Holy Priest - Multistrike or Crit

Hello guys,

I cannot say I am new to WoW, but I am rookie for some stuff. I used to play as Druid healer but my guild have already 3 dudu healers. So, I have decided to go as Priest. Of course, I had many suggestions to go as Disc, but I do really prefer Holy.

However, I have a problem and decision to make. In AskMrRobot there are two stats: crit and mulistrike. I am not sure which one to take. As Druid healer in MoP it was Spirit than Haste. U got Haste cap and that is all. Should I stick to Multistrike at some iLvl (until when?) or should I just go for Crit? Also, please help me with enchantment for weapon.

I have read a decent number of forum topics, some opinions but still I am quite confused. smile.png

Here is link from my character:

Thanks a lot smile.png

AMR is completely in the wrong when it comes to their supposed crit build for holy. I mean just read the description for it:

Place a cap on Spirit at the level you are comfortable with. Not many people like Crit on a Holy Priest. Mr. Robot included this build because Crit is unfairly discriminated against by the theorycrafting community. On average, it is actually a good throughput stat. It could work.

Emphasis mine. Now, there are several concerns here, but what bothers me here is that none of the arguments they use for using crit as holy has anything to do with its effect on your healing. They say on average it's a good stat, that it could work. The reason they included it is because it's unfairly discriminated against by the theorycrafting community.

This is using their stat weights to further an agenda, not helping people out.

Crit is a decent throughput stat for holy, but for stat weights it's not enough to determine whether a stat is good or not, you need to figure out what stats are best, and subsequently in what order and by what magnitude these stats affect your throughput. For holy, that turns out to be roughly:

That said, the stats are also somewhat close to each other. A piece with mastery/versatility on it that's 15 item levels higher will be an upgrade to a multistrike/crit or similar piece because of the added intellect.

Compare it to their MS>Haste build:

Place a cap on Spirit at the level you are comfortable with. Holy gains extra benefit from Multistrikes with their stat attunement, Divine Providence, making it a strong throughput stat. Getting a decent amount of Haste will also help with heavy movement and emergency healing.

The primary arguments here are actually reasonable. They relate to how the stats affect your throughput. You gain 20% more healing from multistrikes than you do critical strikes and you gain 5% more of the stat and haste increases the healing of your HoTs and the number of Circle of Healings you can cast. These effects make multistrike and haste significantly better than the other three that under normal circumstances can be considered roughly equal.

      Hi guys,

I need some pro help to learn to heal properly with my druid.
I started to play 3 months ago and I've tried to follow build, tips, place proper hots but I always get a very low efficiency index in raid logs with my guild (and with other people).
My ilvl is currently 906, I have two legendaries, and my artifact is at max level. I do have two other legendaries in my bags: Prydaz and Xoni's. Below are my current stats:
Here are a couple of logs of this week raids:
      ToS nm (only 5 bosses):
      Another ToS nm (except KJ):
I think my HPS are rather lacking in comparison to other healers, even though I am not that far away gear-wise. It's so frustrating to see 11-20% of efficiency :(
I'd appreciate any constructive opinion you have and thanks in advance.

I have the pants, gloves, bloodlust helm, chain heal ring and trinket.   The guide says pants and trinket.  I can't help but think the gloves are too good to let go.  I wish there was a way to sim for healers.  I would just like some of your thoughts and opinions on what legos you all would use.  Thanks!

      Hi all,
I am new to healing and playing a shaman. I pretty much only ever played a rogue Wrath-Cata, and have recently come back as a Resto Shaman in Legion. I am doing my best to configure everything correctly but I think that I am missing some stuff. My logs show that I am under preforming (bottom 35% of resto shams in my ilvl range). I am looking for any sort of constructive criticism and advice that anyone may have.
I currently sit at 45 artifact traits, 46.2k intel, 35% crit, 12% haste, and 86% mastery.
If possible I would love to not have to use CBT. If it's the best though, it's the best.
      Armory link:
Logs: sure if above link works)
      Mythic NH:
      Heroic NH:
I am stressing over not being able to keep up with my guilds progression, if you see anything that I need to correct or work on please comment.
      Thanks in advance,

      Hello all.
I decided yesterday to try to setup my resto spec on my shaman.  Normally, I tend to play dps specs but after an interesting encounter during an invasion yesterday, I decided to try my hand at the healing aspect of my shaman.
Here is my current resto armory setup:
I figured I should ask before I leap into this.  I currently have Elvui installed but wanted to see if Vuhdo would be a better substitution for the Elvui frames for healing.    I know I need to setup Weakauras, but have yet to do so.   Therefore, some basic questions I have are:
      1.  How to disable a conflict between Vuhdo and Eluvi frames?
      2.  If I use only Vuhdo frames and not Elvui frames, can that be set differently for dps specs too?
      3.  Since I move with my mouse, all my spells are on my G910 keyboard.  This keyboard has 9 extra "G" keys that I can put a simple macro on to use spells with or without modifyers.  I also am interested in how to setup perhaps two different skills that complement/synergize with each other on one key (even if I have to press said key twice).
Any help would be appreciated.  Please keep in mind I am a total novice when it comes to healing so simplicity while I learn is appreciated.   Thanks in advance.  :)
