frogs leaping into battle during our fights.  I searched my gear and looked at my setup, skills, essences, etc., to see if I could find anything saying "small frogs leap into battle" or something similar, but was unable to find anything to explain this oddity.
Does anyone have any idea where these frogs are coming from?  Is it a hidden part of my skills or based upon race being used?  Any help to explain this oddity would be appreciated.
      Thanks in advance.

Okay so between Nelf and Human rogue my questions are this
Doesn't the weapon skill see a diminishing return?
Is the dps difference actually there?
Also shadowmeld vs perception: I don't understand why shadowmeld isn't considered to be the better choice?
Reasoning being that a nelf should get the jump on another rogue first regardless, because of the better stealth..that is a passive. Also wouldn't the shadowmeld be better in a raid setting for sap?
I understand that perception is active for 20 seconds but it has a cool down, and is also on the same faction?
