Hello! I appreciate your interest in Static, and while I could go on and on about us and why we're the "perfect" guild for you, I'd rather you take a moment and simply see what we're all about. The best thing you can do is visit our website and review the FAQ section of our forum.

Want a quick snapshot of our atmosphere and how I treat my raiders? Check out our kill videos and live raids. Want a direct line to speak to me? Tweet me.

Our Current Needs

To prevent me from having to update this post, and many others, please review our current needs on our WoWProgress page.

Attitude
We expect nothing but a positive mindset. We don't tolerate whiners, complainers, excuse makers, loot mongers, or anything that falls in between or around those descriptions. We expect you to hunger for improvement, as we are constantly looking for ways to become better raiders and players.

Raid Schedule
We raid Wednesday, Thursday, and Monday from 8:30pm - 12:30am Eastern. We may require you to go until 12:45am some nights, depending on what we are working on. We have no desire to raid more than three nights a week. We need people who are able to commit to almost 100% of our raids. We respect and understand that everyone has a real life, but plan accordingly.

Please visit our website if you are serious about raiding efficiently.

Contact the following individual if you need to speak to someone online, but again, our forums are always the best place to reach us: MrShaft#1904 (please note this is not my BTag)

While I don't see much point in listing something as routine as a guild name, or even the server that a guild plays on, if that's the requirement then so be it. For everyone else, our needs have been updated.

      About Ourselves/Mission:
We are a recently formed Horde guild on Thrall, that was created by several diversely experienced players with the intent to tackle high-end PvE as well create a positive community for all its members. After several long years involved in competitive raiding guilds, a lot of the members that founded MR wanted to create something more unique, humble and relaxed for its intended members. **We are focused on providing members a worthwhile experience with a strong stance against negativity within a guild/game environment.** We want all our members to feel like family and to never to feel left out, or discouraged based on their skill or experience. We will aspire to be focused on Mythic quality end-game activity, comradeship and team play for Dungeons, Warfronts, and Isle Expeditions. No matter the level of content desired by the member, MR wants all of its members to feel welcomed and involved. With that being said, we were founded with the intent to maintain a positive/constructive community, which no member would feel threatened or misguided by any of its members.
      What we are looking for:
      a) We desire mild-mannered individuals with the maturity that will be necessary to move forward in endgame content. (We have a "zero tolerance" policy for Drama as unnecessary drama only becomes a detriment to morale and progression).
      b) We are not in the business of wasting anyone’s time. Which means that we expect raiders to put in their best foot forward by all the methods of research for their class/spec and boss strategies but we will be more than happy to help get people where they strive to be. We aren't in the business of leaving a man behind, so if you are struggling or new to the end-game grind, we understand and have been there so we will be there to help.
      c) We want dedication. A good portion of us have families and know that things happen when we least expect it. We are flexible when life happens, but we will not hold raid roles/spots for consistently flaky players. Dedication will help maintain the flow of progression.
      d) We are looking to rapidly fill raid slots that remain open. We like to consider this a semi-surge recruitment, which is granting a guaranteed raid spot within the next couple of weeks as we prepare for Uldir on September 4th.
      e) **Casual Players**: Though this guild has intentions to knock out high end-game content without any restraint, we also have a home for you. We understand that not everyone can show up when needed, with this we understand completely and will be willing to work with you. If you don’t want to do end-game that is fine with us as well. We want you to feel just as welcomed in the guild as anyone else) we know through experience that Casual can = Mythic, so don't be afraid to talk to us and see if we can be a good home for you. Social members are always welcome as we enjoy the copious amounts of conversation that you guys/girls generally provide.

      f) We know through experience that Casual can = Mythic, so don't be afraid to talk to us and see if we can be a good home for you.

      Contact: PinkFap#2713
      Current recruitment needs:
Mainly looking for ranged DPS and healers of any class. Tank OS is a big plus.
      TL;DR:
<SHP> Is looking for lost souls to join us in BFA. We're accepting both socials and people willing to take a serious(ish) approach to Heroic raiding and PvP. We're long-time friends and former hardcore raiders going as far back as Vanilla. We're going casual+ for BFA to enjoy ourselves better and play the game under our own more laid back rules. We're highly active both ingame as well as in our Discord channel. Most of all we're looking for like-minded people who enjoy doing stuff together.
      Full info:
      Wagwan blud,
We are Shiny Happy People! A group of super duper fun, friendly and fun-loving friends who have known and played with each other for many years. We're a very diverse bunch. We have white Dutchman, white Englishman and white Vikingman. A more culturally diverse group you cannae havenae.
While we play many different games, this recruitment ad' primary focus is on World of Warcraft. It is our 'main' game and it requires a bit more organization and has a slightly higher barrier to entry than some of the other games we play. However joining SHP means gaining entry to much fun being had with many good people across a wide variety of PC video games.
Our guild was founded by a large group of rerollers in Warlords of Draenor shortly after the launch of the Hellfire Citadel patch. As the guild Movida we cleared HFC on Heroic in a timely manner and also had a short but fruitless stint in Mythic. Due to a lack of good recruits the guild fell apart and anyone with a grain of skill promptly fucked off for greener pastures.
In comes SHP; A long-standing semi-small group of friends hell-bent on not really doing much or changing at all for the Battle For Azeroth expansion. We're a bunch of uncensored slackers trying to have some fun in this outdated piece of shit we still pay for on a monthly basis. We have been together for many years playing many different games but WoW was the love song that made us come together and continues to serenade us back in. All this means that SHP is built upon a rock solid foundation that will stand the test of time.
Despite adopting the life of the casual we are by no means trash players. Some of us have played and raided since launch. Most of us have raided on a hardcore Heroic/Mythic level at some point in this game' lifespan. A lot of that raiding was even done together. But we've decided that Mythic simply is too stressful and too time consuming for a bunch of twenty-something-year-old single (mostly) men. I mean, some of us have oil night at the Chaps Cruising-Bar to go to!
With that in mind we've decided we want to take things slow and enjoy WoW the way it was meant to be enjoyed; Barely. We will be a Heroic focused raiding guild, weaving in some semi-serious PvP to get rid of our toxic male hormones and to get some sweet transmogs and mounts. Raid days and times TBA. We have no strict attendance rules. Odds are you scrubs bring about as much to the table as an LFR hero and are thus easily replaced by a PUG anyway. We do ask that you let someone know if you can't make it to a raid you signed up for. Wether that is before raid start or 2 days after.
If you think you have what it takes to play with us and then not report us then head to our website and drop an application or join our Discord and bother someone there. For questions or concerns you can contact me on my Bnet.
      Thank you for reading!

      CURRENTLY RECRUITING
      Tank ABOUT US
      Now recruiting for BfA!
Currently looking for a skilled and laid back Tank for the upcoming expansion.
We're semi-casual in terms of the time we spend raiding, but are serious about progression, attendance, and performance.
Booty Pirates is a close-knit late night guild that hangs out in Discord frequently. We enjoy joking around, playing alts, doing Mythic+, playing other games, or just hanging out.
Fun guild events are scheduled often!
Overall, we're very social with guild members that actually talk to each other.
(18+ required, we talk like pirates!)
      GOALS FOR BfA
In Battle for Azeroth we plan to push Mythic more than we did previously in Legion, and not spend nearly as much time on Heroic.
This means we will jump into Mythic/Heroic weekends as soon as the majority of the Heroic gear is done. (Mythic Friday and Heroic Sunday, for example, until we phase Heroic out completely.)
      SCHEDULE UNTIL FIRST TIER*
Below are our events the beginning weeks of BfA! All events start at 10pm CT.
      Week 1
August 13th (Mon) - BfA Weekday Leveling Party! August 17th (Fri) - Leveling up in BfA Drinking Party August 19th (Sun) - Leveling up in BfA Non-Drinking Party Week 2
August 24th & 26th (Fri/Sun) - Mandatory Mythic 0 to prep for Tier 1 *Schedule subject to changes.
