[US-Eldre'Thalas][A] <Amaranth Knights> (10/25M, 15/16 N, 1/16 HM); LFM for the Academy!

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

Amaranth Knights is a guild that formed in the middle of Burning Crusade, and is still raiding to this day! The atmosphere in this guild is that we're focused on progressing through end-game content, while keeping things fun. We take great joy in being able to raid with each other, and to work on bosses that we've never experienced. Our 25M team is currently working on Sha of Fear, while our 10M team is 16/16 on normal, and has already taken down Garaj'al on H.

And we are also looking to expand our guild, and our server's community. Hence why we are starting up the Academy once again. Before I elaborate on the details, here's a bit of background; back in Cataclysm, we had this same desire, but there was only two problems. We couldn't take more than 25 people into raids, and we found ourselves turning down applications to the guild from players who showed potential, but weren't at the level we needed for our progression teams. However, we could develop a program to help people obtain gear and raiding experience so that they could get there. That is exactly what we did; we started up an Academy, and assigned guild members to become class mentors. Every Saturday, we successfully formed 25M raids comprised of guild members on their alts, and Academy members.

Many of the people who came into the Academy ended up being part of our main raiding team.

On our past Academy runs in Cataclysm, we've cleared Madness on 25M-Normal, and were 3/8 hardmodes. When MoP was announced, we decided to temporarily pause the Academy in order to give everyone a fair chance to cement their spot in the main team. Now that we have a solid raiding core; we are looking to give you an opportunity!

The Academy is open to everyone; we only require that you expect to maintain a 75% attendance rate in case we deem you ready and able to obtain a spot with the 25M team, and for you to be fully gemmed/enchanted to obtain a spot in our Academy runs. The Academy raids every Saturday, from 9:45 to 1:30 EST.

We also have class mentors ready to assist you in every aspect of character optimization. We will show you how to reforge properly, we will discuss talents/glyphs, theorize about the best possible rotations, and give you advice on how to handle boss encounters better!

If you are interested, please check us out at www.amaranthknights.com and read the Academy section of our forums. If you can meet the requirements and think that we are a fit for you, then fill out an application form on the website. If you need more details, then please add my battletag: audist#1115. You can also send an in-game mail to Kagari, Immergent, or Squarn, and we'll walk you through everything and help you with the application form. We are looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,

Kagari, Recruiter of <Amaranth Knights>

Last week, we had a week of successful 25Ms that culminated into an Elegon kill. Our 10M also improved its own progression by taking down Tayak. We are still looking for heals and RDPS to join us in our steady climb through the ranks!

Mel'jarak is down on 25M, and we've also cleared HF and killed Protectors using the kill order to get elite loot on 10M. We are still looking for Hunters, Shamans, a Retadin, a Mistweaver Monk, 1-2 Druids (feral/resto/boom) for our main team. Our Academy is open to those that are looking to experience raiding while learning their class!

We have also set aside a server transfer fund to help people with the cost of changing servers; if you are interested, please check the OP for information on how to contact us!

25M team killed everything except for Sha of Fear, while our 10M team brought Feng and Garaj'al to their respective dooms on heroic!

We're still looking to fill up the 25M, and here's yet another reminder; the Academy is always open!

-note: We will consider all good applications
      -socials are welcome to join.
Critical Experiment is based on the Horde side of Draenor - est 2007. We are a late night raiding guild. We are looking for mature players with good knowledge of their class and role within a raid environment.
We raid after the usual hours (22.00-00.00 server time sometimes to 00:30) 2 days per week ( Thursday and Sunday). We are mature players who have other commitments at 'normal' raid times, so we take the opportunity to get together and play at a later hour.
What you can expect to get from us?
      * We aim to clear all content atleast on Heroic difficulty. When we can, on top of that we try getting some Mythic kills too.
      * A relaxed but firm raiding atmosphere.
      * A group of skilled raiders who enjoy seeking progression in PvE raiding.
      * A friendly home. Our members are sociable players and enjoy raiding old content, doing challenge mode, achievement runs and alts runs wherever possible. As such, a raiders friends/family are welcome in CE
      * A semi-hardcore raiding guild whose aim is to use our limited hours in the best way that we can, maintaining progress with a decent atmosphere.
      * We provide all "raiders" with free repairs from the Guild Bank 24/7. Members can also make use of the extensive mats available in the Guild Bank, all of which are provided for raiding.
What do we expect from you if you raid with us?
      * Maturity in both age and attitude towards your fellow team mates (Don’t bother applying if you’re under the age of 17, we will most likely decline,)
      * A solid internet connection and a solid gaming rig to raid on (You’re useless to us if your connection drops out every encounter or your system cannot handle the FPS)
      * A high level of skill and sensible raiding. Know your role, class and the encounters.
      * Punctuality - Showing up for raids in good time and being well prepared with flasks, food buffs, etc (though supplied by gb better be safe then sorry).
      * Be active on the Guild forums. Engage in tactics discussion and socialise with the Guild.
      * Able to attend minimum 2/3 of raids scheduled raids per week (If not, we will remove your raider status or fail your trial if accepted to CE; progress night attendance is really important for the core)
      * You’re able to take constructive criticism during raids and subsequently able to use that criticism to improve your level of skill, and play.
      * We expect all members to be able to connect to "Discord". Mic is optional.
For questions, feel free to contact one of the current Officers of Crit exp in game or on our forums (Where you can also apply to Critical Experiment)

Guild: Dawn of the Dead | http://www.dotd.org   Faction: Horde | Server: Zul'jin (PvE) | Timezone: EST   Current Progression: 8/9M BoD | 2/2H CoS | 8/8M Uldir CE   We've been raiding max size raids continuously since WoW has been released and are the only guild to have done so here on Zul'jin. We have strong leadership, no drama, and plans to keep raiding for years to come. Unlike many guilds, we're not recruiting for the short term, and we don't over-recruit.   Website: www.dotd.org
Raid Times: Our schedule is 8-11 EST Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.   Needs: We are a small guild, and we expect high attendance. As such, we recruit people to raid, and desire people who can step in and contribute immediately. We don’t recruit people to sit around, so all spots are for raiders who can expect to be in most every raid.   We are currently looking to add skilled and reliable:
Ranged DPS: High: Shadow Priest, Mage Medium: Warlock 1 Healer:
      High: Resto Shaman, Mistweaver Monk

*ALL exceptional applicants will be considered regardless of the class.   What we ask of you:   Effort: Not all applicants come from highly progressed guilds, and that’s okay, but it does mean that you need to be prepared. We recruit the player, not the gear, but we do ask that you have some current experience. You need to have the best gear available to you with top end enchants and gems where available. You also need to be able to display an understanding of your class mechanics, role in a raid, and ability to learn new fights.   Attitude: It’s a game. We play for fun. How you fit in with the guild is taken very seriously. We’re a bunch of mostly 18-30 guys and girls who have fun playing together. While we have a good time, we also know when it’s time to buckle down and work hard.   Skill: The best way to determine skill is to see you in a raid. Because we don’t wish to have anyone transfer that we’re not serious about, be able to express your knowledge of your class and why you’re an exceptional player who would be an asset and is worth a shot. Gear will come with time. Skill will not. Impress us with your knowledge of your class and gameplay mechanics. Feel free to share any logs, theorycrafting, or other work you've done.   Commitment: We make a commitment to you, and ask you to do the same to us. A raid takes a team of more than 20 individuals working together. We rely on you to show up to raids, research your class and new fights, respect your fellow players, and notify us when you are unavailable. You rely on us for gear, experience, and coordination. It's a large investment of our time to train and gear new players, and we ask the same investment on your part so that we can each benefit.   We have a variety of informational resources available to prospective applicants on our web site: http://www.dotd.org-- please refer to our "Applications" forum for detailed information. Also feel free to visit us on WoWProgresss for more information and kill videos! http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/us/...wn+of+the+Dead   Should you wish to speak to someone in-game, please don't hesitate to reach out to an officer directly, whisper Alloren (Alloren#1606), Xanah (Xana#1662) or Jeare (Jeare#1759).   We look forward to hearing from you soon!

      Who we are:
The Shadow Legion is an early evening raiding guild. Our goal is to try and clear the current content (Cutting Edge) as fast as we can and maintain a friendly and positive atmosphere.
We are a group of friends who enjoy playing together no matter what the content is. Our guys come from a hardcore raiding background dating all the way to TBC days. We know we can push the hardest content if we set our minds to it.
After a long hiatus from mythic raiding we are rebuilding our mythic roster to effectively start clearing mythic BoD and in the near future, Crucible. We currently have a very solid core group of 10-12 players who have been together for a few years now. We are looking to fill our ranks with other like minded players with a background in mythic raiding and the attitude of improving themselves and the group as a whole.
      Raiding times:
      Wednesday: 18:00 - 20:30
      Sunday: 18:00 - 20:30
      Monday 18:00 - 20:30
      All times are Server time.
Times may be extended or an extra raid added during early progression if the group is willing to push harder.
What we expect from our raiders:
Attendance: We have a very chill raiding schedule totaling 6 hours a week. That is why we expect our raiders to have as close to a 100% attendance ratio as possible. We understand emergencies but if you cannot maintain close to perfect attendance then it will quickly become an issue due to time constraints.
Proficiency: We expect our raiders to be proficient with their classes and are always trying to improve. Whether it be by working on gear or going through your logs to find ways to improve, we will try our best to help where we can.
Communication: Headsets and a working mic are a must. You do not to be talking all the time but being able to provide information quickly during a pull is a huge benefit.
Dedication: You need to have a positive attitude towards raiding and progressing. Understand that sometimes it takes time and effort to get some bosses down. We need players who are dedicated to achieve our common goal and maintain that competitive spark to push further where we can.
Feel free to apply on: https://sl.enjin.com/recruitment as we do consider all applicants at all times.
