We would be looking for the tank to begin raiding with us Sunday. If you are raid locked until Tuesday please reach out to me still as it isn't a deal-breaker. This is for a core consistent spot within our 5/10M team. 100% attendance is expected during first 2 weeks. Beyond the first 2 weeks, we expect limited to no misses; however, we understand that situations happen. We are also open to recruit DPS, ranged in particular.

Gordian Knot is a 20-man semi-hardcore raiding guild that consists of experienced raiders with some of them having raiding experience as far back as Vanilla.
We are a friendly group who enjoys World of Warcraft and loves raiding. We have fun and joke around but when bosses need to go down then all is serious! We wish for all our members to enjoy the game as much as we do and we expect raiders to maintain a 70% attendance per month.
We also enjoy a variety of other activities such as running a lot of Mythic+ dungeons doing alt-runs, achievement runs etc.
There are a few things we hold in high value but above else we value friendliness and politeness towards guildies and other players and skillfulness when it comes to the more serious parts of the game.
We raid 3 nights a week, Wednesdays, Sundays and Mondays, from 20:00 till 23:00 server time.
Although we are a 20-man guild, we usually run an extra group in order to get more people to experience the joys of raiding, help new raiders learn the Knot's way to down bosses and gearing up. Usually, these runs happen on Thursdays or Fridays.
Saturdays are left for older content runs for fun and drinking!
Our current guild progress is 10/10 on Nighthold heroic and 2/10 on mythic, and we're focusing on Mythic Progress at the moment!
If you're interested in joining Gordian Knot, please fill in our application form, located at http://gordian-knot.eu/apply/, alternatively please whisper Athlioss@Draenor or add my battletag Athlios#2283.
PS. We're always open to group applications or guild merging discussions.
We are also open and welcome social applications.
[The Venture Co/Maelstrom/Lightninghoof] [H] <Converge> (EN 7/7 N 7/7 H 4/7 M; TOV 3/3 N 3/3 H, NH 10/10 N 10/10 H) Looking for Ranged DPSBy Babblet
Location: Horde – US Connected Realms: The Venture Co - Maelstrom - Lightninghoof
Converge has been around since WoW Vanilla and has been raiding together since Molten Core; most of our members have been playing together for years. In its older days, when most of us where young, we were more raid focused and demanded a lot from our members. Over the years we had to adjust our playtime and priorities with a growing list of RL responsibilities and are now, for all intents and purposes, a two day raiding guild. We had to cut our total hours spent playing WoW but we still remain just as competitive and result oriented.
Basics: ilvl 885+; 40+ points in MS Artifact Weapon; DMG Dealers 400k+ DPS ST.
Raiding 101: ability to execute/avoid fight mechanics; communicate in English and use a microphone.
We raid twice a week, a total of 8 hours; attendance of 90% is mandatory. We require you to function at 100% from the second the raid starts all the way to its end; if you cannot commit to a raiding schedule and be online on time this is not a guild for you.
GRepairs and flasks are provided by GBank; members pitch in mats and/or gold to help out. Guilds preparedness to raid and supply its members with enchants/etc is a team effort. If you are accepted as a member be prepared to do your part.
Currently we are trying to build up our roster to start Mythics.
Raid Times: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM Eastern Time – Monday/Tuesday.
Recruitment: Ranged DPS / Heals.
EN 7/7 Normal - 7/7 Heroic - 4/7 Mythic
ToV 3/3 Normal - 3/3 Heroic
NH 10/10 Normal - 10/10 Heroic

So, I was just wondering out of curiosity if there was a way to change the weakauras trackers for sunfire and moonfire to be based on an absolute value of the maximum time sun/moonfire lasts for rather than being based on a percentage of how long the DoT has been active on the target. Basically, doing it the normal way, if you have Nature's Balance (which you should) then using solar wrath or lunar strike will extend the duration of sunfire/moonfire, respectively. However, basically all this does to the tracker is make it decrease slightly slower each time. For the sake of convenience I'm just going to refer to it as a bar because that's what I use. I want it so that when the DoT is at its maximum possible duration, the bar is completely full, and then decrease from there. That way, it's less confusing.
