[US-Lightbringer][A] The Fallen Renegades is Recruiting

Recommended Posts

Welcome to The Fallen Renegades Recruitment Post

We are rebuilding our Guild we are recruiting for our guild on Lightbringer some may or may not relate to this what we are about. However before you consider paying to transfer/faction change to be part of our core raiding team/guild … please know that we are a progression raiding guild who want to have fun and do the end game content. We are a laid back guild just looking for people who don't mind helping out from time to time when not raiding, who are not looking to rush through everything in a hurry or who cares about being in a top #1 guild on a server, who will have patience, committed to our raiding schedule, and are willing to step up when need to. We are not hardcore; however you are expected to do to perform as a Raider if that is what you are coming here for.

Most important part is our Raiding Schedule:

Tue/Wed 7p – 9p PST (we are trying to accommodate 3 different time zones)

Also an ilvl of 650+ is required to be on our current tier raid team.

We are a progression raiding guild who recognizes that there are real life setbacks that do occur in our lives. We excuse the fact maybe you have a kids function to attend, your are sick, work calls, Military Life calls, or something might hinder you from raiding that day we want you to know we will not punish you and bench you next time you raid just because you missed. We do expect you to inform us on our website the why and when of not making a raid.

We are a guild that looks to construct it in a manner that creates an environment that generates long friendships and a guild home. If you are one of us, you probably have been doing Hardcore for some time and decided it is not worth the hassle of missing out on life and missing out on being part of a guild that feels like a home instead of a institutional, hard driven, high turnover, and always stressful guild as that is just what a Hardcore guild is.

The Fallen Renegades is a place where you can make friends and keep them. The Fallen Renegades we hope you will have the feel of true security throughout your tem with the guild. Should you be someone that is a Veteran of this game, you know that causal guilds usually are awful at raiding. Hardcore guilds will bench you/drop you from team if someone is just a percent or two better than you, but we are not a in either of these two categories we are a rare find. We have a great raiding team in place and looking to do all game content who just want to have FUN getting there. It might take a little bit longer as we are not looking to rush through everything we are looking to make good memories through the easy and hard times that way when you look back you can recall them later in life and not look back if you only raid for gear and glory, its short lived and resets every xpack with no memories. If you truly understand what we are about you will fit in just fine.

So if you are a exceptional player that:

Joined a Hardcore guild and tired of the fast passed, never feeling secure, stressful type play style and ready for a change.

Want to make friends you can count and depend on.

Wants leadership and guild mates that want a social guild and also can raid all levels of content (not a very easy thing to do, but we have and will continue to do so!)

Then look no further!

We currently are looking for a the following core raiding openings:

1 Tank

2 Heals

1 Warlock

1 Shaman

1 Rogue

Raid Leader Position also open

Prior to Rebuild we did:

Highmaul -- 6/7N and 6/7H

Balckrock Foundry -- 5/11N

After Rebuild we will start with the following to see where we should be:

Heroic Highmaul and then back into BRF

Other quick things about our raiding:

We take your commitment to the 2 days serious we hope you do to.

We expect you to be ready to raid including being prepared for the raid.

If you need something like flasks, enchants, and what not all you have to do is ask if we can provide we will, but understand it is not our responsibility.

We will demote/bench you if you refuse to improve to be your best and if you miss out on the raid days on a constant bases.

Should you want to be a part of our guild or have questions you can contact me Yesabella on my battlenet tag at Poohbear41#1912.

Justice is a no drama, alliance casual heroic raiding guild on the Ghostlands & Kael'thas PvE server. We've been around since wrath with most of our core leadership around since Vanilla & BC. We like to have fun, joke around and kill bosses. We don't have a strict attendance or loot system. For all of Legion and the raid tiers so far in BFA we have received our AOTC's.
We also have a farm raid on Sunday where we will help fresh 110's, alts, friends and people that can't join us on Wednesday or Monday get loot. We enjoy helping people out, chillin' on Discord and have some peeps that like to get their Mythic+ and PvP on. We are working on building out our 20 man roster and hope this sounds like a guild you can come and have fun with! As a guild we use Discord. We pay for a guild subscriptions of Ask Mr. Robot, RaidBots & WarcraftLogs.

Established in 2009, Cyrus is a guild with its roots in MMO games reaching back to Warhammer Online. We are an organised and dedicated guild completely committed to getting the best out of our players while trying to keep track of where the fun is. We aren't afraid to put the hard work in, try out new strategies and we certainly aren't the type to give up after the first wipe - we will adapt, refocus and find a way to reach our objective.
Although Cyrus has at times been considered an elite guild, we are certainly not looking for elitist players. We value teamwork and positive attitude far more than individual ego and rhetoric. We recognise that we are only as good as those we run with, and that means if we want to improve we must improve not only ourselves but those around us. This is not achieved through bragging, whining or quitting - it's achieved through patience, practise and hard work. It's not about how good any individual is, it's about how good your group is and how you can work with others to improve it.
Cyrus is not a casual guild, and we have been greatly put off by the increasingly casual nature of MMOs recently. To us, guild and realm pride should mean something. We don't spam invite players, we ask members to apply to join us because they see something in us that they want to participate in. And in return, we work tirelessly to place the right people in the right groups, increase our players awareness and knowledge of the game and their class, and to organise varied and epic guild events that we will remember for years to come.
If you are looking to make your journey through World of Warcraft Classic legendary, and you are prepared to put the time and effort in to maximise not only your own, but your teams play style and skill, then Cyrus is the guild for you. You will need a thick skin, a good sense of humour, the discipline to know when to speak up and when to shut up, and the dedication to constantly evolve and improve.

This is a condensed version of our guild history. To read the full version, please click here.
We started life in Warhammer Online in March 2009 (originally called Exodus) and became the largest and most active Order PvP guild on the Karak-Norn server. We played a central role in co-ordinating our faction, hosting cross-alliance community initiatives to try and bring the many guilds and alliances on the server together in an attempt to take the fight to the numerically superior Destruction side.

Cyrus in Warhammer, known as Exodus. We fought for Order on Karak-Norn
We later moved to Aion where we became a top 10 ranked Elyos PvP guild on the Perento server. Intending to pursue our enjoyment of PvP, we were one of the primary guilds in the early days of the game, however the severe PvE grind and lack of meaningful PvP content meant that our player base changed somewhat and we became more of a PvE guild with occasional raids in the Abyss. We refocused when the ground PvP patch was released and had a lot more fun.

Cyrus in Aion. We fought for Elyos on Perento. Embracing the grind…
In Rift we combined these two playstyles and became unquestionably the most successful and talked about PvP guild on our server, all the while maintaining competitive PvE raids that cleared all content in the game. We were yet again the leading guild when it came to organising our faction, setting up server-wide PvP events to increase participation and enjoyment for all in the game.
Such was our success in the PvP lakes that we eventually ran out of opposition to fight against, so we transferred servers looking for new challenges. Our influence was so great that most guilds from both factions followed our move, and within a few weeks our previous server was transformed from the busiest EU PvP server to a trial realm!

Cyrus in Rift. We fought for Guardians on Whitefall. We dominated the PvP until everyone else quit crying.
After a brief spell in SWTOR, which was completely awful, we moved to World of Warcraft (Horde, Stormscale) in 2012. While we obviously didn’t find any Open World PvP, we did enjoy the challenges of running three Rated Battlegrounds teams, with the occasional Raid to pass the time. During our first full Rated Battlegrounds season we managed to take a group of mostly new-to-WoW players to a legitimate 2200+ rating, something that was not so simple to do as a guild in this game with all the win-traders and cheats.

Cyrus in WoW. From zero to 2200+, proving the doubters wrong!
Since then, we have dabbled in Final Fantasy XIV and been back to WoW. But these were the beginning of barren times, as games such as Guild Wars 2 and Wildstar, which should have been natural homes for guilds such as ours, failed to deliver on expectations. In 2016 we launched 'Club Cyrus' - a more casual multiplayer gaming initiative enabling us to at least play something together - Rocket League, The Division, Chivalry, Ghost Recon, etc. And while these games each gave us many hours of light entertainment, we have always yearned for an MMO to come along and do it old-school again, to give us a real home to stick with and build our characters and guild over 1000's of hours. Something that requires old-school effort, commitment and team work. Something that can help us escape our drab real lives, and instead transform into better looking, more in-shape, possibly even female (!) avatars with gloriously pixelated wardrobes that speak of our daring and courageous deeds on the virtual battlefield!

A typical Cyrus group lines up for a picture: Bruce, Dave, Steve, Alan and Dan.

      WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
While we have a strong core that are committed to giving up their social lives from August 27th, we need more bodies to throw on the pile. That’s where you come in! Cyrus is an 'old school' MMO guild, and we are looking for members who want to become part of a greater community, who want to put the effort in and earn their achievements rather than get carried.
We are looking for intelligent, active and friendly players to join our ranks. In World of Warcraft Classic, we are hoping to create a successful guild with outstanding organisation, solid progression and a shared objective. We want dedicated and reliable players who are in it for the long haul, who will not quit at the first or second hurdle, and will hold out for the payoff that such a team of players deserve. No elitism, no egos, and plenty of patience, reality and understanding. Ok, maybe a little bit of elitism!
Members should take the time to learn their class and skills, and how they can best benefit their guild teams. Being an excellent individual player is great, but it is far more important to be an excellent team player, to follow instructions, and to know when to stop joking around, focus, and stop standing in the lava! Your goals should be that of the guild as a whole, not of yourself.
Members are required to use Discord and have a clear, working microphone. We welcome members from all over the world, however we do ask that in guild chat and Discord English is used at all times.

      WHAT WE CAN OFFER
Cyrus is an experienced, focused, progression-based guild for mature, skilled and team-orientated players. We offer Discord voice communications with a mostly family-friendly atmosphere, as well as our own website which is used to organise pretty much everything we do. We have a long-established leadership who is committed to getting the most out of our members and ensuring everyone is working towards their own and the common goals of the guild.

Guild levelling PvP event in Rift. If you haven't experienced being in a really great guild before, get it right for WoW Classic!
We have a strong community spirit, and thanks to our successful recruitment in previous games, a very welcoming attitude towards new members of any experience level so long as they are prepared to put the time in. We do not form cliques, and we do not favour members based on their time or rank within the guild.
While Cyrus’ main objective will be clearing raid content, we are a guild steeped in the rich tradition of PvP and as such, you can expect organised Battlegrounds and World PvP nights. Our current plan is to raid two evenings per week, provisionally on Wednesdays and Sundays.

      HOW TO APPLY
If this sounds like your kind of guild, then please check out our website, read our Guild Code, and feel free to apply on our forums. Please also feel free to include any questions you may have with your application.
