[US-Sen'Jin][A] <Phantom> BRF: 10/10 H, dps and healers

1 post in this topic

Hey Everyone,

We're a fun adult casual raiding guild with 2 teams: West coast team (10/10H) raids Wednesday and Monday 8:30PM -11:30AM PST and East Coast (8/10H) team raids Thursday and Sunday 7:45PM-10:45PM EST. West coast team is looking for strong dps: boomkins (highest priority), mages, rouges, and/or locks (Though any dps besides hunters and warriors are needed). East coast team looking for 2 healers, 2 mdps of any class, and 3 rdps of any class.

Agood bit of the guild has raided together for many years, some as far back as BC. A lot of us are RL friends, and meet when we travel etc. We're older, but not ageist. Our guild culture is very important. Knowing each other in RL we treat everyone well: no sexists, racists, and/or douche bags welcome :-). We're all about fun while progressing. We only raid 2 nights a week for 3 hours each night. As such we're also not interested in flakes or hot heads regardless of ability.

We're also always happy to have social players; who just want to level alts, pet battle, and run dungeons. Feel free to real ID friend me (progeny#1851), or visit our web site (phantom-sj.guildlaunch.com) for any questions.

Cerebn/Frank

May is ahead of us and Blizzard published a list of events that await us in Azeroth in the upcoming month.
Don't forget to check out our "This Week in WoW" series (published every Tueday), where we preview all events in more detail on a weekly basis!
      Blizzard (Source)
Time flies when you’re fighting the Burning Legion! May is already looming over us, much like the Sentinax looms over the Broken Shore. Despite the long shadow cast by this Legion ship, Azeroth’s champions fight on—and there are still bright moments ahead. Keep an eye on your in-game calendar for exact start and end times of the many events this month so you don’t miss a thing!
      In Game Events
      Children's Week (May 1 - 8)

Show an orphan what the hero’s life is like! Visit Orphan Matron Nightingale in Orgrimmar, Orphan Matron Mercy in Shattrath, or Orphan Matron Aria in Dalaran and make a child’s dream come true.
      Battleground Bonus Event (May 2 - 8)
While this event is active, random Battlegrounds will award Honor at an increased rate. Glory awaits in the fields of battle!
PvP Brawl: Warsong Scramble (May 2 - 8)
Do you have a flag? Warsong Gulch has always been the scene of an epic capture-the-flag battle, but what happens when you can capture your enemy’s flag without having your own at your base? Find out when you step into this PvP Brawl! We’ve also added a few more power-ups to the field of battle to stir things up a bit. To win, your team will need to be the first to capture five flags.
      Darkmoon Faire (May 7 - 13)
Meet Silas Darkmoon and his troupe, play games that test mind and nerve, and behold exotic sights from the four corners of Azeroth and beyond!
      Legion Dungeon Event (May 9 - 15)
While this event is active, the final boss of each Legion dungeon awards an extra item when defeated.
      Spring Balloon Festival (May 10 - 12)
The skies are clear; the wind is calm—it’s a great day for hot air ballooning. Hop into a hot air balloon, enjoy the scenery, and make some new friends!

Pet Battle Bonus Event (May 16 - 22)
While this event is active, your pets will earn experience at triple the usual rate! Get out there and battle!
PvP Brawl: Deepwind Dunk (May 16-22)
Can you even dunk? If you want to win this Brawl, you’re going to need to work on your skills because Dunkball has come to Pandaria. You’ll race to claim balls from the map’s center, or northern, or southern mines, take them to your enemy’s base, and then go for a magnificent long range shot or go all in for the dunk.
Cataclysm Timewalking Dungeon Event (May 23 - 29)
While this event is active, players level 86 or higher may access a special Timewalking Dungeon Finder queue, which scales players and their items down to revisit past dungeons from the Cataclysm expansion. While Timewalking bosses will yield loot appropriate for a player’s regular level.
      Glowcap Festival (May 27)
Today, the sporelings of Sporeggar in Zangarmarsh hold their annual mushroom festival. Help them keep the great Fshoo alive as long as possible!
Arena Skirmish Event (May 30 - June 5)
While this event is active, Arena Skirmishes will award Honor at an increased rate. Will you answer the call to battle?

      About us:
Gordian Knot is a 20-man semi-hardcore raiding guild that consists of experienced raiders with some of them having raiding experience as far back as Vanilla.
We are a friendly group who enjoys World of Warcraft and loves raiding. We have fun and joke around but when bosses need to go down then all is serious! We wish for all our members to enjoy the game as much as we do and we expect raiders to maintain a 70% attendance per month.
We also enjoy a variety of other activities such as running a lot of Mythic+ dungeons doing alt-runs, achievement runs etc.
There are a few things we hold in high value but above else we value friendliness and politeness towards guildies and other players and skillfulness when it comes to the more serious parts of the game.
      Currently :
We raid 3 nights a week, Wednesdays, Sundays and Mondays, from 20:00 till 23:00 server time.
Although we are a 20-man guild, we usually run an extra group in order to get more people to experience the joys of raiding, help new raiders learn the Knot's way to down bosses and gearing up. Usually, these runs happen on Thursdays or Fridays.
Saturdays are left for older content runs for fun and drinking!
Our current guild progress is 10/10 on Nighthold heroic and 3/10 on mythic, and we're focusing on Mythic Progress at the moment!
If you're interested in joining Gordian Knot, please fill in our application form, located at http://gordian-knot.eu/apply/, alternatively please whisper Athlioss@Draenor or add my battletag Athlios#2283.
PS. We're always open to group applications or guild merging discussions.
We are also open and welcome social applications.
